“Troy and Shalah were wonderful. We had a bit of a mix up with the booking and they were extremely flexible and took great care of my skittish and crazy dog. I would definitely use them again.”

“Leah stayed with our two cats for a week while we were on vacation. We got daily updates and photos. You can tell she really cares about their well-being and knows how to go to “speak cat!””

“Greg and his girlfriend, Hannah, were so wonderful. My flight got delayed and I had to find a sitter to watch my two pups for the same day and they were fast to respond and very accommodating! Greg seemed super knowledgeable and sent me updates and pictures of my dogs! They were respectfully of my home and left it just as they found it! Definitely will book with him again :)”

“Norman showed up with great energy & care for our first time with him sitting. Page loves to see him & Norman stays in touch throughout the day with good awareness to tune in for needs for me & pup while I was away.”

About: I am super fun and energetic. I absolutely love to play and take care of animals. I have a certification in Dog Psychology & Training and I'm available for overnight visits! I'm available for any of your daytime needs for your pet. I have owned, and still own, many dogs in the past so I have no problems with breed restrictions and I'm not hesitant with any dog. If you are looking for someone who will genuinely care for your pet and give them the care they deserve, I'm here! Please consider me when you're looking for a person to care care of your little, or big furry friend! Thank you so very much! I have 3 cats of my own and my parents have 2 dogs, so I'm constantly taking care of animals. I also have 5 foster kittens that mix into my daily routine! Pets in my home are well taken care of. They are given all the food and supplements they need! They also always have clean litter and a vacuumed space, so they don't track litter around the house.

About: As a retired registered nurse, this lifelong passion now extends beyond the hospital and office to my furry friends. Between my own pets and foster pets, over the years, my spouse and I have cared for as many as 20 dogs and 5 cats (not at the same time!). I've adopted 2 dogs with special needs including a chihuahua with a seizure disorder that required daily anti-seizure medication and emergency PR valium and a terrier with kidney failure and anemia. I've taken care of puppies and seniors I've volunteered and support our local animal shelters, ASPCA & SPCA. Scaling back for retirement, we now have a two 5 pound Chihuahua mixes that we love to the moon and back! This Spring, we fostered 2 Chihuahuas from the local Animal Alliance and helped to find forever homes bringing true joy to many hearts. Now it's time to show my love and compassion for your pet! Newly retired, I have more time to love on my dogs. I wake up when I hear their first whimper or bark. I take them to my small fenced back yard for 1st potty. They play a bit while I make a cup of coffee. Then I make their breakfast. Making sure everyone is getting along and not stealing anyone's food. After eating we go out for second potty break. We play inside for a while then cuddle on the couch for AM news. Play time could mean a walk if needed or a game of fetch. When I'm away pet sitting your Pets, my spouse maintains our pet care routine. First and foremost I will make sure your dog is SAFE. Making sure they are not eating or chewing on the wrong things or running out an open door or gate. I will follow your instructions to maintain your dogs routine for feeding, elimination, exercise, play, cuddling, napping and sleeping. All animals enjoy routine, consistency and kindness and I will do my best to provide all this and more to for your pets while you are away.

“Robert was very attentive to our dog. He took him on walks and spent a lot of time hanging out with him. He kept us updated throughout our trip and sent lots of pictures. We were very happy with him. I would highly recommend him and will use him again!”

“Dawn was so caring and loving with my girls. This was a last minute booking , but it felt like she had known my pups forever. Dawn took her time to get to know each of my dogs’ personalities and made sure they were well taken care of. She followed all my instructions. My house looked great upon my return. I will definitely will be using her again in the near future!”

“We hired Alyssa over Thanksgiving while we went out of the country for the holiday. We chose to have her stay at the house with Yuki because he’s a recent rescue and still a little anxious about his life. Alyssa stopped by a few days before our trip to meet our dog and make sure they were a good fit. They made fast friends and we booked her for the week. Alyssa kept in touch with us by sending texts and pictures throughout our trip to ensure us that Yuki was happy and thriving! Upon arriving home, we found the house in perfect order and she even washed the sheets and folded them up for us! She also wrote us a letter detailing the week and how Yuki did while she was watching him. I couldn’t recommend Alyssa enough! She was excellent with my (sometimes nervous) dog. I would definitely use her again in the future. Worth every penny!”

“I would highly recommend Val to anyone! This was my first time using Rover and I admit to being a little nervous at first. But as soon as I met Val, I knew that our 3 dogs and older cat would be in excellent hands. While away I received video and photos and text updates. Even our cat, who is normally shy around new people, was Val’s best friend within no time! I would gladly call on Val again in the future.”

“Kayla was awesome. She stayed at our place with our older pup and new puppy. Sent us updates and pictures. We felt totally confident in leaving our pups with her so we could go and relax. Will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future!”

About: I'm 63 and you can call me Frank! I have had and loved dogs since I was a kid. Okay, mom and dad did most of the work back then, but from my teenage years on I've housebroken and helped raise three of my dad's chihuahua's, the last of which we adopted when he passed ten years ago. She is still with us, along with my daughter's dog who also lives with us now! Also, my son's chihuahua puppy visits every two weeks or so! We are all very diligent with getting them on schedules, fed, walked and played-with regularly. My dad's almost 14 year old chihuahua still plays with the puppy, that tell you something? My pictures show a couple shots of our dogs on vacation with us in Gettysburg- they've also been to Canada, Ocean City, NJ and Lake Glory in the past ten years! We lost the Sheltie, Bella, in January but she had a great life, also pictured! We also had a Tabby named Stanley for 16 years, so I'm cat-friendly too! Your pet will have a great time and be spoiled a bit, whether I'm stopping by for a short stay or sticking around for a while! Of course, your rules first, so just let me know what you need and I'll do the rest! I'm currently driving with Lyft, but really want to scale back the driving and use my flexible schedule constructively by making some of my favorite animals happy! We have a fully-fenced yard in which the dogs love to run, 1100 square feet inside and basically all doggies are treated like family! They are fed dog food only, and just a light treat or two during the day, also dog-related, not "people food" treats. Plain, boiled chicken is the only exception, with white rice if there's an upset belly!. They are bathed monthly in the summer, and brushed randomly, though my daughter's dog has very short hair. I have also stayed at the homes of several individuals to care for their pets, a few of whom should be submitting testimonials shortly, if they haven't already!

“Wendy watched our shepherd mix, Dakota, while we were abroad for 8 nights. Prior to our trip, Dakota got diagnosed with an illness that required twice a day antibiotics to be given. Wendy made me feel at ease that this would be no problem. I received many updates and knew that Dakota was being very well cared for! Wendy is very thoughtful and kind. She has a very sweet manner with dogs. On a windy day she double checked that Dakota’s outdoor fence had no damage. I greatly appreciate Wendy’s care for my girl!”

About: I grew up with a chihuahua who was part of our family for 11 years, and I currently help care for our 4-year-old rescued Australian shepherd/pit bull mix. I especially enjoy going on walks and getting to know each dog’s personality while hanging out. I graduated from UW–Madison in May and am currently in my gap year before starting medical school. While I’m applying for a gap year job, my schedule is pretty flexible on both weekdays and weekends right now! I have a fenced yard and a very friendly dog who loves having company. He’s free to roam the house during the day and sleeps in a crate at night. I’m happy to follow a routine that works best for your dog.

“Brian is an exceptional human being with tremendous integrity. We went away for two weeks and left him in charge of our home, our acreage, and our lively young cat. He was simply amazing in every way you wish a house sitter or a pet sitter could be. The phrase “above and beyond” came to our minds over and over while we were on our vacation. Our cat bonded with him deeply. In fact, she walked around the house crying for him in the evenings when we first returned home. She couldn’t figure out where her play buddy went. Brian was a fantastic communicator – – sharing all the ordinary goings-on‘s with the house and our cat, including cute photos and video clips. But he also really stepped up when a harder moment came. A powerful wind storm came through the area while we were away, and Brian did an outstanding job of prepping for a possible power outage— which did not end up happening. He also did a great job of communicating with us about any possible house or tree damage— which luckily also did not happen. What we appreciated most about Brian was his calm, warm, caring, and very-capable demeanor. We feel very blessed to have gotten to know him, and we plan to have him watch over our home and pets for years to come.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Danielle as our in-home dog sitter! Even though it was just for a day, she made a big impression. Finn was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. Danielle followed all our instructions perfectly, sent us plenty of updates and photos, and treated our home with the utmost respect. It gave us such peace of mind knowing Finn was in such good hands. We would absolutely recommend Danielle to anyone looking for a reliable, kind, and responsible sitter. Thank you again!”

About: I’ve dog-sat my whole life for family and friends and had recent experience caring for cats. My rescue dog Millie came with her own behavior struggles so I understand that every animal has different care needs. I am happy to stick to training schedules, provide any specific healthcare needs or just be the companion/cuddle buddy for your pet. I’m currently in between jobs and have all day to provide the care and attention your pet may need. I’m happy to adapt to any schedule. I have experience with leash training and am able to take dogs on long walks or hikes if requested. I plan to provide a playful and stimulating environment for your pet.

“We were worried our dog Lucky wouldn’t adjust to anyone new, but Natalie was amazing! She played so well with our tiny Yorkshire Terrier, and he loved her - didn’t even miss us! Highly recommend her pet-sitting services!”

Catherine H.
“Catherine has been amazing at watching my two goobers. I have a pitty with a few reactive tendencies and a golden that is all strength no brain. She has watched them at her house multiple times and taken them on walks in the park many times. She has her own dog who has come all the way from a very reactive and high maintenance dog to a loveable well behaved family dog. Catherine put in so much work taking all the lessons and had so much patience with her own dog that I know she can handle almost any dog. She is very responsible and respectful too.
