About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life, starting with fostering puppies through senior dogs. I’m experienced with different temperaments, routines, and basic care like feeding, walks, and medications. My neighbors trust me to watch their pets when they’re away, and I always make sure each dog feels safe, comfortable, and cherished. I treat every dog like my own and prioritize their happiness and well-being. My schedule is pretty flexible, and I do my best to accommodate last-minute bookings when possible! I’m available most weekdays and weekends, especially mornings and evenings. I treat every pet like they’re my own. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I understand every pet has different needs and responsibilities, so I focus on patience and making them feel safe.

Not to mention, if anything in the event goes wrong or something health wise happens to your pet. I have 24hr 365 days a year access to an animal hospital & many er veterinarians.

About: Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m 18 years old and have loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with both dogs and cats and currently have four dogs of my own, so caring for pets has always been a huge part of my life. I currently work at a dog daycare in Lawrence, where I care for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. My job includes supervising playgroups, feeding, giving medications, monitoring behavior, and making sure every dog is safe and happy. Working with so many different dogs has taught me how important it is to treat every pet as an individual. I’m also very comfortable caring for cats. Whether your cat is outgoing and social or prefers their own space. I recently graduated high school and will be attending JCCC this fall to start my pre veterinary studies. My goal is to become a veterinarian! My boyfriend, Cameron, is 20 years old and helps me with pet sitting. He absolutely loves animals and has a lot of experience with them. He helped train our German Shepherd from the time he was a puppy and did an amazing job with him. He also grew up with several cats, so he’s very comfortable around both dogs and cats. I just like to be upfront that he may accompany me on visits or overnight stays. We’re both huge animal lovers and enjoy spending time with pets! I work Tuesday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, but I’m available before work, during my breaks, and after work. I also have full availability on weekends and Mondays. Pet care fits naturally into my schedule, and I do my best to be flexible to meet your pet’s needs. When I’m caring for your pet in their own home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. Whether that’s feeding, walks, playtime, medications, or plenty of cuddles, I’ll make sure they get the attention and care they deserve. About: I have been working for a dog boarding and daycare facility for about a year and a half now! I have learned lots about dog behavior and how to interact with lots of different personalities- and I am still learning every day! I have experience in administering medications and would love to meet your pup! I currently work full-time caring for pets at a daycare facility, typically working either 6-1 or 1-7 Tuesday through Saturday. Fully available on Sunday and Monday! I have my own pup who is fixed and very friendly! I can bring him along if you want your dog to have any socialization or burn extra energy, but I am also more than happy to focus on your pet!

About: I have had dogs since I was born and have taken care of them my entire life! I am a big dog lover and have 25 years of experience raising, feeding, house training, caring for, and loving on my pups (and every dog I encounter!!!) I am currently about to graduate law school in May and then will be studying for the bar exam Monday-Friday full time. So I will be home all-day, everyday during the week with the ability to take dogs on walks, potty breaks, go outside to play, etc. at any point in the day!! I live in an apartment and all of my neighbors have pups to keep your dogs company! There is a fenced-in dog park literally outside my window and I also have a porch that a dog can sit out on! My community is very dog-friendly! I do not have a crate, but if your dog is kennel trained then I can accommodate that if needed! I would prefer the pup to be potty trained and gets along with other dogs also. Other than that, I am pretty flexible as long as the dog is friendly!!

About: I have always been known to my parents friends and neighbors and the person to call if you need help watching your animal. I’ve been pet sitting dogs specifically for just over 4 years but before that I watched everything from cats, to fish, and hamsters. I’ve dealt with numerous dogs suffering from seizures along with many recovering from surgery’s so I know how to handle almost everything. I’m currently a college student. I have some Morning commitments however I can be home with your pet for most of the day, or stop by at any point during the day to walk or let them out. I have an english golden retriever myself so there is another dog within my house, however he’s very friendly with other dogs. We don’t use a crate in our house and the dogs are allowed on the furniture but I’m happy to follow whatever you prefer for your own animal.

About: In my day job I am a home health/ Hospice assistant so I not only have experience taking care of people I also take care of people's fur babies when they are unable to. I also grew up with dogs so there is not a day that goes by in 25 years I have not taken care of a furry friend I currently work monday through friday 730am to 330 pm so afternoons and weekends are when I am most avaliable, and over nights as needed. I have vast knowledge of walking safety, leash control/safety, environmental triggers, and the importance of hydration and rest. About: I grew up taking care of puppies and rescues with my mom, and then moved into helping at a shelter while I was in college. As a grad student and current renter, I can’t have pets of my own so am glad to have the chance to get some cuddles in with yours. I'm happy to work with dogs of all ages and sizes and follow direction well if you are working with any training techniques. I have a soft spot for older dogs in particular and am also happy to look after any plants. I currently attend KU as a grad student where I teach two days a week and am focused on finishing my thesis this semester. I have a fairly flexible schedule and so can maintain a consistent routine for most pets while you’re gone. I’ve traveled a lot and been fortunate to be a guest in many people’s home. I pride myself on being respectful and leaving a house at least as good as I found it. I also try to prioritize pet comfort since I'm a guest in their home too. I try to let them lead interactions so they have a chance to warm up on their own level. I'm also happy to respect household rules and uphold the boundaries the pets are used to (ie., if they're not allowed on certain furniture). If you have any plants that need care while you're away, I love leaning into my green thumb too.

About: I have been lucky enough to take care of my friends' and families' pets for over 15 years. It can be hard on pets when their people are away. I appreciate that, and take extra care in making sure their schedules are kept and they get the love and attention they need to make them feel secure and happy. I often take care of my brother's 11 year old german shepherd, three cats, 6 chickens, and my nephew's beta fish while my brother and his family are away. I have watched many of my friends' dogs and cats (some with medical needs) as well as a sweet blue-cheeked conure. I am almost always available, and I feel comfortable giving medication in any form if necessary. I am lucky enough to have a pretty flexible work schedule. I have the ability to cater my schedule around your animals’ needs and schedules. I respect your pets daily routine. If your animals need extra care, such as medication, I have experience administering them. I’m able to give as many potty breaks as your pups need and make sure they get a lot of attention.

About: I have taken care of dogs within my family, friends of the family. I take daily walks with all 3 of mine each day, make sure to keep track of their health. I enjoy taking dogs places like the park, I have realized a dogs best therapy is being outdoors where they truly can be themselves. I am currently a student at the University of Kansas and summer is here. It will definitely fit into my schedule now since I have a lot more availability and flexibility. I make sure that they are on a schedule, fed certain times a day, with certain measurements, make sure that they have what they need at all times. Whether that be taking them for a walk, having a good belly rub, or even getting them their favorite treat!

About: My family has had dogs, cats and fish my whole life. I often watch them when my parents are out of town and I have dog and cat sat for family & friends for years. I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens. I’m currently available 7 days/wk I work as a server in my pleasant so whoever I’m staying with ideally should be able to go 6-8hrs between potty breaks! If I have 2 weeks or more advanced notice I can make arrangements to be able to check in more frequently. o o o o o o o o o o I love interacting with the pets and getting to see them get more comfortable with me. About: I’ve had dogs since I was an infant and grew to love to train dogs and have been actively caring for/training dogs for 15 years. My family has always asked me when leaving town to care for their animals and have always been happy with the care given while they were gone. Currently working part-time so I’m very free to check on/exercise your pups! I have a lot of experience with a lot of different tools used with dogs; from a flat collar to an e-collar to a prong collar. My three dogs are very well-behaved and are dog, cat, and kid friendly. I currently work through a local animal shelter so my hours tend to change from week to week, but I tend to be extremely flexible! Let me know your needs and I can plan accordingly! I see my clients animals just as my own, I would want my babies to be extremely well taken care of and all of my boxes checked, ducks in a row! So I understand clients wanting the same. I will be just as diligent with your fur babies as I am with my own, because I wouldn’t expect anything less.

I typically do potty breaks at minimum every two hours and provide walks one to two times daily, adjusting the length based on each dog's energy level and preferences. Fresh water and food are always available unless you specify otherwise. I keep my own dog separate from visiting dogs unless they've had time to become familiar with each other, which helps everyone feel more secure.
