About: My mother is a veterinarian with her own practice, so I grew up around an abundance of animals and know plenty about caring for them. My career allows me to choose my own schedule, I don't usually have shifts longer than 5/6 hours long. This allows me to take dogs out for walks or to a dog park, or I can just go home and hang out with my cat. I have a large fenced in yard with access to woods, plenty of local trails for dog walks, local lake of your dog likes to swim. Dogs and cats in my home, but there's a good sized guest bedroom that is kept closed of from the rest of my home if you have a pet that is less friendly with others.

I currently have a 5 y/o black lab who is attached to my hip and loved “working” with me at the fire station just about every shift since I snatched her up. I am married, retired and moved to VT a couple years ago. In between working on the house I have lots of free time and now finally opening slots for some new clients. We have a nice big, clean, safe, smoke free home set on 40 acres with no kids or distractions. We are set on 40 acres in a historic old mill with a brook, private hayfields and trails to explore. Your pup is getting mostly constant care while they are with me. They are not just left alone like with many other sitters or in a sketchy kennel. My dog hangs out with me like family all the time. Your pup will just be joining our pack. They have lots of acess inside and and plenty of room to play and relax. All dogs and people only drink filtered well water here and its always available and fresh. I have the ability to separate if anyone needs a break. Crates are welcome and encouraged for stays. I have a medium to large crate available if needed. About: I'm a responsible, communicative, and kind graduate student with over a decade of experience caring for dogs. I've worked with rescue pups and dogs of all ages—from 8-week-old puppies to 13-year-old seniors. I treat every dog like my own, with patience, love, and lots of attention to their unique needs. My current schedule is very flexible, and I will be in town for most of the summer so I can hang out with your pup whenever! Once the fall starts, I’ll be in classes again but will have flexibility throughout the day and particularly on the weekends. Your dog’s safety and comfort is my utmost concern! I completely understand that your dog is like your child, so you want to make sure that they are safe and in the best care possible. Because of that, I will defer to your rules about where your dog can go, when they can be off leash, etc. You know them best, and I trust you!

About: I am a current medical student in the area who has had dogs around her for her entire life. I have experience with small, medium, and large dogs of all breeds. About: Hi! I’m Jill and am very experienced with doggos! I work full time in dog rescue and am looking to take on rover clients to help support that work. I have experience with all ages/sizes/breeds/temperaments! I am certified in Animal Behavior Management and love catering your pet’s activity and enrichment to their personality. Before working in dog rescue, I was a wildlife biologist for 10 years and still very much enjoy spending time outdoors and hiking - especially with dogs! Before that, I worked at a doggy day care and veterinary clinic. Animals have always been a central part of my life and I take the responsibility of their care very seriously! I work in animal rescue which allows me a somewhat flexible schedule. If I have a pet booking, your animal’s needs will be my first priority! I care for pets in the way they would like to be cared for. I love getting to know an animal and catering my services to them.

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. Looking to get my own, but in the meantime, would be excited to watch yours. I have plenty of toys and treats and I’m happy to do anything that makes you feel comfortable to keep your furry friend happy! I currently work at Dartmouth Hitchcock full-time which is why I typically can only watch during the weekend. My flexibility means I can also sometimes work remote. Depending on your preference, I’m sure we can work out something great. I am happy to do anything that makes you feel comfortable. I love to go for a walk, so I’m happy to take them down to the small park that we have. Or if they’re not much of a walker, I’m happy to sit and relax as long as they know how to pick a TV show.

About: My adult daughter brought home a pup 4 years ago and I have been forever changed. I now get the unconditional love thing. I want to be around animals more than I do people!!! SO I am relatively new at it but very enthusiastic and want to help the owners. For the summer, I wanted a little more freedom in my life so I am choosing to try pet care for three days a week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Currently, I am not available for weekends - although there might be an occasional weekend I might be available. I am happy to care for pets in your home and will adhere to all your guidelines!
