“My sister and I were heading to Stowe with our dogs for a ski trip when we found out the house wasn't dog friendly. Oh no! Luckily we found Gwynn who lives close to Stowe. She only takes two dogs at a time which was perfect for my dog and my sister's since they're best friends! Gwynn was great with initial introductions with my somewhat skittish dog and her dogs. We were in contact with her everyday with photos and a video of them frolicking in the snow. She always responded quickly via phone or text. After picking them up, our dogs ended up sleeping the entire next day from having too much fun. My dog in particular did not want to leave Gwynn's chickens! I would highly recommend Gwynn, especially if your dog needs personal attention, lots of exercise and outdoor time.”

About: I grew up around dogs my whole life as I have lived on a school campus! Dogs are something that I have always wanted, but never got the chance to have. The biggest thing that sets me apart is that I have plenty of love left to give to your pet! As a college student I have Friday-Sundays off therefor I have a lot of free time to play around with dogs! I also live with 7 other girls who would be more than happy to have a lil pup in town! I am willing to stay overnight at owners house if that is needed! If pets are to come to my apartment, they would have plenty of outdoor space to play around safely!

About: If my rates are an obstacle in caring for your pet then I’m happy to provide a sliding scale and have a discussion upon request. Professionally, I was vet assistant at an animal clinic before returning to farm animal work. At the clinic I learned the basics of animal health care and I learned how to properly handle dogs and cats. Throughout the last twelve years I’ve farm-sat and pet-sat for numerous friends and family members! In the last year I worked at a doggy daycare and worked groups of 11-12 large dogs. I also worked in group of 15+ small dogs and "solos" (highly dog aggressive dogs). Working in that environment took me to the next level of understanding cues and dog behavior. I learned to advocate for dogs, look for health and safety warning signs and how to manage group dynamics. I am currently a *human* nurse and making time for animals because that is where I feel I really come alive. :) I believe that animals are part of the family and I will treat them like so. I have basic experience with dog training and I personally believe that dogs thrive in structured and predictable environments. I love exercising and having fun with dogs, too! I have availability to help you with your pup or cat! Depending on the health of your pet I will socialize and exercise your pet's body and mind and of course offer any snuggles that are welcomed. I love exercising animals as much as it is tolerated by them. I currently work per diem as a staff nurse in Lebanon NH which gives me a lot of flexibility to care for pets. About: I have always had multiple pets, dogs and cats. I currently have a black lab named bear and a black cat named Rosie. I also have house and babysat for a number of families. I love hanging out with animals and am known to be super attentive and responsible. I work part time in the summer and often either work a morning or night shift, not typically all day and have time to play with your pups! (Or cats) I will be sure to spend ample time with your dogs outside either within a fenced area or on a leash and will make sure your house and pup are left the same way I found them.
About: Hi there! I am 30 and I live in Springfield, VT and work in WRJ. So my radius is quite large. I have a 6 year old golden pup (as seen in photos) named Burton and also take care of my in laws cat, Middy. I grew up in Vermont on a small farm with 3 dogs (Pitbull and labs) and 2 cats. I currently have a pup, Burton. Who gets along with all dogs and people. Depending on your pets personality, I will be sure to be active with them. Our pup Burton gets 4 walks a day and typically goes for a swim once a day at a nearby kayak launch. I fully believe pets should have a significant amount of play + active time whether its a walk or drop in visit, they will have fun. I do work in WRJ from 8-5pm but I do have lunches available and we do have flexible time. I work a hybrid schedule MTW in office which is only 6 minutes from my house. I always do a walk at Thompson's Field in the morning, 1 mile walk at lunch, 1-2 mile walk at dinner and a simple walk late at night just before bed. My dog is super friendly and my roommate also loves dogs, so no matter what your dog should be preoccupied. If anything I have a large crate available to keep them safe.

“Kevin watched our pug for two days while we attended the Quechee Balloon Festival. He was incredibly flexible with our plans and let us stay out much longer than originally planned. Our pup had a good time, evidenced by the 2nd day when we dropped him off and he ran right to Kevin! The other dogs were a bit noisy and inquisitive but settled right down so it wasn’t a problem. Kevin sent a few photos and video which we much appreciated. If we were in the area again, I wouldn’t hesitate to leave our dog with Kevin once again.”

About: Besides working at a dog groomers business as a dog bather, I have had pets all throughout my life and absolutely love being around animals! I am currently working at SORO elementary school. I work 8-3 but am looking to add on pet-sitting again since I miss working with animals! In my own home, I treat my pets as if they are my children. For my cat, I spend a lot of time with her, give her treats and kisses and make sure to frequently clean her litter box. I give her the highest care that I can. I currently work a 9 to 5 remote job and have plenty of flexibility to meet you and your pets needs. I can house sit or do drop ins as needed with my schedule. I am the happiest when I am around dogs and enjoy playing with them! I have been the go to dog sitter for my friends and family for over 8 years. I have access to trails in my backyard and live and work in a dog friendly area. I love meeting new friends and having fun adventures around our gorgeous town.
About: My family and I have had cats and dogs my whole life. I cannot have pets in my apartment. But I would love to care for yours like they were my own. I’m available evenings and weekends. I Work full time. I can do overnight stays on weekends. I live in Vermont but and can go as far as Lake George. I don’t have pets. But I would be clean and respectful. I would make sure to follow any rules and guidelines to avoid any accidents. Safety is my priority above all.

After a meet and greet, Allison agreed to walk and feed Churro while I was out of town. She was responsible, accountable and also flexible with a last minute request. Churro seemed happy and well cared for upon my return. I will be calling on Allison again in the near future for help with walking and caring for Churro!”

“My sister and I were heading to Stowe with our dogs for a ski trip when we found out the house wasn't dog friendly. Oh no! Luckily we found Gwynn who lives close to Stowe. She only takes two dogs at a time which was perfect for my dog and my sister's since they're best friends! Gwynn was great with initial introductions with my somewhat skittish dog and her dogs. We were in contact with her everyday with photos and a video of them frolicking in the snow. She always responded quickly via phone or text. After picking them up, our dogs ended up sleeping the entire next day from having too much fun. My dog in particular did not want to leave Gwynn's chickens! I would highly recommend Gwynn, especially if your dog needs personal attention, lots of exercise and outdoor time.”

About: I grew up around dogs my whole life as I have lived on a school campus! Dogs are something that I have always wanted, but never got the chance to have. The biggest thing that sets me apart is that I have plenty of love left to give to your pet! As a college student I have Friday-Sundays off therefor I have a lot of free time to play around with dogs! I also live with 7 other girls who would be more than happy to have a lil pup in town! I am willing to stay overnight at owners house if that is needed! If pets are to come to my apartment, they would have plenty of outdoor space to play around safely!

Mellissa accommodated me with very short notice and was very gracious and helpful and made the process very easy for me. She sent me daily reports with photographs that made me feel at ease knowing Sugar was happy and being well cared for.
