About: My children and I absolutely love dogs, especially my 8 year old son. I work in the school system so we have the whole summer off to enjoy taking care of your pets! I live seconds from a walking trail so your pup can get plenty of exercise, love, and snuggles! I am available all summer long while school is out. July 1 through the end of August. I spend a few weeks teaching summer school- on those days I am home by 1 pm. Your pet will be safely cared for in my two bedroom apartment- with lots of snuggles, nature walks, and toys. I understand different dogs have different needs and I will cater to each pup as needed.

About: Hello! I’ve been professionally caring for animals since I was 12 years old and got my first dog sitting gig. Over the years, my family has had every kind of pet: horses, sheep, dogs, cats, birds, iguanas even! I find great joy in showing the animals I work with lots of love and guidance. I’ve trained my own and others' horses, dogs and cats over the years and it’s just the most rewarding experience. I work part time and mostly from home which allows me to be available all day to care for pets. I’m a big fan of a consistent routine with animals rotating stimulation (exercise, play, training or enrichment) meals, rest and balancing the three. I care for pets on my property which is almost entirely fenced in. I have professional kennels in a mixed use building with a residential portion attached. So I have the luxury of providing secure and roomy kennels with the addition of our cozy home area. I can take most types of pets and I’m especially suited to care for animals that do not do well in large boarding facilities, don’t do well with other pets or just want a more personalized, quiet boarding experience. I don’t believe it is always necessary to socialize dogs with dogs and right now that’s not something I do (unless they are boarding from the same owners). I focus on routine, a bit of training and connection with humans! I have a fenced in run where dogs can be off leash for playing, enrichment etc. I designed our kennels myself and had them custom built. Each stall is separated by concrete walls to provide a private and safe space. I chose mental fencing for the top of the partition and the door. I chose this instead of the plastic, glass or solid door options because it provides optimal airflow and allows them to see out. I also have private suites separate from that area.

About: Growing up on a farm, I’ve been working with animals for as long as I can remember! From hamsters to horses - I’ve cared for nearly any animal you can think of. I attended Norfolk Aggie, majoring in Animal Science. Since then, I’ve worked as a vet tech, grooming assistant, assistant trainer, and in multiple barns and kennels. Aside from caring for pets, I currently work from home on my fiancé and I’s business, and do freelance photography (always happy to get some cute pics!) Training is a massive aspect of pet care. It’s important to have a sitter that understands your goals, reinforces correct behaviors, and constantly works to improve. Aside from training, having expertise in many areas of pet care, along with having experience with many different species, breeds, and personality types allows me to confidently handle any situation. Not only do I offer top notch care - I’m a huge communicator! I send lots of updates and adorable photos. Sadie loved her and her girls, never looking back at us after that first day of drop off! About: I have had pets in my life since I was a baby. We have enjoyed a lab, standard poodle and currently a mini cocker spaniel poodle mix. I love getting outside and being active with pets. I am at home with my daughter most of the time and I enjoy doing side hustles like selling vintage clothing online and seeking out antiques. We get outside with our dog, Carl often and would love to get a chance to offer outside time and love to other pets on Rover too! I always approach pets slowly with care and love. They feel our energy big time and have so much to share with us when we give them the chance.

About: I’ve volunteered at Dakin so my expertise is felines. I have rehabilitated, fostered, trained, and socialized any type of cat or kitten. Believe me, they’re just like dogs. My partner and I are both on-call medical professionals so one of us is always home during the week days. I’m at home during the weekends studying for school. Our time is very flexible! It’s best to keep pets separated until a day or two if they come into my home and then there’s a meet and greet. Otherwise, a meet and greet is essentially a day before before entering into their domain.
