“This review is long overdue! I have been using Marissa for about a year now give or take for twice weekly drop ins. I have a senior diabetic pomeranian and a 3 year old highly energetic Border Collie and both of my dogs seem to love Marissa! We always get pictures of our smiling pups and it is clear they have a good time during the visit. Marissa is not only great with our dogs, but she is reliable, trustworthy, and will go the extra mile to accommodate bookings. We never come home to any accidents, and she is always kind enough to bring our packages in front the porch. About: I have been pet-sitting for about 3 years independently. I have 5 years of experience working in doggy daycares and about a year of experience as a zookeeper. I live on a farm so I have been caring for animals my whole life! I promise to treat your pet like my own. I currently work Wednesday-Friday at a pet daycare facility. About: It's my mission to be your pet's newest favorite human. I've been volunteering, rescuing and fundraising for Paws Cat Shelter in Putnam CT since 2017. I'm also their mascot appearing in many downtown events. If the cats only knew the lengths I go for them! I have five cats of my own (Penny, Bentley, Boober, Mokey and Wembley) and I'm a dog mom to Frank, a mini Aussie Shepard. I've done home and pet sitting for friends and co-workers and I know the importance of finding someone reliable and trustworthy to watch my own animals. I'm comfortable with giving meds, syringe feeding, poop scooping and litterbox digging. I work full time as a Financial Systems Analyst for EG America (Cumberland Farms) but my schedule allows for flexibility. Just give me all of the detailed instructions/routines (like, go full-on OCD, I can appreciate that!) and I'll take care of the rest. Very responsive and flexible regarding our plans, and patient and helpful! Then for the day of the walk she provided updates about our dog and I know they had a great time together! Our dog was in excellent spirits when we returned. We were nervous since we hadn’t had a walker come in years, but all fears were put aside with Rachel. Can’t recommend enough.
