“This was our first time using Rover for our 9 month old puppy Bo. Samantha is amazing!!! She took such great care of Bo! He arrived to her with a fear of stairs from slipping on a couple of steps recently. Samantha worked on his fear while he was with her. He is a little timid still, but since getting home yesterday from Samantha’s, he went up and down with no problem. She even gave us tips and tricks to use if he was reluctant. He enjoyed walks with Samantha and has a new friend, her dog Mac and got to enjoy playing with him. We were updated daily and I had no worries @ all while we were away. We will definitely use her again!”

About: I’ve been taking care of all different types of animals from lizards to ferrets to turtles and, of course cats and dogs since before I can remember! All of my life I’ve had and taken care of happy and healthy fur babies of my own that I treat with the utmost love, care, and attention so I’ll definitely treat your fur baby like my own as they should be treated. I’m currently a stay at home mom and I go to school online but outside of that I love taking care of my fur babies and other fur babies as well and have free time and availability to do so! My routine consists of starting the day at 7/8am and taking pup for walks, swimming, the dog park etc. and if you choose me for your pet sitter your baby (unless different needs must be met) will accompany us for a fun-filled day!🥰 I can do all day sits or overnight stays at your home. Or if you prefer me to do drop-ins to your home id be more than happy too! Whatever makes you and your precious fur baby happy.:) Note: I do have a 3.5 year old who usually accompanies me with my regular clients. If you choose me as your sitter this is good to note because I will only be able to be solo on some weekends. She has been around multiple different types of animals big and small since she was born. She is good with being gentle and knowing her boundaries but I recognize she’s still young so I can assure you constant supervision will be had for the safety of your fur baby and my baby. At my home, I also have a boxer who loves small dogs as well! They will be in great company. At your home, I will provide your pet and home with the utmost love and care. I will also be sure to provide you consistent updates to keep your mind at ease because I know how worrisome it could be leaving your fur babies behind and you want to be sure they are being taken care of. About: Hello! I’ve been caring for animals since I was 12 years old and got my first dog sitting gig. Over the years, my family has had every kind of pet: horses, sheep, dogs, cats, birds, iguanas even! I find great joy in showing the animals I work with lots of love and guidance. I’ve trained my own and others' horses, dogs and cats over the years and it’s just the most rewarding experience. I work part time and mostly from home which allows me to be available all day to care for pets. I’m a big fan of a consistent routine with animals rotating stimulation (exercise, play, training or enrichment) meals, rest and balancing the three. I care for pets on my property which is almost entirely fenced in. I have professional kennels in a mixed use building with a residential portion attached. So I have the luxury of providing secure stalls with the addition of our open more homey areas. I can take most types of pets and I’m especially suited to care for animals that do not do well in large boarding facilities, don’t do well with other pets or just want a more personalized, quiet boarding experience. I don’t believe it is always necessary to socialize dogs with dogs and right now that’s not something I do (unless they are boarding from the same owners). I focus on routine, a bit of training and connection with humans! I have a fenced in run where dogs can be off leash for playing, enrichment etc. I designed our kennels myself and had them custom built. Each stall is separated by concrete walls to provide a private and safe space. I chose mental fencing for the top of the partition and the door. I chose this instead of the plastic, glass or solid door options because it provides optimal airflow and allows them to see out. I also have private suites separate from that area.

About: Been taking care of dogs for 6 years now. Have had experience training two of my own dogs and taking care of them/walking them on my own. I also work alongside with my father (also named Luis ) who has been doing dog boarding for about 2 years now. Me and my father are very used to the behavior of dogs and comfortable with dogs no matter the size or the breed of your dog. I have always had a strong love and a passion for animals, especially dogs I am currently a college student looking to make a little bit extra money by taking care of dogs. If I cannot look after the dog, my dad also takes care of dogs and is always available Me and my father don't live in a very busy neighborhood so you don't have to worry about your dog being unsafe. We have a relatively big house and also have a park very close to my house with a big open field and fence for the dogs to run around in were I can walk your dog and play with them to keep them busy without the risk of them getting hurt. I also have many toys for your dogs to play with if you would like for me to have them get a more fun experience instead of just walking them.

About: I have had pets in my life since I was a baby. We have enjoyed a lab, standard poodle and currently a mini cocker spaniel poodle mix. I love getting outside and being active with pets. For boarding and daycare, pets are cared for in my home as part of the family. I have two very friendly chocolate Labs who enjoy being around other dogs. Because I do not have a fenced yard, all outdoor time is supervised and dogs are always kept on a leash for potty breaks and exercise. I also have two young children (7 months and 4 years old), so I only accept dogs that are comfortable in a family environment. I understand that every dog has different needs, and I’m happy to accommodate the owner’s preferences. Guest dogs can sleep in a dog bed or in a crate, depending on what they are used to at home. About: I decided to try letting a husky pull me on roller blades 27 years ago, and a bond was created that I am convinced was the greatest thing ever. I became an aspiring writer and began researching dogs, playing with them and loving them all the same. I understood that some people just had that dog thing, but I wanted to know why. Still working on my writing, and still researching, I started roller blading around Webster lake with a rescue puppy this past year. Some dogs would rather just sniff, and it's arguably the most incredible of dog traits. I have been an educator as a substitute and a paraprofessional, and enjoyed 20 years with a number of schools and institutions. Coaching tennis, track, and rock climbing, I love giving new experiences. As director for an adventure camp or as recreation games coordinator, I was able to incorporate a team into all the fun. Relying on the service industry for work, I have developed my communication skills in many fields. 3 years working for the May Institute with adults with severe disabilities gained me a humility not found elsewhere. In the Healthcare industry I found incredible individuals who just fit their calling, and you were better for being around them. The last 2 years I have traveled the state as a licensed pest technician solving homeowner problems, and keeping people safe. I enjoyed being a source of information, and health, and was careful to appreciate coming into someone's home and life. I'm currently planning on returning to school to attain my message therapy certification and utilize my background in health. I’d used the same dog-walker for three years, since first adopting Molly. She was a college student whose class schedule ultimately clashed with her dog-walking schedule, leaving me to find someone new. I interviewed several candidates, ultimately choosing Kala because she clearly showed an understanding of how best to interact with anxious rescue animals. Molly took to her quickly, so I’d say that Molly chose Kala! Kala has been great! She’s kind, patient, and understanding with Molly’s quirks. Molly seems to really love her, which obviously makes it easier for me when I have to be away from her. I would highly recommend Kala, particularly for those with very sensitive animals. About: I am athletic and have always grown up around animals. I work at a pet boarding/daycare facility that allows me to get additional experience. With that being said, I have handled several breeds including different diets. I have handled Yorkies to Mastiffs and love them all! Puppies are the show stoppers but tend to lose control at times so I am willing to work on standard obedience commands as well. About: My children and I absolutely love dogs, especially my 8 year old son. I work in the school system so we have the whole summer off to enjoy taking care of your pets!
