2. James & Mallory N.
“James and Mallory are two of the best pet sitters in this area! They are kind, patient and LOVE what they do. I never have to worry about my pup when I'm at work. They bring her for walks, to swim and play with her all day. The best part of all is just as I'm starting to miss my baby and wonder what she is up to, Mallory will send me a picture, update and/or video. Her timing is perfect; I think she knows exactly when I need the pick up!”

About: I've always had pets. Growing up we had dogs, cats, rabbits, sheep, goats, hamsters and fish. I spent a lot of time with my aunt's horses as well. One of my favorite things while at Umass was participating in the care of Alpacas on their farm. In 2010 I graduated with a B.S. in veterinary and animal sciences. I had rabbits through my later years of college and into my 20s. I rescued my two dogs when I was 23 years old as puppies and helped them live long lives despite their early trauma until they passed away from old age. Starting in 2020 we branched out into chickens and we now have about 30 chickens that I care for in addition to my 3 young sons. I no longer have any pets living in my home but there are neighborhood dogs around and I have the chickens in a run outside. Professionally I have been walking a neighbor's dog for about a year and a half and I have helped another neighbor with their dog as needed. I also care for my parent's dog when they're out of town and need to leave her behind. I am currently a stay at home parent so I can be available for services at my home most of the time. Weekend availability is more limited than weekday availability. Over the summer dog walking and visits at your home would be difficult with my 3 kids. During the school year I have morning availability for walks and visits on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays I have a small fenced in area in my yard if you prefer your pet to stay within a fenced area. I also have a stake I can put out in the yard with a long line that I can use for a little more freedom while playing. I can easily crate your dog if needed. If I am visiting your home I always make sure that doors are closed behind me before opening another one and leashes securely attached before taking a dog outside. I also make sure I've locked doors behind me when we're out for a walk so your home remains secure while you're not home.

15. Christopher & Kelsey H.
“Kelsey and Chris are great and take care of Charlie really well. They even help out by giving him his meds ahead of me getting there ti combat his motion sickness. Thank you for another great day.”
16. Daniella G.
About: I always loved and cared for dogs as a kid. As an apartment hopping adult I helped to take of the dogs for the rest of the family but could never have one of my own until I met my husband with Charlie in tow. I fell hard for Charlie and he reminded me of the genuine love I had for dogs in childhood. Sadly, we recently lost Charlie. So I have a lot of space and time to care for your pup. I would be excited to have the house full of fun again. I would be happy to take care of your doggo while you go do your thing. I work from home full time. I would be excited to have some company during the day and care for your pup. I’m used to being a “dog butler” throughout the day. I’d be excited to do it for your dog. Our home is in a beautiful wooded area of Dayville. The house is set back off the road. Yard is not fenced. I have lead in the yard for potty breaks. Couch surfing is allowed.
17. Lauren S.
“Lauren is my go-to pet sitter for my senior cat - highly recommended! As a veterinary technician, Lauren brings an unparalleled level of expertise and knowledge when it comes to caring for pets, especially those who need medications or have other special needs. When I'm away from home, I have complete peace of mind knowing that Lauren is taking care of my cat's needs and keeping an eye out for any health issues. She not only provides top-notch care but also takes the time to engage in activities that bring joy and stimulation to my cat's life, such as playing with his favorite toys or hiding treats around the house for him to find. Lauren is great about keeping me informed about my cat's well-being. She frequently sends updates via text, which is always a welcome reassurance when I'm working from afar. If you're searching for a pet sitter who will treat your furry friend like their own, look no further!”
