About: Hello! I’ve been professionally caring for animals since I was 12 years old and got my first dog sitting gig. Over the years, my family has had every kind of pet: horses, sheep, dogs, cats, birds, iguanas even! I find great joy in showing the animals I work with lots of love and guidance. I’ve trained my own and others' horses, dogs and cats over the years and it’s just the most rewarding experience. I work part time and mostly from home which allows me to be available all day to care for pets. I’m a big fan of a consistent routine with animals rotating stimulation (exercise, play, training or enrichment) meals, rest and balancing the three. I care for pets on my property which is almost entirely fenced in. I have professional kennels in a mixed use building with a residential portion attached. So I have the luxury of providing secure and roomy kennels with the addition of our cozy home area. I can take most types of pets and I’m especially suited to care for animals that do not do well in large boarding facilities, don’t do well with other pets or just want a more personalized, quiet boarding experience. I don’t believe it is always necessary to socialize dogs with dogs and right now that’s not something I do (unless they are boarding from the same owners). I focus on routine, a bit of training and connection with humans! I have a fenced in run where dogs can be off leash for playing, enrichment etc. I designed our kennels myself and had them custom build. Each stall is separated by concrete walls to provide a private and safe space. I chose mental fencing for the top of the partition and the door. I chose this instead of the plastic, glass or solid door options because it provides optimal airflow and allows them to see out. We currently do not have a stall suited for a climber! But accommodations can be made.

I also have 2 cats and a saltwater fish tank. I have my BS in Biology and love wild life. I’ve been relied on by family and friends to feed, walk, play their pups and I can’t wait to meet yours ! I am currently in a nursing program looking for ways to make money during my academic journey! I am available almost 24/7 and can take last minute requests. I’m familiar with crate training and spent months with a dog trainer learning how to manage different breeds. I have experience with a Dutch shepherd and I am comfortable with all dogs. I also have cats and have experience with very different personalities.

About: Veterinary technician for 9 years and counting. Used to handling all types or dogs with all different levels of energy. Can administer medication if needed. I am currently working part time due to the economy. Available for whole days that may change weekly. Able to do morning and night visits. All dogs will be closely monitored whether they be in a fenced in yard or on a leash. Safety is #1 of the utmost concern.
