We found Meg on Rover and even though it was super short notice she found time for a meet and greet and then we brought Aria into her spotless home just a few days later. Meg connected immediately with our Aria (and us 🥰) and she sent us lots of pics and video of Aria playing in the snow in her fenced-in yard and also at dinner time. We could see how happy and relaxed Aria was in her care. Meg had even told us if the weather was bad or we were delayed in some way not to worry - that Aria could stay the night if need be. We will DEFINITELY be using Meg again!! (She's now "Auntie Meg" 💕)”

About: I’ve been around dogs for most of my life—my own dog James came into my life when I was just 11 years old, and from then on, caring for animals became second nature. “We brought our Falco for daycare with Misael and we were so happy with the service!! Misael was super responsive and Falco seemed very happy to be there. Misael sent pictures and updates regularly. There was a nice yard and Falco was able to roam around to his heart’s content. Falco is a big boy and Misael and his family treated Falco like their own. We will be using his service again soon for overnight boarding and feel really comfortable with them. Thanks for making us feel like Falco is safe with you!!! Highly recommend!!”

About: Hello! I’ve been professionally caring for animals since I was 12 years old and got my first dog sitting gig. Over the years, my family has had every kind of pet: horses, sheep, dogs, cats, birds, iguanas even! I find great joy in showing the animals I work with lots of love and guidance. I’ve trained my own and others' horses, dogs and cats over the years and it’s just the most rewarding experience. I work part time and mostly from home which allows me to be available all day to care for pets. I’m a big fan of a consistent routine with animals rotating stimulation (exercise, play, training or enrichment) meals, rest and balancing the three. I care for pets on my property which is almost entirely fenced in. I have professional kennels in a mixed use building with a residential portion attached. So I have the luxury of providing secure and roomy kennels with the addition of our cozy home area. I can take most types of pets and I’m especially suited to care for animals that do not do well in large boarding facilities, don’t do well with other pets or just want a more personalized, quiet boarding experience. I don’t believe it is always necessary to socialize dogs with dogs and right now that’s not something I do (unless they are boarding from the same owners). I focus on routine, a bit of training and connection with humans! I have a fenced in run where dogs can be off leash for playing, enrichment etc. I designed our kennels myself and had them custom build. Each stall is separated by concrete walls to provide a private and safe space. I chose mental fencing for the top of the partition and the door. I chose this instead of the plastic, glass or solid door options because it provides optimal airflow and allows them to see out. We currently do not have a stall suited for a climber! But accommodations can be made.

About: I have taken care of animals for over 20 years, they bring me so much joy, I truly enjoy each and every one of them. I am currently working part time and I am looking to fill in my time with something I really enjoy, taking care of pets! 😊 I do not have a fenced in yard, however, I take the dogs out leashed and also for walks in my neighborhood or yours.😊I am very trustworthy, I can provide references if needed.

About: I’ve volunteered at Dakin so my expertise is felines. I have rehabilitated, fostered, trained, and socialized any type of cat or kitten. Believe me, they’re just like dogs. My partner and I are both on-call medical professionals so one of us is always home during the week days. I’m at home during the weekends studying for school. Our time is very flexible! It’s best to keep pets separated until a day or two if they come into my home and then there’s a meet and greet. Otherwise, a meet and greet is essentially a day before before entering into their domain.
