My husband and I are helicopter parents about our babies who have very specific and different needs including our boy cat who needs to be medicated and is a very picky eater. Lucas sent us very frequent updates on the state of our cat's appetite and how things were going. In the past, we have come home to find our cat has either lost weight or has liquid medication smeared on his fur from medication difficulties. When we came home our boy cat looked the best he's ever looked after such a long stay with a house sitter. We can tell our cats felt very at home and comfortable with Lucas. The house looks great, very clean and exactly how we left it. All and all, among the best rover experiences we've had! “We booked you months in advance because our first experience with you had gone so well, and we trusted you with our three dogs. We paid over $500 specifically so that our girls could remain comfortable in their own home while having someone stay with them. Finding out just one week before our vacation that you had forgotten about the booking and had scheduled your own trip was extremely stressful. We were fortunate to find someone else to cover part of the week, but arranging that so last-minute added a lot of stress right before we left. Then, during our vacation, finding out that the girls had been alone for more than 12 hours because you had a full workday of meetings was really heartbreaking for us. We completely understand that you have work and other responsibilities, but that is something we would have needed to know before booking. We specifically paid for house sitting because we did not want our dogs alone for that length of time. Coming home to a strong urine smell in their room and finding two small urine stains by the door made us feel even worse. We know accidents can happen, and that alone would not have been a major issue. It was the combination of everything that made us feel that the care we expected and paid for wasn’t provided. What makes this especially disappointing is that we trusted you because our first booking went so well. We genuinely thought our dogs were in good hands, and this experience changed that confidence for us. About: I took a very active role in caring for my family dog until he tragically passed from cancer in 2019. I have also dog-sat for neighbors’ pets with particular dietary needs. Currently, I’ve been told by roommates that I have a very calming presence with our house dog. I work part time primarily in the evenings and when not working, I often have community theater rehearsals on weeknights. During the Mizzou school year I will have some classes during the day, though for no more than a few hours at a time. My current house is not available for pet boarding unless specifically negotiated. The property has a non-fenced yard and one resident dog, who does behave well with other animals. Neighborhood is safe, well-paved, and walkable.

About: I've had extensive experience with various dogs, cats, and even reptiles. Im quick to learn and willing to figure out things with experience. Just show me how to do it and I'll follow accordingly I work all weekdays between 6-7 hours, which gives me a decent amount of time to handle the pets afterwards. If needed I can show up briefly during my lunch to let them out. I am relatively flexible As long as i am informed of the dos and donts of the household animals, I can be readily available. Medication, allergies, and other variables can be taken into account with the right amount of precaution and acknowledgement. Just let me know wha to expect.

About: I've recently sold my home in Holts Summit & am moving to Hallsville, MO. To all my customers over the last year, Thank you so much for entrusting me with the care of your fur babies. I've meet wonderful people & most of all, thier wonderful pets. Until I've settled in my new home, I won't be taking on the care of furbabies. The main priority is getting my yard fenced so I can do so in the future. For those of you who want to continue with my services, I would be willing to meet in Ashland for pickup & drop-off. For any new customers, this is only my 2nd year doing Rover but I have lots of experience with animals. Rabbits, horses even cows & rabbits but mostly dogs & cats. My home is a calm space & works best for older calm, mellow pets. I'm home for most of the day & they get lots of potty breaks. I hope to be available for bookings by end of August, early Sep. As of now I am no longer working & will be home for most of the day except for the occasional trip to the store I have a small fenced in yard for my pets to use I also have a room set up with additional pet beds a dog crate and potty pads for accidents. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life! I grew up with a mini dachshund and cared for him as he got older and became a senior pup. I’ve also cared for other senior dogs, and I have a special love for them, they deserve all the extra snuggles and attention. I also got a puppy when I was younger, so I know how to keep up with all that energy! With experience from puppyhood to senior care, I’m comfortable walking dogs, giving them plenty of love, and making sure they feel happy and safe. I recently moved to the area and I am looking for something to do. My schedule is pretty open and would love to fill it with pet care. When caring for a client's pet I always make sure to follow any rules the client has given me. I make sure they get plenty of love, attention, and snuggles while also keeping up with their feeding schedule, potty breaks, and walks.
