About: I took a very active role in caring for my family dog until he tragically passed from cancer in 2019. I have also dog-sat for neighbors’ pets with particular dietary needs. Currently, I’ve been told by roommates that I have a very calming presence with our house dog. I work part time primarily in the evenings and when not working, I often have community theater rehearsals on weeknights. During the Mizzou school year I will have some classes during the day, though for no more than a few hours at a time. My current house is not available for pet boarding unless specifically negotiated. The property has a non-fenced yard and one resident dog, who does behave well with other animals. Neighborhood is safe, well-paved, and walkable.
“Weston did a phenomenal job caring for our three pups while we were out of town. He sent multiple updates and photos every day. He went above and beyond in his care, even playing fetch and other games with our youngest dog to get some of her energy out. He was reliable and quick to respond from the start of the booking process (he also helped us out on short notice which was amazing!). We are so thankful for his care and cannot recommend him enough. About: I've recently sold my home in Holts Summit & am moving to Hallsville, MO. To all my customers over the last year, Thank you so much for entrusting me with the care of your fur babies. I've meet wonderful people & most of all, thier wonderful pets. Until I've settled in my new home, I won't be taking on the care of furbabies. The main priority is getting my yard fenced so I can do so in the future. For those of you who want to continue with my services, I would be willing to meet in Ashland for pickup & drop-off. For any new customers, this is only my 2nd year doing Rover but I have lots of experience with animals. Rabbits, horses even cows & rabbits but mostly dogs & cats. My home is a calm space & works best for older calm, mellow pets. I'm home for most of the day & they get lots of potty breaks. I hope to be available for bookings by end of August, early Sep. Thanks again for allowing me to be part of your babies lives. As of now I am no longer working & will be home for most of the day except for the occasional trip to the store I have a small fenced in yard for my pets to use I also have a room set up with additional pet beds a dog crate and potty pads for accidents. The room is especially set up for the dogs. My son-in-law and daughter also do Rover and I take care of their pets on a regular basis. I also take care of my son's dog on a regular basis
About: I've had extensive experience with various dogs, cats, and even reptiles. Im quick to learn and willing to figure out things with experience. Just show me how to do it and I'll follow accordingly I work all weekdays between 6-7 hours, which gives me a decent amount of time to handle the pets afterwards. If needed I can show up briefly during my lunch to let them out. I am relatively flexible As long as i am informed of the dos and donts of the household animals, I can be readily available. Medication, allergies, and other variables can be taken into account with the right amount of precaution and acknowledgement. Just let me know wha to expect.
About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life! I grew up with a mini dachshund and cared for him as he got older and became a senior pup. I’ve also cared for other senior dogs, and I have a special love for them, they deserve all the extra snuggles and attention. I also got a puppy when I was younger, so I know how to keep up with all that energy! With experience from puppyhood to senior care, I’m comfortable walking dogs, giving them plenty of love, and making sure they feel happy and safe. I recently moved to the area and I am looking for something to do. My schedule is pretty open and would love to fill it with pet care. When caring for a client's pet I always make sure to follow any rules the client has given me. I make sure they get plenty of love, attention, and snuggles while also keeping up with their feeding schedule, potty breaks, and walks.
“Lucas was such a wonderful find for our sweet pair of cats! My husband and I are helicopter parents about our babies who have very specific and different needs including our boy cat who needs to be medicated and is a very picky eater. Lucas sent us very frequent updates on the state of our cat's appetite and how things were going. In the past, we have come home to find our cat has either lost weight or has liquid medication smeared on his fur from medication difficulties. When we came home our boy cat looked the best he's ever looked after such a long stay with a house sitter. We can tell our cats felt very at home and comfortable with Lucas. The house looks great, very clean and exactly how we left it. All and all, among the best rover experiences we've had! Great communication, healthy happy pets, a clean home, what more could we ask for?”

About: I have had a dog or cat (or multiple!) in my home since I was a small child. I love to walk and experience nature through a dogs eyes, as well as rest and love on cats in the comfort of the indoors. My schedule is quite variable at the moment, which leaves me free for last minute visits with your fluffy friends! I am almost always free in the evenings if your pet needs someone to serve their dinner 🍽️ I aim to give your lovely four legged friend(s) the most compassionate care possible. About: I've been a technician assistant for 6 years and am a current 2nd year vet student. In clinics I was able to medicate and administer different treatments based on the doctors recommendation. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
