About: I have been dog-sitting for friends and acquaintances for the past couple of years. I am very accommodating and flexible. Whatever you need or request, I will do my best to fulfill it. My daily schedule gives me the flexibility to help you out anyway and anytime. I enjoy dogs of all sizes and attitudes. I work a very flexible day-to-day job that allows me to venture out and take care of your pet at most times of the day. I am also pretty flexible on days of the week and times of year to sit. I treat your pets as if they were my own. I do my best to make space for pets to choose whether they want attention or to be left alone, and try not to force contact. I also look to socialize the pet as much as I can fit in my strategy whether that is being present, going on walks, or letting them outdoors.

“Lucas was such a wonderful find for our sweet pair of cats! My husband and I are helicopter parents about our babies who have very specific and different needs including our boy cat who needs to be medicated and is a very picky eater. Lucas sent us very frequent updates on the state of our cat's appetite and how things were going. In the past, we have come home to find our cat has either lost weight or has liquid medication smeared on his fur from medication difficulties. When we came home our boy cat looked the best he's ever looked after such a long stay with a house sitter. We can tell our cats felt very at home and comfortable with Lucas. The house looks great, very clean and exactly how we left it. All and all, among the best rover experiences we've had! About: During my time in a Service Fraternity at my university, I volunteered at Animal Care and Control of St. Louis on a weekly basis. The time I spent working here allowed me to gain crucial skills needed for understanding and working with animals. I have also spent time watching cats and dogs for friends while they off on vacation! I start medical school in August, but will have time to watch animals between study sessions and class. Currently, I am working part time as a science teacher at the middle school for summer school and am off at 1:30 pm, Monday through Thursday. Additionally, I have all of July off. I will not be providing boarding services. This is due to physical restrictions that will be imposed on the animal. I would prefer to house sit in a place where the animal is comfortable and less likely to be anxious.
