I’ve provided daily walks, multiple feedings, grooming, and basic training for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. In addition, I’ve done overnight stays, ensuring pets maintain their routine in a stress-free environment. I work from home during normal business hours with leniency in needing to step away during the day. Also willing to work from the pets home if WiFi is available! I tend to stay pretty flexible. Either way, they’ll be treated like my own pet which is very heavy on the cuddles, kisses and treats. My pup, Roxie, loves being outside- so if your dog loves it outside also then that’s where we’ll be! If they like to be a couch potato, that’s my spirit animal and I’ll make sure they’re all comfy and well veg it out together! Currently in my home there are 2 other pups also that are very friendly and 2 other people that also love animals! I do not have the set up for cats, as I don’t currently have my own but have had cats in the past and can also care for them. Familiar with litter boxes and giving medication to cats, also.

Depending on their energy level, we might spend our time going for a longer walk and playing, or we may simply relax together and keep eachother company. For cats, I understand that their needs can look a little different. A typical cat visit may include feeding, refreshing their water, cleaning their litter box, playing with toys, and giving them attention and affection if they enjoy it. Some cats are social and love having someone play with them or give them lots of attention, while others are more independent or shy and prefer to have someone quietly check on them and give them space. I’m comfortable respecting those differences and letting each cat set the pace. I would also be more happy to take care of other small tasks that help keep your pets comfortable while you're away, such as bringing in packages, taking your trash to the curb, or watering plants. If your pet needs medication or has a specific care routine, I’m happy to discuss their needs beforehand.

About: I have had dogs almost my whole life since I was 1 years old. They are all my favorites! I have taken care of puppies through elderly. I have had dogs with seizures and one who only walked in left circles after a stroke. I have had dogs who lost their ability to control their bladder and dogs who needed help getting off the bed. I love them all and my life is better because they were in it! I work till 3:30-4 pm Monday through Friday in education. I am free many weekends a month. I am happy to do a drop in or two in the evenings and more with longer stays on weekends. I am not always available for last moment notice on weekends but will do my best to be available with a couple days notice. In your home I will follow what ever procedure you instruct. It is your home and your animal. Trust and consent is the most important part of the relationship. I am good at meeting expectations and will always strive to exceed them for your animal. You are the best they could hope for, I want you to feel confident they are just as cared for when they are with me.

About: I took a very active role in caring for my family dog until he tragically passed from cancer in 2019. I have also dog-sat for neighbors’ pets with particular dietary needs. Currently, I’ve been told by roommates that I have a very calming presence with our house dog. I work part time primarily in the evenings and when not working, I often have community theater rehearsals on weeknights. During the Mizzou school year I will have some classes during the day, though for no more than a few hours at a time. My current house is not available for pet boarding unless specifically negotiated. The property has a non-fenced yard and one resident dog, who does behave well with other animals. Neighborhood is safe, well-paved, and walkable.

About: I have worked in professional pet care for 4 years and have been watching neighbors dogs for the past 2 years. At doggy daycare I have worked with all sizes and ages of dogs and am comfortable with all of them. I am currently and student at The University of Missouri but am still able to come to your house to watch your pet. I can stay at your house during the week or weekend, my classes schedule is pretty full so it might be harder for me to be at your house during the week day but my weekends are typically open and we might be able to work out a schedule for the weekdays! I have three dogs at home that I am very used to taking care of as well as my cat. I can follow your pets schedule so there is no difference in your care and mine.

About: I’ve worked with dogs in many various professional environments: specifically KC Dawgs training facility, dogtopia and camp bow wow daycare and boarding facilities, and even the petsmart grooming salon. I have loved every single job I’ve had with animals and am in good standing with all of them after having to move to Columbia for college. I also have a good amount of experience with working dogs as I volunteer and shadow the MO TF1 search and rescue canines at least once a month! I have a ton of experience with animals who might have physical disabilities or need extra care. The white aussie in my profile picture was partially blind and completely deaf. I got to work with him for a 1-2 week board and train! I’ve taken care of countless breeds with various different exercise needs and food varieties. I am also the president of the Canine Sports Club at my school! When students here need help with their dogs (we are a pet friendly school), I am usually the first person they ask. I also volunteer for a program called Retrieving Freedom which allows me to help train and raise psychiatric service dogs. This is a program that meets once a week. My own dog (Tara, 5) is being trained on the scent of a low blood glucose to work towards being my service dog (diabetic alert). So we train on scent multiple times a week. My dogs get supplements, meds, potty breaks, play dates, training outings, and grooming sessions multiple times a week. My pets at home are all kennel trained, potty trained, and general house trained. I have a puppy who has higher energy and needs more supervision, so he gets naptimes up in his kennel more often than my 5 year old girl. The puppy is on hip and joint supplements which he gets with his breakfast. All my dogs eat out of slow feeders and wait to eat until they are released. This helps with impulse control.
