About: Hi, I have experience working with all types of animals including cats, dogs, and horses. I offer training, walking, and sitting and have an Animal Behavior College Certification. This is my side job while I work part time as a farrier. I have my own dog (husky/shepherd mix) that I absolutely adore and joins us on walks and house sitting occasionally when okay with the client. I know how important it is to have someone trust worthy to take care of your pets while you are away from home. I am currently working part time between other jobs. My schedule is relatively flexible throughout the week so I can work with your schedule as needed. I have my own dog (husky/shepherd mix) so, I know how important it is to have someone reliable and trustworthy along with consistent exercise and play time.

“After our last sitter of several years moved, we reached out to Faith, and man what a great sitter she is! Attentive to our kitties and our home, communicative, and sends great pictures of the kitties to top it off 😁 Will definitely book again if she’s willing! 😊”

“Christy is the best! She was so kind and professional while watching my cat, Elvis, while I was away on a work trip. Elvis has been anxious following a recent move but warmed up to Christy quickly- even greeting her at the front door! I really appreciated her regular updates on how he was doing and quick responses to any questions. It was so nice to know my cat and home were in good hands while I was away. Highly recommend booking with her!!”

About: My family has owned various animals from the time I was four years old. I have owned and trained two dogs of my own. One of my dogs was a rescue and one of the most challenging pets I've ever owned, but I loved finding ways to build trust. It was the most rewarding relationship. My greatest asset is having empathy and understanding animal non-verbal communication. I am currently a stay-at-home mom with two perfect girls. We have some help with childcare to allow me to go back to school and start work again. My schedule is very flexible. Just like my children, your pet's safety is my primary concern. I follow instructions very carefully and will report any concerns I have. I follow Rover's advice on how to keep pets safe and prevent them from escaping!

“Carol was great with Rosie and took perfect care of her while we were gone. I definitely will hire carol again in the future to watch my dog Rosie. Very professional, and experienced.”

“We highly recommend Rachel! She was professional, responsive and knowledgeable. She shared some knowledge about cats that we didn’t know that helped us with one of our finnicky eaters. She quickly responded to a last minute request when we were faced with travel delays and had to delay our return home by a day. Gave us peace of mind knowing our girls were taken good care of!”

“Overall Nichole was amazing. This was the first time my fiance and myself left for more than a night, we were nervous but we felt comfortable with them being in Nichole's hands and we were more than right. 10/10 will be using Nichole again the next time we leave.”

“Chris is wonderful and is very attentive to your fur babies needs. You will get photos and details of the visit which gives you assurance your pet is well taken care of.”

Ive made it a priority in my life to ensure that pets are living a good, happy, and healthy life style by being active and having fun. I pride my self in my ability to interact and socialize with all types of breeds and i make it my goal to keep them safe and living a great and fulfilling life. My family has always been big in fostering and rescuing both cats and dogs, providing all the care that they need, and finding them new and loving homes. “Tana was great with my cat! She sent me pictures everyday and I felt that Kitten was well cared for while I was gone. She also cleaned up the litter in my bathroom that Kit had gotten everywhere without me asking! She was awesome.”

About: I have experience working in an animal hospital, so I will make sure you have the best care for your dogs. I'm very active so I can take them on walks or runs anytime they’d like. We also love playing at the house too. My schedule can be flexible with availability all through the week, just let me know and I'll make time for your dog :) Dogs deserve the best care and I promise I will give them that while you are away. I work fully remote, so my schedule can be flexible around what you/your dog needs. I have one dog of my own and my day is usually formed around her needs throughout the day. I’ll ensure your pup is given the same priority :) I have one medium sized dog myself who loves playing while also relaxing on the couch. I don’t have rules for dogs being on furniture or where they can play with toys. I like to give a fun environment for them at all times.

About: Just the sight of dogs makes me so happy. I have raised medium to large dogs and cats my whole life, and my little family loves both too. Even my dog snuggles kitties. I am honest and trustworthy. I would never disrespect a pet or client. Many have left their pups with us before. I’m happy to send pictures. I have a flexible work schedule and my husband is often home too. If we are not home, dogs who may chew, need to bring a crate. But the longest we wouldn’t be home is usually a half work day. I have an acre of land with no fence, so we use a vibration Halo collar. You must be comfortable with that. We have deer and bunnies who visit. Dogs will be able to go outside quite often most times. We are awake early, don’t mind bed/couch cuddlers, and don’t mind a playful dog.

Amanda T.
“Amanda Thomas would be an awesome dog sitter/walker. She has always been a dog lover and she has a very sweet dog at home in St. Louis who she misses very much when she is away at college in Springfield. Amanda is studying to be an Occupational Therapist and hopes to incorporate therapy dogs into her work someday. She actually worked in a vets office while in high school and also a few summers at Grants Farms. She currently works part time a Cox Hospital but I know she would like a few more work hours and what better way to make a little extra money for school than taking care of dogs. Amanda is also into fitness and would love to play or walk dogs in her spare time. It would be a perfect win/win...people who need help with their pets would get a very loving, responsible dog lover to look after their dogs and Amanda would get a little extra money for school while doing what she loves to do...having fun with dogs! You will not regret hiring Amanda...she will be great at this!!! Debra Dildine”

Woodland Park cat parents share their Rover experiences
Kaye is the best! She was extremely patient with our dog who is anxious and not friendly with new people. But we developed a way for her to watch him and share space safely. Slowly he warmed up to her and by the end of the week she was able to pet him and he trusted her. It was amazing to see! I’m glad we found her! She was just great all around and communicated with us everyday which we were desperate for because we missed out three little animals so much. She loves dogs and cats. We appreciate her so much! Highly recommend!! 🐾✨
