About: Animals have been a lifelong passion of mine, and that love eventually led me to a career in wildlife biology and conservation. I grew up with both cats and dogs and see them as members of the family! I began caring for family pets at age 8, and pet sat for neighbors, family friends, and clients in High School and college. After college, I worked seasonal field jobs as a wildlife biologist and pet sat in between field seasons. I adopted my dog Abby -- a sweet, social Black Lab Pitt mix -- 11 years ago and trained her using positive reinforcement, play and consistent socialization. While I'm not a certified trainer, I do have some hands-on experience with dog training and behavior support. I've cared for pets of all ages and needs -- from energetic puppies and kittens to senior cats and dogs with mobility issues. I'm also experienced with administering medication (pills, oral syringes, and injections) and have supported post-surgical recovery and physical therapy for dogs recovering from CCL tears and tumor removals (Abby has been through both). I look forward to caring for your cat or dog as if it were my own! I am currently available to pet sit full-time and have a flexible schedule Monday through Sunday. In your home: I will meet your pet where they are at depending on their age, energy levels, comfort and mobility. About my home (Doggy Daycare currently paused): I live in a cozy 3-bedroom 1,000 sq ft bungalow on a fully fenced double lot -- perfect for pups to play, explore and relax safely. My neighborhood in Wyandotte has lots of walkable, dog-friendly routes, and we love getting outside. There are lots of durable, safe dog toys on hand (approved by Abby, the Toy Destroyer), as well as extra dog beds and cozy blankets for lounging. I am flexible and happy to make adjustments in my home to ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. My husband works from home a few days a week, but will be in his office and will not be assisting with pet care. I will be fully available and present with your pet.

About: Since I was about 15 I've been watching, walking and caring for pets for family and friends. However I've had pets of all kinds my whole life, from dogs to geckos I'm well versed in a variety of animals pet care. I am a full time worker 6am-2:30pm every week day, and the occasional Saturday shift. I am also a college student but a majority of my classes are completed online, so it won't take up much of my availability. As long as I'm informed of any rules you have about your pets, I will follow them to a T. I will care for nothing more than your pets care and safety while you're away.

About: I am my sister's go to person to watch her baby when she is out of town. I have experience volunteering at the Dearborn animal shelter and walking the dogs there! I have a very flexible work schedule, but I would need about 2-3 weeks notice if I need to take any time off from work I will give your fur babies lots of love and treats, only if the owner is okay with treats. I'm very good at following instructions having experienced with my sister's dog, who has a few health problems. I love when there is written instructions of how you would want me to take of your fur babies

About: I lived with a husky and a daschound for a couple of years recently with family and it was a lot of fun and great experience. I had small dogs growing up and I love large dogs too. I am very capable, reliable, and compassionate with both dogs and cats! I have extra time this summer, with more open availability than usual. I would love to help routinely (weekly or otherwise) with anyone that leaves their pets home alone a little bit more than they would prefer ideally! I have a larger space with an extra room, so I can temporarily take in at least two animals at my place if need be.

About: I was 5 or 6 years old when my first cat had her babies in my stuffed animal filled crib. I helped look after her and her babies and watch her be a mother when I was just a baby myself. I attended puppy training with my family's golden retriever and learned about the psychology and caretaking of dogs as a teen. She was never fixed and had a period, and later had a tumor that had to be bandaged daily. I've owned and cared for dogs and cats my whole life- bathing, grooming, walking, medication dispensing, feeding, loving. I have a senior dog and my brother's senior cat currently. I'm currently a caretaker for my grandmother. She has help in the day and evenings so I have plenty of time for dog walks and drop-ins afternoon and evenings. I'm available for house sitting on the weekends; weekdays can be arranged with notice. I let new animals explore their curiosity and get to know me first. My dog is an anxious girlie so I know it can take some time to earn trust and feel safe. I'm patient and let them lead.

About: My family dog of 14 years just passed away 2 years ago. I helped care for him my whole life, and knew I was ready for my own! I now have my own pup named Blaze and he is my life. I love animals, and cant wait to meet so many more pups( and kitties) :) I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to go on long walks with dogs, or drop in several times a day to your home if that’s what your furry friend needs! I have a 6 month cavapoo pup who is full of energy. Long walks and lots of play time is a must for my pup! I can’t wait to offer other dogs the same.
