“Gabbie was a great dog and house sitter! We were out of the country for ten days and I felt fully comfortable having her stay in our home and watch our dog. We came home to an immaculate house and happy pup. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for pet care in the Ann Arbor/Ypsi area.”

“Salina is a great sitter. We have such peace of mind when she watches Teddy. Teddy loves her and gets so excited when she comes over. Salina is so patient and makes sure our very anxious pup is happy and comfortable!”

“Ally was absolutely fantastic! She kept in close contact with us, sent photos, and made us being away less stressful. We will definitely use her again, and recommend her to anyone who looking for an awesome house/pet sitter. We would give her 10 stars if we could!”

“Nichole was absolutely amazing! She was very responsive and sent me pictures of my pets every day and it is obvious that she truly cares for animals. She went above and beyond for my family and if we ever need a sitter again we will hope that Nichole will be available again! Highly recommend!!”

“Lissa took care of our dog & cat while we were out of town. She messaged us daily with how they were, including pictures. Lissa also stayed at our house while we were gone. The house was just as clean as we left it!”

About: Animals have been a lifelong passion of mine, and that love eventually led me to a career in wildlife biology and conservation. I grew up with both cats and dogs and see them as members of the family! I began caring for family pets at age 8, and pet sat for neighbors, family friends, and clients in High School and college. After college, I worked seasonal field jobs as a wildlife biologist and pet sat in between field seasons. I adopted my dog Abby -- a sweet, social Black Lab Pitt mix -- 11 years ago and trained her using positive reinforcement, play and consistent socialization. While I'm not a certified trainer, I do have some hands-on experience with dog training and behavior support. I've cared for pets of all ages and needs -- from energetic puppies and kittens to senior cats and dogs with mobility issues. I'm also experienced with administering medication (pills, oral syringes, and injections) and have supported post-surgical recovery and physical therapy for dogs recovering from CCL tears and tumor removals (Abby has been through both). I look forward to caring for your cat or dog as if it were my own! I am currently available to pet sit full-time and have a flexible schedule Monday through Sunday. I will update my availability regularly in my profile, to ensure it is up-to-date. Pet parents can text or call me at any time to check-in and I will happily provide text and photo updates. In your home: I will meet your pet where they are at depending on their age, energy levels, comfort and mobility. I will provide them with affection and will encourage them to move their bodies with some play time or a walk. About my home (Doggy Daycare currently paused): I live in a cozy 3-bedroom 1,000 sq ft bungalow on a fully fenced double lot -- perfect for pups to play, explore and relax safely. My neighborhood in Wyandotte has lots of walkable, dog-friendly routes, and we love getting outside. There are lots of durable, safe dog toys on hand (approved by Abby, the Toy Destroyer), as well as extra dog beds and cozy blankets for lounging. I am flexible and happy to make adjustments in my home to ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. My husband works from home a few days a week, but will be in his office and will not be assisting with pet care. I will be fully available and present with your pet.

About: With over 20 years of experience caring for all kinds of animals, I provide loving, personalized care that keeps pets happy and safe. I offer boarding at my home, in-home visits, and dog walking—one of my true passions! I also love sharing photos so you can see your furry friend enjoying every moment. Your pet will feel loved, comfortable, and right at home with me. 🐾💛 💜 🩵 I will have plenty of time to care for the pups as my schedule is very flexible!! I look forward to spending time with them too:) I have a very larger fenced in yard that is double fenced and there is a various parks by my house where I can walk dogs. I also have a built in security system in my house as well as security cameras.

“Marissa was great! She came right on time and answered any questions we had. Our puppy is a handful so we were worried about leaving him but we felt so much better knowing she was taking care of him.”

“Cheyenne was awesome! She was prompt on short notice and seemed to know her stuff. We felt very comfortable leaving Bella and our home with her. She sent updates and plenty of pics (which I really appreciate). Bella got meals on time and walks and cuddles. I will be using Cheyenne in the future, no question.”

About: Since I was about 15 I've been watching, walking and caring for pets for family and friends. However I've had pets of all kinds my whole life, from dogs to geckos I'm well versed in a variety of animals pet care. I am a full time worker 6am-2:30pm every week day, and the occasional Saturday shift. I am also a college student but a majority of my classes are completed online, so it won't take up much of my availability. As long as I'm informed of any rules you have about your pets, I will follow them to a T. I will care for nothing more than your pets care and safety while you're away.

“Chelsea was great! She kept us informed and sent us pictures during her stay. Even cleaned up after our stray kitty we feed. The house was in order when we got back as well. We will definitely have her back again!”

About: I am my sister's go to person to watch her baby when she is out of town. I have experience volunteering at the Dearborn animal shelter and walking the dogs there! I have a very flexible work schedule, but I would need about 2-3 weeks notice if I need to take any time off from work I will give your fur babies lots of love and treats, only if the owner is okay with treats. I'm very good at following instructions having experienced with my sister's dog, who has a few health problems. I love when there is written instructions of how you would want me to take of your fur babies

“Melissa took great care of our dog while we were out of town. She sent updates to keep us in the loop, including pictures, which we really appreciated. Melissa was kind and patient with our older dog, who needed a little extra TLC due to her age. Thank you Melissa for being so reliable and helpful!”

“Kim did a great job taking care of my 3 dogs with very different personalities and needs. She gave meds, sent pictures and updates. My house was clean and tidy when I came home which was highly appreciated. I recommend Kimberly to anyone looking for a dog sitter.”

About: I lived with a husky and a daschound for a couple of years recently with family and it was a lot of fun and great experience. I had small dogs growing up and I love large dogs too. I am very capable, reliable, and compassionate with both dogs and cats! I have extra time this summer, with more open availability than usual. I would love to help routinely (weekly or otherwise) with anyone that leaves their pets home alone a little bit more than they would prefer ideally! I have a larger space with an extra room, so I can temporarily take in at least two animals at my place if need be.

About: I was 5 or 6 years old when my first cat had her babies in my stuffed animal filled crib. I helped look after her and her babies and watch her be a mother when I was just a baby myself. I attended puppy training with my family's golden retriever and learned about the psychology and caretaking of dogs as a teen. She was never fixed and had a period, and later had a tumor that had to be bandaged daily. I've owned and cared for dogs and cats my whole life- bathing, grooming, walking, medication dispensing, feeding, loving. I have a senior dog and my brother's senior cat currently. I'm currently a caretaker for my grandmother. She has help in the day and evenings so I have plenty of time for dog walks and drop-ins afternoon and evenings. I'm available for house sitting on the weekends; weekdays can be arranged with notice. I let new animals explore their curiosity and get to know me first. My dog is an anxious girlie so I know it can take some time to earn trust and feel safe. I'm patient and let them lead.

About: My family dog of 14 years just passed away 2 years ago. I helped care for him my whole life, and knew I was ready for my own! I now have my own pup named Blaze and he is my life. I love animals, and cant wait to meet so many more pups( and kitties) :) I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to go on long walks with dogs, or drop in several times a day to your home if that’s what your furry friend needs! I have a 6 month cavapoo pup who is full of energy. Long walks and lots of play time is a must for my pup! I can’t wait to offer other dogs the same.

Miya S.

“Miya is very sweet, super reliable and great with my pup. She took the initiative to meet her prior to sitting so she was used to her. Highly recommend Miya!”

Erin F.
“Erin is something of an animal whisperer. Whether she is around dogs or cats, they instinctively feel loved and safe in her presence. It is almost as if they react by saying "OMG, where have you been all my life? I think I love you, and I know you love ME." Erin is gentle and kind with animals yet knows how to get them to do what she wants without using harsh methods ... ever! My 12-year-old cat, Lola, is extremely sensitive to everything and everyone, and she immediately bonded with Erin, and always looks forward to her visits, as if she is being bathed in love and warmth when sitting close to her. Lola is not a lap-kitty, and although she is madly in love with my husband, it has taken her 12 years to be comfortable sitting in his lap! She has been able to sit closely next to Erin without any discomfort. Erin knows to let Lola come to her, and meets her on her own terms. They get along beautifully! I give Erin the highest recommendation.”

Chelsea T.Star Sitter

Kevin T.
“Kevin has dogsat for my husky and mini dachshund many times over. He's flexible, considerate, walks them frequently, sends extra photos, and has also house-sat for 3 day weekends pet care coverage with security, frequent communication, and is not hesitant to ask questions if needed. He ensures they are excersized, have had playtime, and always have extra water. Kevin is reliable and adaptive to requests and I've seen him great with male and female dogs, cats, and even other exotic pets.”
