It was apparent I made the right decision on who I was leaving my dog with within a couple minutes of meeting George, he’s very well knowledgeable and clearly knows how to handle doggies! (my pup literally listened better to him then he does me ha!) It was obvious through the pics I was sent that my pupper Callaway had the best time while my boyfriend and I were out of town for the week! There’s plenty of room at george’s place for the pup to run around and play, which was priority since I have a very energetic dog! Callaway frequently experienced separation anxiety so it was such a relief to find a place for him to go where he feels comfortable enough to be his playful self! He settled in almost immediately and barely whined while he was left alone in his kennel there, which was very out of the ordinary for our dog. and now back at home he’s been wayy less stressed when we have to leave him alone to go to work! I think he built some confidence there for sure, which wouldn’t have been possible without him having that comfortable environment. About: I’ve had previous in home pet sitting experience watching a coworker’s ‘babies’. When they went on vacation I stayed with their pups for a few weeks and looked after them. I also tended to their plants and made sure to clean up around the house prior to them arriving back. The oldest dog had a specific soft food diet due to his bad teeth and the other needed frequent play, snuggle, and potty sessions because she was a smaller dog. They had a long-haired cat that I watched as well (which I found out I’m allergic to). I don’t mind taking care of cats as long as they are short-haired or hairless. I can also stop by to feed, walk, and let your dog(s) outside to potty. I’m available for dog walking and drop-ins weekly! I've done lengthier stays while pet parents have been out of town on vacation. Some previous clients also had a cat that I would take care of as well. I love to spoil animals rotten, so if I am stopping by to let out your pet(s) I will make sure they receive tons of love and treats!

About: I have been caring for animals since elementary school. I watched cats and dogs for neighbors and friends of the family. As I got older, I started getting referrals for pets from around the community and cared for those animals too. The arch of my kindness and care is not limited to animals, as I also provide care for the elderly. I cared for both of my grandparents and my father until his passing. I currently provide care and other services to a 104 year-old young lady who is believed to be my community’s oldest living resident and yes, she still walks and does not use a wheelchair. I am self-employed and have a very flexible schedule. I can care for your pet any day of the week (unless I have another pet scheduled for that day) and at times convenient for most people. I am here to follow your instructions and schedule without deviation. Your fur baby will be feed exactly at the time(s) directed by you, same with any medication(s). For dogs, I will take them outside for walks and indoor/outdoor play as weather permits, and see that their water is always fresh with some treats and cuddles too. For cats, it is play and more play; plus fresh water and treats, then snuggling when we are done.

At the age of 13 I was given my own puppy, which helped me understand the responsibility that it takes to care for animals. I pride myself in being a trustworthy and caring person, who loves to spend time with animals. I currently am in school for nursing so my schedule varies. I try to find free time every week to get outside and move, which is why I am looking for the opportunity to spend time with animals while I do this. I have found that animals tend to respond better to calm and collected persons, so I pride myself on staying calm under pressure. Many of the families that I have pet sit for in the past complimented my patience and caring nature.
About: I have taken care of dogs for years now. I am very hands-on with training my pups. I am very active and reliable. I like being up early and getting the day started. I have experience with very large breeds and tea cup breeds! At home I have a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy, and a German Shepherd. I enjoy all animals and animals usually love me. I do not mind the weather conditions of Michigan and have never called off from any job. I am good at communicating and if there is ever any issues I would ensure you know right away. I love other people’s animals like they are my own and would not have any issues with high maintenance, or dogs with medical needs. I have 2 rabbits that I care for daily, they are free-range and act just like cats! I care for every pet like they’re my own, keeping them safe, comfortable, and happy while following their normal routine. I always make sure they have fresh food and water, a clean space, and plenty of love and attention. “Before Kristin I had a hard time finding a boarder who would take my dogs and understand the quirks that came with them. Being two older boxers, they are quite a bit to handle at times, but she made them feel comfortable, happy, and safe. I had a bad experience with a boarder many years ago so I was quite weary on letting them be outside of my care, but Kristin made the process so easy! She sends pictures frequently to let you know how they are doing, and answered the many questions I had to ease my mind! “George is the best of the best! It was apparent I made the right decision on who I was leaving my dog with within a couple minutes of meeting George, he’s very well knowledgeable and clearly knows how to handle doggies! (my pup literally listened better to him then he does me ha!) It was obvious through the pics I was sent that my pupper Callaway had the best time while my boyfriend and I were out of town for the week! There’s plenty of room at george’s place for the pup to run around and play, which was priority since I have a very energetic dog! Callaway frequently experienced separation anxiety so it was such a relief to find a place for him to go where he feels comfortable enough to be his playful self! He settled in almost immediately and barely whined while he was left alone in his kennel there, which was very out of the ordinary for our dog. and now back at home he’s been wayy less stressed when we have to leave him alone to go to work! I think he built some confidence there for sure, which wouldn’t have been possible without him having that comfortable environment. Thank you George for your awesome services, 10/10 recommend and will 100% be back the next time we have to leave town! :)”
