Your pet/pets will be a part of our family for a few days. My teenaged son will assist with your pet's care. I have crates in the guest area if your pet needs quiet time. Our dog will remain outside if needed for the care of your pet. I have cared for hamsters and fish as well as dogs and cats. My family is allergic to cats, but I can check in on your cat in your home. I can walk your pet individually after they play with my dog. I can administer medications and have a separate sleeping area for your pets with or without a crate. My family and I are available to be with your pet in our home setting. Your pets will have a separate room with or without a crate during any short errands that I may need to run. My teenaged son will assist with the care of your pet/pets. Your pets will have individual attention during part of the day with walks on my quiet neighborhood circle. Feeding time will be individual as well. They will enjoy play with my dog during supervised play time in my fenced back yard.

“Samantha was a great find for our family! We have three dogs - an old lady beagle, a "covid baby" beagle mix, and an American Foxhound. All of them are incredibly needy and have measured meals (by weight), and special snacks we give them throughout the day. Because Lilly and Bella (our two youngest) have been with us nearly 24/7 for most of their lives, it is important that the person who pet sits stays the full night with them, and only leaves them for a few hours at a time during the day (they experience separation anxiety). Samantha did not disappoint! She stayed with them as much as possible, sent updates and photos to us, kept them happy, fed, and safe, and even let us know that Bella was experiencing some issues with one of her ears (gotta love beagle ears!). Samantha left the house clean, took out the trash, used the recycling container, and our babies were happy and healthy upon our return. She even asked to be kept updated on when we boarded the plane back to ensure they were taken care of in case we had last minute flight changes or delays. Crate & House Access Policy • Crating is standard when we are away or sleeping, and during rest periods. • Potty breaks are offered approximately every 2 hours during waking hours. • For older, calm, fully house-trained, non-destructive, and cat-friendly dogs, free-roam house access may be considered on a case-by-case basis with owner request and compatibility assessment. • Dogs with separation anxiety, destructive tendencies, or unsafe habits (counter-surfing, door-bolting, etc.) will remain on our structured crate schedule for their safety.
