I'm a stay at home type of person so I will be available 24/7. I will be available at all times for any pet care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I make sure each pet gets attention, playtime, and comfort so they feel safe while their owner is away. I also keep the home clean and respected, making sure everything is left as I found it. About: I was raised with dogs and have been affectionately referred to as “the dog whisperer” all my life. I have lots of experience with rescue animals because my family helps transport, foster, and support them. I have delivered newborn puppies, given flea treatments, and handled cats & dogs of all temperaments, abilities, shapes, and sizes. My calm confidence is a great comfort to the anxious hearts in my care. I look forward to meeting your family and learning all their lovable quirks! I live at home with my parents so while it is difficult for me to board animals at my house with my dogs, my parents are home and can care for our animals when I am gone. I petsit full time so most days it is just me and the animal(s) I am caring for. Depending on their regular schedule, I try to keep their daily routine intact. My house has a fenced in yard with a dog door to a screened in porch that my dogs love. If I am watching a social dog, I will check with the owners and invite them over to play. My house has seen many rescue transports and one of my dogs is a foster fail so my house is already chaos proofed. I usually prefer to keep up the owners daily routine by staying in their house and feeding their animals at the same time and in their usual spots. It is a comfort to not change everything about their environment while they are anxious. When I take them on a walks, I usually let the dog show me the way as they know the regular route by heart. If they are older and nap 10x a day or if they are energetic and play fetch 3x a day then that is what we do, it really depends on each family’s individual needs.

“Samantha was a great find for our family! We have three dogs - an old lady beagle, a "covid baby" beagle mix, and an American Foxhound. All of them are incredibly needy and have measured meals (by weight), and special snacks we give them throughout the day. Because Lilly and Bella (our two youngest) have been with us nearly 24/7 for most of their lives, it is important that the person who pet sits stays the full night with them, and only leaves them for a few hours at a time during the day (they experience separation anxiety). Samantha did not disappoint! She stayed with them as much as possible, sent updates and photos to us, kept them happy, fed, and safe, and even let us know that Bella was experiencing some issues with one of her ears (gotta love beagle ears!). Samantha left the house clean, took out the trash, used the recycling container, and our babies were happy and healthy upon our return. She even asked to be kept updated on when we boarded the plane back to ensure they were taken care of in case we had last minute flight changes or delays. Thank you SO much, Samantha, for taking care of our three fur babies. We love them so much and it was such a weight off our shoulders to leave them with someone trustworthy and caring. I would not hesitate to use Samantha in the future for our pets. Her love of dogs is evident and she visited twice before our trip to ensure she understood all care instructions. About: My experience comes from owning my own pets (goats,chickens,ducks,dogs,cats,bunnies,guinea pigs,hamsters) and petsitting (yes, even even horses, pigs, snakes and bugs). In previous years, I fostered for countless animal rescue groups and shelters, whether it was just volunteering or fostering puppies or senior dogs in need. I currently own a pitbull/lab rescue, Cali, who I trust with few people. I completely understand the anxiety when it comes to trusting someone new to watch over your pup. After each visit, you can always expect to find water bowls to be clean and full, leashes hung up and everything just as you left it except this time with a happy and tired pup! About: I’ve taken care of dogs basically my whole life. I have trained my own dog and of course taken care of her since she was a puppy. Family and friends trust me to pet sit their dogs. I specialize in tummy rubs and playtime! I am currently a highschool graduate, and I’m going to college in the fall. To all my clients: I am still able to petsit your fur babies when I come back down for breaks! I work part time at a restaurant, so my availability is flexible. I am free most afternoons but all nights! I have a fenced-in yard and one friendly dog to keep company. I also have a crate if needed for anything if needed. (I also have probably about 10,000 dog toys to keep your fur babies entertained 🤣)
