About: My experience comes from owning my own pets (goats,chickens,ducks,dogs,cats,bunnies,guinea pigs,hamsters) and petsitting (yes, even even horses, pigs, snakes and bugs). In previous years, I fostered for countless animal rescue groups and shelters, whether it was just volunteering or fostering puppies or senior dogs in need. I currently own a pitbull/lab rescue, Cali, who I trust with few people. I completely understand the anxiety when it comes to trusting someone new to watch over your pup. This is why I prioritize communication, forming relationships with both pets and parents, sending frequent updates and paying close attention to details/routines provided to me. After each visit, you can always expect to find water bowls to be clean and full, leashes hung up and everything just as you left it except this time with a happy and tired pup! Please reach out with as many questions as you'd like, I look forward to hearing from you! I have a dog of my own, so pet care is already built into my routine and something I look forward to everyday. I'm also available for last minute needs and do my best to be as flexible as possible as I understand plans can change :) How I care for your pet depends entirely on the instructions you give me, I strive to follow your directions as closely as possible to ensure you, your pet and myself all have a great experience that is as similar as can be to your routine with them. With that being said, each pet I care for is treated as my own and will have my full attention when I am with them.

About: I’ve owned and taken care of animals since I was a child. I have experience with dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, rodents, fish, reptiles, and amphibians. Started dog sitting/walking/training for my neighbors at age 10. Involved in volunteer and rescue work throughout the years as well. I’ll treat your furry and/or scaly babies just like my own! Willing to walk, groom (bathing/brushing/nails), play, do stop in visits, pet sit in your home, clean cages/tanks, and do light housekeeping. I also have experience with basic dog training. I can teach your pooch basic commands, such as sit, stay, lie down, and shake. I have experience with house training as well. I have a very open and flexible schedule. I am located in Rock Hill, and willing to travel within reason I currently work full time, but I am hoping that by using Rover I can change my schedule. I am hoping to pick up enough clients so that I can have a more flexible schedule. I am very courteous of other’s spaces and belongings. I will treat your home and pets just like my own, and I will always treat a client’s home with respect.

About: I used to work at the Human Society of York County! I’ve worked and cared for all types of animals! Working with animals is a life goal of mine! I am currently mostly available any time and any day! Over this summer my schedule is pretty flexible, although I may be out of town some days! I can stay for a while and play with pets or stay overnight if needed. However you need your pets cared for will be more than doable!

“Elizabeth is very communicative and will send you frequent updates and photos to keep you updated on your pets. During her time with my dogs, she had to deal with one doggo who wasn’t feeling well and as a result, he made a big mess and then with our fire alarm going off non-stop due to a lack of batteries… ooof. She handled both situations well, cleaning up after the dog, even replacing our fire alarm batteries, and keeping me updated on everything. She is very responsible and takes good care of the doggos!”

About: I am a dog mom to my 4 year old Lulu (black lab/bull dog mix). I also had a Great Dane and she was a big, gentle girl. I am reliable, a great communicator and will love your dogs like my own. I just moved to Rock Hill from Iowa and used Rover myself for my dog. I work full time from home. I have nights and weekends free so if you need me to take your dog(s) for a walk, coming over a couple times a day to let them out or pet sitting over night, accommodating your pets needs won’t be a problem. I will care for your fur babies as if they were my own. Keeping their regular routine and clear communication with the pet parents. I am looking forward to meeting you and your dogs.

“Maggie is awesome, my old man dog is very easy going but my hyper growing 8 month puppy I was worried about we had never left him with anyone , he loved her she spent time outside with him to make sure he got his energy out sent us pictures morning and night, when I came home my house was exactly how I left it which is hard to do with hairy children so I believe she swept my floor. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medication if needed, and any specific care preferences the owner provides. I make sure each pet gets attention, playtime, and comfort so they feel safe while their owner is away. I also keep the home clean and respected, making sure everything is left as I found it. I give regular updates so clients know how their pets are doing and can feel confident they are being well cared for.

About: I’ve spent over 10 years caring for my own dogs, Rosie and Snowy, raising Rosie from just 6 weeks old to the happy 10-year-old she is today. That hands-on, lifelong experience shapes the way I care for every pet I meet. I don’t just ‘watch’ pets, I build trust, routines, and real connections with them. I also have experience caring for cats and love them just as much as dogs. Every pet in my care gets personalized attention, dedicated playtime, and genuine companionship. I treat each animal like family, making sure they feel safe, loved, and never alone while you’re away. I work as a teacher during the spring and fall, so my schedule is open during the summer for pet sitting. The only conflict in my schedule would be if I’m taking care of another family’s pets :). I care for my dogs in my home with lots of love and dedicated play time. I walk them at a certain time each day, usually twice a day. I like to build the same sense of routine with both my cat and dog clients. I think it’s important that the transition between you, the family, and me is as smooth and seamless as possible. That way the only thing different in your house is me!
