“Our pup had the best time staying with Jessica and her fam!! She was absolutely fantastic, loved him like her own and sent us so many photos and updates. Loaf will definitely be back to stay soon!”

“Our boys loved staying with Julia and Dixie! They looked like they were having so much fun in the photo and video updates. Dixie is a sweet pup and handled the different energy levels of our dogs so well. Hank and Bodhi were worn out from playing all weekend and we could tell they got lots of love and attention while they were there.”

“Matt was fantastic with our 2 rehomed 80lb dogs. There seemed to be no issues with either the dogs adjusting to Matt or Visa Versa.. He was in contact with us continually with photos and updates- a nice home with a yard gor them to exercise- would recommend 💯%”

“Sarah was truly wonderful with our energetic Great Dane, and we will definitely be using her again. Our boy can be excitable and somewhat anxious, which didn’t seem to phase her at all. After sensing my own anxiety about leaving him somewhere new, she checked in frequently while we were away to let me know he was doing great. It was clear from the pictures and videos that our boy was getting lots of love and attention from the entire family, which made our vacation all the more enjoyable. She even took the initiative to wrap his leg when he begun licking at a sore. I would highly recommend Sarah.”

“Jill was a dream come true!!! We took the longest trip we have ever taken from our S’mores, and we were a bit worried because she has been suffering from a bit of older age anxiety. Jill was so wonderful with her and got to know her so well before our trip. She was super patient learning about S’mores and she sent such great daily reports! She was an awesome communicator! An added extra is her very lovely parents that showered S’mores with a lot of love and attention as well! Thank you so much, Jill!!!”

“Our two pups did great with Katherine and her family. They got a lot of loving and were spoiled for sure. They even slept in way longer than they do at home, so you know they had a good time while there. We'll use Katherine again in the future, as everyone seemed to have enjoyed themselves and Katherine kept us well informed complete with pictures.”

“She is always the BEST sitter . This is our second booking and the experience has been consistently outstanding. Excellent communication, thoughtful care, and a very happy dog every time. Highly recommend!”

“Carol was excellent. She catered to our Bichons Frisé ‘s special needs. It was our first time on Rover with Carol and she was amazing. Hope to continue bringing Ellie to Carol when we need her.”

“Great Rover with amazing fenced in backyard. Treated my girl like she was at home and even put rug runners out so she could easily navigate at the hardwood floors. Ellie was extremely happy! Will be booking again!”

“Our boys had such a great time with April, Chris and their family! They were so happy in all the video and photo updates. I could tell they got lots of cuddles and play time. It’s so nice to know our pups had their own little vacation while we were out of town. I definitely recommend them to anyone and will book again in the future.”

“Daniel is an amazing host! Champ is very clingy, but he feels so welcome and at home whenever he is there. I love the pictures and I always know he’s well taken care of! I would recommend Daniel a million times overnight”

“Stella was happy and had a great time staying with Audrey and Joshua. They took great care of her and I appreciated all the updates and pictures during her stay! We will definitely have them watch Stella again!”

“Mariya was wonderful! She took great care of our dog who had been sick, and our cat and both pets got along her adorable Shih Tzu Marie. She was very communicative and flexible! We knew our pets were in great hands!”

“We had a great experience! Viktoriia was very responsive, communicated quickly and clearly, and kept us updated throughout. She was reliable and took great care of our dog, Willow.”

“Brent was amazing with our dog Barry!! Our little guy is super anxious and it takes someone with a lot of patience and experience to handle him and Brent definitely was that person! Would recommend him over and over again! Best dog sitter we have come across and so glad we found him 🙏🏻🙌🏻”

“Such amazing communication! Kaylee showed so much love to Moose during his stay with her. She was so accommodating and really went above and beyond! It was so nice to know that Moose was in good hands for the time I couldn't have him with me.”

“Anna was great. She sent pictures and Daisy updates everyday. With our permission, she also gave Daisy a bath. That was probably the best bath she's had. Even got the stains around her eyes clean.”

About: I work from home and have one adult dog - Bandit (70lbs). He is mellow, and readily give up toys and beds to newcomers, and has had great fun with new friends, here and at his sitter's house when I travel. Your dog will enjoy a large fenced yard with lots of room to run, dig, play fetch, chase squirrels, etc. With a morning walk in the neighborhood, then naps and playtime throughout the day, I will keep your high-energy dog entertained, and provide a calm and safe environment for resting. If your dog prefers to be in a kennel, I have one available (my dog does NOT like the kennel, at all, so I only offer it as a place for your dog to nest.) I will send tons of pictures (or just a few, if you prefer) while you are away, so you can be assured that your dog is happy and relaxed. I’m sorry, but we are not accepting Pitbulls/mixes at this time. I work from home and will be here to care your pet 100% of the time they are here, to ensure they are safe and relaxed. I start each day around 7am with a walk with Bandit, and your dog is welcome to join us for a good sniffing walk to kick things off. After we get back, Bandit eats his breakfast and usually relaxes inside, especially in the summer when he prefers the A/C. Midday, he may sun himself in the backyard for a bit, but most of the time he hangs out inside. While I’m working, the dogs settle around my desk, either watching out the window or napping, and they get treats throughout the day. When the weather is cooler, we spend time on the screened‑in porch enjoying the breeze and watching the birds and squirrels. Evenings are quiet and relaxed, and end with a nightly dental bone at bedtime, which is typically around 9pm.

During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Caskey.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
