About: I have loved and handled pets/animals of all kind since I was a toddler with no fear in sight. Outside of my own pets, most of my family and friends have always had some sort of pet that I have watched or taken care of- dogs, cats, snakes, fish, turtles, ferrets, lizards, some of everything. My grandfather also had a farm with horses, chickens and cattle that my brother and I helped him take care of. I am a substitute teacher, so I don’t work everyday. This also means that I have the summer and holidays off so my flexibility is very high. If I am in someone else’s home caring for their pet, I follow all rules set by the owner for both the pet I’m watching and myself. If I am watching a pet at my home, I make sure everything is very neat and clean so there are no health hazards and they can’t get into things they shouldn’t.

About: Caring for my chihuahua mix for the past 5 years has given me hands on experience with daily routines, behavior quirks, and how to provide calm, loving care, especially for small or nervous dogs. As a high school teacher, my schedule allows me to be especially flexible during weekends, holidays, and summer breaks. About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages since I was a child! I grew up on a farm and have had Rottweilers, Pitbulls, cats, horses, and lots of animals of various sizes in between. During their stay, dogs are kept close to me in my room for the majority of the time, so they always have company and I can keep a close eye on them. We do have two resident dogs in the home, but they are both friendly and well socialized — they've welcomed visiting dogs before without any issues, making the transition smooth and stress free for everyone. I always make sure to do a slow, supervised introduction between dogs to ensure everyone is comfortable before giving them free time together. Every pet's boundaries are respected and their safety comes first.

About: I have worked in the veterinary field for over 3 decades. I know how to read your pets body language and how to look for signs of illness or injury. I currently work at an urgent care veterinary practice. I work full-time but am currently off all day Thursday-Saturday. I am also available most mornings Sunday-Wednesday for visits that are relatively close to my home. I will not be caring for pets in my own home. I believe it would cause stress to my own pets and possibly to yours. I would follow any instructions given by you when doing drop in visits to your home. However, I will never take your pet out for a walk off-leash, even if that is something you routinely do.

About: I’ve taken care of my weiner dog for 7 years now. I treat like she’s my real daughter and will take care of any furry animal the same. I have so much love I want to give to them! I have a lot of time that needs to be used up. I can do after 5pm on weekdays and ANY time during the weekends! On Mondays I can do earliest as 4pm! I walk a lot so if you need long walks for your energized dog, that is no problem! I also spend hours throwing the same toy and think of it as exercise for me AND the dog!
