About: Growing up with a variety of animals really gave me the compassion and love I have for animals now. Also, it gave me the skill I need to be able to take care of and provide for the different species of animals there are out there. Mostly, it was dogs and cats but I do have experience in caring for hamsters and bunnies. I love to go walking/hiking just to be outside and getting fresh air so i have no problem going on walks. I’m completely comfortable with our furry friends being on my furniture, I know not everybody is but mi casa es su casa. I am a veterinarian technician with my A.A.S. degree and I plan to open up my own business one day whether it be a dog boarding place of my own or my very own shelter/rescue. Either way, this is my 5-10 year goal and his will help me achieve that. I work full time throughout the week. My evenings are available & so are most of my weekends. This month of August will be busy for me on the weekends though. I make sure they are comfortable & I treat them as if they are my own. I make sure they are happy while their person is gone.

About: Hi Hi! I'm a former vet tech with 20 plus years of experience training and caring for pets! Day outings, overnights or drop-ins are all in my skill set! I'm an active and aware professional photographer and personal trainer and I enjoy getting dogs out on the trails, socializing, training- you name it! I mainly live in Jackson Hole, WYoming but I own my own home here in Winona. I am here some parts of the year and I would love to open up my schedule to dog care! I am very flexible during the day. I'm a photographer and most of my shoots are in the afternoons or early evening. I can do outings in the morning and afternoon to satisfy all of the physical demands of the doggos! I hit the trails almost every day so I can take them with me for a run/walk :) I also have access to 40 acres of wooded hills that I can take the pups too! The safety of your pet is #1! I am a former vet tech and have a great knowledge of dog care and health. I can administer medications- no problem! If am coming to let your pet out of your house, I can walk in the neighborhood or have a play session in the yard. If your pet is at my home, I have a big, fully fenced yard and I live right across from East Lake Winona, the dog friendly lake :) I am very aware of every situation I take your dog into and can address needs or concerns ASAP. I treat every dog I watch as one of my own :)

About: I have always been an avid animal-lover. From childhood into adulthood, I have owned and cared for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, birds & fish. My family & I currently share our home with two dogs, a bearded dragon, a Russian tortoise, & a ball python. I have several years of professional work experience in animal care (zoo, kennel care, walking, basic grooming) and wildlife / parks & recreation—both of which are relevant. I enjoy the outdoors and keeping all of our furry (& scaly) friends happy. I will board dogs, small mammals, reptiles & birds in my home! Upon request, I can do drop-in visits for cats or exotic animals within a 15 mile radius. I am currently a stay-at-home mom & so my schedule allows me to be at home majority of the time. If I need to leave the house, it’s never for more than a couple of hours. I have a large four-story home, which provides amble space for pets to play or to be separated if need be. I utilize crates for dogs who need or prefer it. Our yard is unfenced, so I use slip leads and tie-out cables for potty time.

“This was my first time using Rover, so I was a little nervous but my overall experience was positive with AJ. We have a 1 year old mixed breed dog that is very playful and happy around pretty much everyone. We met in a park near AJ’s home and he was promptly on time and communicated well. I asked several questions about the plan for the day and everything seemed reasonable to me. For me personally I just wanted someone that would keep my dog active and happy for the afternoon, also sneak in the occasional nap is okay too. When the day was over we met in the park again and (on time) and my dog was happy to see me. Thumbs up!”

About: I've taken care of animals my whole life. Growing up my family had a small hobby farm where we cared for many animals. Since moving out I have owned and helped train multiple working dogs, including the pointer I have now. I have no problem administering medications if needed. I already walk my multiple times a day so your dog will get plenty of exercise. My girlfriend works from home and I have a flexible work schedule so we are available any time you may need. Your dog will always have someone around if they like constant attention! I live in a house with a large, mostly fenced in backyard. My dog has never met someone he doesn't love, and will run/play until he can't stand anymore! Plenty of room for exercise and play!

About: I have always had pets in my home my whole life both dogs and cats I am definitely more of a dog person but I absolutely love caring for all animals and I know how difficult it can be depending on the animal my parents most recent dog was a handful he was in and out of several homes before finding his way to ours because of he’s very energetic and sometimes violent behavior but we turned him to a sweetie with time and good training. At first he was rather aggressive towards me and was very difficult to train because of how long he had gone without training which taught me a lot of tricks to deal with a difficult and aggressive dog. I love this job and I hope you’re pet will enjoy my company as much as I’ll enjoy theirs. I haven’t bathed a dog before but I have helped bathe a cat with flees and I’m down to learn anything. I do this full time so I am usually always free to offer the most reliable and consistent pet care experience for your pet and I’m always available unless I’m watching other pets. I’d love to do repeat visits to build a better relationship with you and your pet. I do the absolute best of my ability to ensure that your dog feels safe and happy when with me and I hope after meeting me you’re pet is excited to see me again.
