About: We’re Pawz & Play! We offer dog & cat boarding, weekend daycare, drop in visits, dog walking, and house sitting in Winona, MN. We operate on a small-scale, only taking a maximum of 2 pups or one family’s pets at a time. Erica is an aspiring dog groomer & trainer who someday hopes to have her own facility. Ciara is working on getting her bachelors and is the primary person on drop in visits. We have two medium sized young dogs who love to play & get along great with playful pups of all ages and sizes as well as an older small dog who does great with calmer pups. All dogs are assessed for play style and comfort level before being split into play groups. One of us is home the majority of the time and we incorporate your pets into our girls’ daily routine or we can do a rotation schedule if they’re not a fan of group activities. Our fenced in back yard has a good size dog run within the fence just for pups and the rest of the yard includes the chickens & rabbits in their own runs as well as a small patio, hammocks, and garden beds. Whether in your home or ours, we are happy to serve your pets whatever food you’d like including homemade, raw, canned food, or kibble. We just ask that it be premade so we need only measure out the amount and feed your babies.

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by pets and have years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages. I’ve dog-sat for family and friends, giving me experience with both playful puppies and senior dogs. I’m attentive, reliable, and genuinely love spending time with pets, making sure they feel safe, happy, and well-cared-for while you’re away. As a graduate student with all online classes and a part-time job (about 10 hours per week), I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide attentive care for pets throughout the day. I can easily accommodate walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship, ensuring your pet gets plenty of attention while you’re away. I prioritize the safety and comfort of every pet in my care. In your home, I make sure the environment is secure, clean, and pet-friendly. I follow any specific instructions you provide, including feeding schedules, medications, and exercise routines. I treat each pet with love and respect, giving them plenty of attention while keeping their safety and well-being my top priority.

About: I am a empty nester looking to take care of some fury friends. I have grown up with dogs my whole life. I love to stay active and would love to take your dog for a walk or run if they like. I love all dogs and I would love to take the time to care for yours! I am very flexible and know a lot about dogs in general. Both my boys are now in college and this would be a wonderful opportunity for me to do what I have always loved. About: I have worked at a dog boarding facility for over two years providing high quality care for all different kinds of pups and their needs! I also have an old pup myself who is spoiled with belly rubs and treats who is currently at home with my parents while I attend college! I can accommodate to any needs you and your dog need like a specialized feeding schedule, allergies, exercise, and more! About: Growing up with a variety of animals really gave me the compassion and love I have for animals now. Also, it gave me the skill I need to be able to take care of and provide for the different species of animals there are out there. Mostly, it was dogs and cats but I do have experience in caring for hamsters and bunnies. I love to go walking/hiking just to be outside and getting fresh air so i have no problem going on walks. I’m completely comfortable with our furry friends being on my furniture, I know not everybody is but mi casa es su casa. I am a veterinarian technician with my A.A.S. degree and I plan to open up my own business one day whether it be a dog boarding place of my own or my very own shelter/rescue. Either way, this is my 5-10 year goal and his will help me achieve that. I work full time throughout the week. My evenings are available & so are most of my weekends. This month of August will be busy for me on the weekends though. I make sure they are comfortable & I treat them as if they are my own. I make sure they are happy while their person is gone.

About: I have been a reliable sitter for many of my friends and family for animals of all shapes and sizes. I have administered medications, sat for a dog with a broken leg, and even mucked out a barnful of horse stalls. I am willing to do just about anything for the well-being of your furry family. I am a college student with a 10-hour-a-week part-time job, so in general my schedule is pretty free. I am willing to get up at 5am and stay up until midnight to make sure your pets get the best and most consistent care. I can't do in-home services right now, as my apartment complex does not allow animals, but I am more than willing to travel to take care of your pets. I will follow a set schedule or instructions to the best of my abilities and make sure your animals are living their best lives.

About: My name is Ashley, I’m 26 years old and am a school social worker. I recently moved to the Winona area. I have grown up with dogs my entire life and have my own dog who is 4. I have also house and dog sat for multiple dogs. I’ve had dogs in my family ever since I could remember and I enjoy spending time with them. What better way to make money by doing something I love? I currently work full-time in a high school. I work a regular schedule so my availability shouldn’t change much besides opening up more in the summer. I have room and space to spread out and am very active, so I enjoy walking and being outside. I do keep my dog separate from dogs that I care for.

About: Hi Hi! I'm a former vet tech with 20 plus years of experience training and caring for pets! Day outings, overnights or drop-ins are all in my skill set! I'm an active and aware professional photographer and personal trainer and I enjoy getting dogs out on the trails, socializing, training- you name it! I mainly live in Jackson Hole, WYoming but I own my own home here in Winona. I am here some parts of the year and I would love to open up my schedule to dog care! I am very flexible during the day. I'm a photographer and most of my shoots are in the afternoons or early evening. I can do outings in the morning and afternoon to satisfy all of the physical demands of the doggos! I hit the trails almost every day so I can take them with me for a run/walk :) I also have access to 40 acres of wooded hills that I can take the pups too! The safety of your pet is #1! I am a former vet tech and have a great knowledge of dog care and health. I can administer medications- no problem! If am coming to let your pet out of your house, I can walk in the neighborhood or have a play session in the yard. If your pet is at my home, I have a big, fully fenced yard and I live right across from East Lake Winona, the dog friendly lake :) I am very aware of every situation I take your dog into and can address needs or concerns ASAP. I treat every dog I watch as one of my own :)

My dog and I have taken several training classes over the years where I've picked up on several tips, tricks, and insights into dog behavior. I have experience with a broad range of dog and cat personalities and energy levels. My current work schedule is flexible. About: I have grown up with dogs all my life and now have two of my own. I will be a great sitter because I have animal training experience and can work with behavior issues. I am a certified professional bird trainer and I am working towards becoming a certified dog trainer. I have also taken several animal training workshops! I believe in positive reinforcement training and building a trusting relationship with every animal I work with. Animal training with positive methods is very important to me and I look forward to working with you on any problems you may have with your dog or just continuing the good behavior your dog already has. I also have several enrichment ideas for any dogs that may seem bored or have too much energy. Have other pets at home? No problem! I have experience with cats, small mammals, parrots and raptors, and even a little experience with reptiles.

About: I love animals of all kinds! I’m a nurse looking to hang out with your pets on my days off. I have experience with every care need from early puppy socialization to end of life care. I haven’t met a dog yet I didn’t immediately become besties with, from the tiniest chihuahua to the biggest pittie or Dane. I’m also happy to look after any other animals you might have, from reptiles to birds to horses. Just ask and we’ll make it work! I have a rotating schedule that includes a full week off every third week. I work 5p-3a three days a week (and every third weekend). Just message and we’ll figure something out! Yours: I understand being particular about one’s home, so no reasonable request relating to my conduct there would be too much! Cleaning up after myself is a given, as is following any personal house rules. Mine: All of my animals are up to date on vaccinations and flea/tick medication, and I require the same from any animal I keep in my home. They would be kept separate from my 4 cats for the first couple of days, but with discretion and communication I would be fine with introducing them if they were interested in each other.
