About: I am a Registered Nurse with a deep love for animals and extensive experience in specialized pet care. I currently volunteer at my local animal shelter, where I walk dogs, assist with basic training, and support rescue animals in need. Caring for these shelter animals—and working with pets on Rover—has become a meaningful way for me to channel my grief after my beloved 15-year-old rescue dog, Winnie, recently crossed the rainbow bridge. At home, I also share my life with a sweet 4-year-old rescue tabby cat named Chip. My background in nursing makes me highly comfortable administering medications and injections. Additionally, thanks to my many years of loving Winnie, I am no stranger to senior care, complex medical needs, or the gentle patience required for elderly pets. I have great flexibility throughout the week! I'm available most weekdays and weekends to help take your dog out or drop in to check on your kitty. Last-minute bookings are welcome, provided I have at least 24 hours' notice. While I don't offer boarding in my own home, I specialize in keeping your animals safe, happy, and comfortable in theirs. Whether it's a drop-in visit, a walk, or overnight house sitting, my priority is maintaining your pet's familiar environment to keep stress low. I am committed to building trust through reliable care and clear communication. For your peace of mind, I am fully trained to administer specialized care, including CPR, standard medications, and medical injections, ensuring your furry family members are always in safe hands.

At now 28 years old I have been assissting family and friends with their dog care for years. I would love to become friends with your dogs too! I work part time as a Rock Climbing Guide in Joshua Tree. This allows me a farily flexible schedule, and keeps me active. I am available and free most days with proper heads up. I am a dog owner myself with a very friendly blue heeler male. I care for others animals as I do my own friend, and respecting you and your dogs boundaries are my first priorities. About: I have over 13 years of hands on experience caring for dogs, from raising puppies into adulthood to understanding how their needs change throughout different stages of life. I’ve learned how important it is for dogs to have healthy outlets for their energy, plenty of attention, patience, exercise, and a routine that helps them feel happy and cared for. I currently have a dog of my own, Reese, who I love taking on walks and runs, as well as three cats with their own unique personalities. Having both dogs and cats has given me experience understanding the very different ways animals communicate, build trust, and show what they need. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, adult dogs, high-energy dogs, and pets who may still be learning their manners or training. I believe every animal deserves patience and the opportunity to feel safe, appreciated, and understood. Whether your pet needs an energetic walk, playtime, companionship, or simply some extra love and attention while you’re away, I want to provide the same level of care I would want for my own animals. 🐾 With a flexible part-time schedule and a love for walking my own dog on the daily, I enjoy sharing fun, fulfilling walks with other dogs too. I’ve always been an animal lover and happiest when I’m spending time outside! I have a dog of my own, Reese, who I love taking on walks, runs, and little adventures, along with three cats who each have completely different personalities. Growing up around animals has taught me that every pet is different and deserves patience, attention, affection, and plenty of time to just be themselves. I love getting to know each animal’s personality and finding what makes them happiest—whether that’s an energetic walk, some playtime, exploring outside, or simply having someone there to give them attention. I’m also completely comfortable with puppies, high-energy dogs, and dogs who may still be working on their training or manners. I believe they deserve just as much patience and care while they’re learning! My goal is to give your pet a fun, positive experience while making sure they’re safe, cared for, and getting the attention they deserve. 🐾

About: I have taken care of my dogs and cats since the start of high school. I love giving affection to my dogs and cats, including others I have met in person. I used to have a dog that was a senior and improvised ways that I helped them with, like using one of the sofa cushions as a chair my dog could use to go on the bed. Another example was putting pills on a butter knife that had a dab of peanut butter in it and gave it to my senior dog. I'm good at listening to instructions and guidelines that you need for me to take care of your pets. I will also give them space when they tell me. If they're skittish of me, then I'll be patient with them by letting them sniff my hand, not give eye contact at them, crouching down to their level, and talking in a calm tone. I am unemployed, so I have plenty of time to take care of your dogs and/or cats! I will be available Sunday through Thursday unless something comes up in my life of course. I will make sure your doors and gates are locked. I'll do my best in following your schedule in taking care of your pets so they won't be stressed by any sudden changes. I'll make sure to ask any questions on how to take care of your dogs and cats so I won't make any needless mistakes. I will send you photos and text updates of your pets if anything happens and to let you know your pets are happy.

About: I've had pets my whole life and have had kittens, puppies, cats, dogs, and animals outdoors. I've always had a heart for animals and am the type of person to save stray animals whenever I see them. I have experience caring for others animals and volunteer at the animals shelters from time to time. I'm currently a college student with a part time job!! Although that takes up quite a bit of my schedule, I still have plenty of free time to help care for your fur babies. I'm a very well organized person with a flexible schedule and can make nearly everything work out. Weekends, holidays, weeks long, or just a few days, you name it, I'll be there! I would say I'm a very responsible and organized person! I will care for your pets as if they're my own because I understand how much they mean to you. Your pets will be in safe hands!

About: Growing up with a variety of animals really gave me the compassion and love I have for animals now. Also, it gave me the skill I need to be able to take care of and provide for the different species of animals there are out there. Mostly, it was dogs and cats but I do have experience in caring for hamsters and bunnies. I love to go walking/hiking just to be outside and getting fresh air so i have no problem going on walks. I’m completely comfortable with our furry friends being on my furniture, I know not everybody is but mi casa es su casa. I am a veterinarian technician with my A.A.S. degree and I plan to open up my own business one day whether it be a dog boarding place of my own or my very own shelter/rescue. Either way, this is my 5-10 year goal and his will help me achieve that. I work full time throughout the week. My evenings are available & so are most of my weekends. This month of August will be busy for me on the weekends though. I make sure they are comfortable & I treat them as if they are my own. I make sure they are happy while their person is gone.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Pickwick. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Pickwick.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
