About: I am a Registered Nurse with a deep love for animals and extensive experience in specialized pet care. I currently volunteer at my local animal shelter, where I walk dogs, assist with basic training, and support rescue animals in need. About: I have cared for dogs most of my life. I cannot remember a time growing up when my family did not include a pup of some kind. At now 28 years old I have been assissting family and friends with their dog care for years. I would love to become friends with your dogs too! I work part time as a Rock Climbing Guide in Joshua Tree. This allows me a farily flexible schedule, and keeps me active. I am available and free most days with proper heads up. About: I have taken care of my dogs and cats since the start of high school. I love giving affection to my dogs and cats, including others I have met in person. I used to have a dog that was a senior and improvised ways that I helped them with, like using one of the sofa cushions as a chair my dog could use to go on the bed. Another example was putting pills on a butter knife that had a dab of peanut butter in it and gave it to my senior dog. I'm good at listening to instructions and guidelines that you need for me to take care of your pets. I will also give them space when they tell me. If they're skittish of me, then I'll be patient with them by letting them sniff my hand, not give eye contact at them, crouching down to their level, and talking in a calm tone. I am unemployed, so I have plenty of time to take care of your dogs and/or cats! I will be available Sunday through Thursday unless something comes up in my life of course. I will make sure your doors and gates are locked. I'll do my best in following your schedule in taking care of your pets so they won't be stressed by any sudden changes. I'll make sure to ask any questions on how to take care of your dogs and cats so I won't make any needless mistakes. I will send you photos and text updates of your pets if anything happens and to let you know your pets are happy.
About: I grew up on a farm and I have experience with multiple different breeds of animals. I take the time to listen to animals and their body language. I work part time. So i have plenty of extra time to spend and care for your fur baby. Im available Monday to Friday after 2pm and weekends! I have plent of yard space and easy access to walking tails and parks. I've always had a heart for animals and am the type of person to save stray animals whenever I see them. About: I have worked at a boarding kennel for dogs/cats, it made me so happy and everything in my life disappear when I'm with them daily. About: Growing up with a variety of animals really gave me the compassion and love I have for animals now. Also, it gave me the skill I need to be able to take care of and provide for the different species of animals there are out there. Mostly, it was dogs and cats but I do have experience in caring for hamsters and bunnies. I love to go walking/hiking just to be outside and getting fresh air so i have no problem going on walks. I am a veterinarian technician with my A.A.S. degree and I plan to open up my own business one day whether it be a dog boarding place of my own or my very own shelter/rescue. About: I require any visiting pets to be vaccinated and on flea preventitive! I have trained many kinds of dogs for many different things! I have a service dog that I trained Bella! Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
