About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have cared for all kinds, including dogs, cats, and rabbits. My family has always been full of pet lovers and our home has always welcomed animals of all shapes and sizes. Growing up,I learned how to care for pets kindly, patiently, and responsibly. I currently have a cat of my own, and she truly is my pride and joy. I also regularly care for the pets of friends, coworkers, and family members when they’re out of town or need extra help. I’m especially available after 4 PM, but I’m happy to make other times work as well. I can bring my work computer with me if needed and take breaks as I please, so I’m able to give your pets plenty of attention and care throughout the day. Your pet safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow care instructions closely and make sure pets are supervised, secure, and stress-free. I pay close attention to their behavior, routines, and any special needs they may have. My home is calm, clean, and pet friendly. I make sure doors and windows are secured, remove any potential hazards, and provide plenty of space for pets to relax and feel at home. I’m very attentive during walks and outings and always use leashes, unless otherwise instructed. I treat every pet as if they were my own and worked hard to build trust so both pets and owners feel comfortable and confident in my care.

About: Hello, I’m Ashlyn! If you were to ask anyone who knows me what I’m like, the first thing they would tell you is that I am animal OBSESSED! I have been surrounded by animals + cats alike my entire life. I currently own two big dogs (Pitbull +Aussie) + one small dog (Shih Tzu) and a cat! I strive to ensure your pet has the best experience possible while you are away. Coming from a pet parent myself I know the fear of leaving your bestfriend in someone else’s care can be a lot. That’s why I believe it is important to keep you in the loop for a stress-free time away, while also giving your animal plenty of enrichment and love to distract their worried mind while you are gone. I am experienced with a wide range of different kinds of dogs. From reactive, friendly, and anxious I have seen it all. I am more then willing to work through quirks your animal has in order to make their experience the best it can be! Some training skills I am well-versed in is leash training, socialization, basic manners, puppy care, senior care, and separation anxiety issues. I am so excited to meet your animal and give it the best experience possible! I currently work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. Hours vary week to week. Let me know your preferred schedule and we can make it work! I am absolutely able to leave work (distance permitting) during my break to let your animal outside and let out some energy if needed! After work I am able to give your pet some exercise whether that is a walk or playing with some toys after work. For house-sitting/ drop ins- I am a firm believer that following a similar routine to what the owner (you) follows will give your pet the least stressful experience possible. I will stick to your potty schedule for your animal as well as feeding. As for exercise, I am up to whatever your dog or cat prefers! I can go for walks, play fetch, provide enrichment with feeding time or play with toys. I am always willing to go to nearby park with your pup if preferred! Whatever your pet loves and makes them feel the safest! For dog-walking, I am willing to walk however long your animal needs! Does your pet have a favorite route? Let me know and I will follow it! Any nearby trails or parks? I am always down to visit them with your pup if wanted! I have personal experience with leash-pulling and reactivity so as long as I am made aware of these things and have met your dog, I am more then willing to work through these things on our walk! I am big on taking my dogs and shelter dogs to parks or big areas to run or explore. If this is something you would be interested in, I could totally take your dog out for an hour to exercise them!

About: Between jobs. Looking for a productive/enjoyable way to fill my time. I’ve had small dogs, giant dogs and every size in between. I’ve successfully leash trained several dogs and am happy to impart my skills on them, if you’d like. I’m a single mom who typically travels for work. I am, however, currently between jobs, and looking for my next contract. Making me available 8am-4:30pm. All care would need to be in your home. If crated, I can clean/change crate bedding, clean water and feed if needed. I can exercise your pet through play or a 30 min walk. I’d be happy to work on basic obedient skills as well.

About: I've taken care of a variety of dogs since I was very young. I grew up with labs and I am very comfortable with all sizes of dogs. I took care of my yellow lab/retriever mix, Blue, for so many years; taking her on long walks, giving her baths, making sure she got along with our neighbor dogs. I also helped out taking care of my neighbor dogs from time to time. After my dog died at the age of 15, my family didn't think we would get another dog. 7 years ago, we got a new puppy, his name is Brooks, and he is a yellow lab. He is very different than our old dog. He has lots of energy, he has ran away a couple times but always came back or we found him, and we lived on 2 acres of land so that helped. He is our first inside dog, so he loves cuddles, treats, sleeping, playing catch and sneaking downstairs where he is not supposed to be. I have lots of experience with dogs and I appreciate and love them very much! I am currently working at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, so I have the summer off. During the school year, I have Fridays off and I am done by 3pm the other days. On Mondays and Wednesdays I have slower mornings. I can help out throughout the day and on weekends. I live in an apartment building but there is an area with lots of grass and next to the building and around the area. My building doesn’t allow pets so I am not able to house pets at my place, but I can always talk to my landlord.

About: I have always had pets in my home my whole life both dogs and cats I am more of a dog person but I absolutely love caring for all animals and I know how difficult it can be depending on the animal my parents most recent dog was a handful he was in and out of several homes before finding his way to ours because of he’s very energetic and sometimes violent behavior but we turned him to a sweetie with time and good training. At first he was rather aggressive towards me and was very difficult to train because of how long he had gone without training which taught me a lot of tricks to deal with a difficult and aggressive dog. I love this job and I hope your pet will enjoy my company as much as I’ll enjoy theirs. I have bathed dogs helped bathe a cat with flees and I’m down to learn anything if you’ll help show me. I do this full time so I am usually always free to offer the most reliable and consistent pet care experience for your pet and I’m always available unless I’m watching other pets. About: I have had dogs in my family since I was in 2nd grade, have trained my own dog and have dog sat for my sister in Colorado to keep up with walks and with his training. I love to help pet owners keep consistent expectations for their pets! I have work until 2:30 most days. I work at a school and often have meetings once programming ends. On Saturday’s I am mostly free, unless I am out of town! I have a fenced yard, and I also am very familiar with hiking trails around the la crosse area, if your dog needs some fun exercise! I am also very aware of other dogs behaviors on a trail and will be very cognizant of that and any other expectations you have on a walk with your furry friend.

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 19 years old and I’m almost 25 now! I know a ton about dogs and I am always willing to learn more! I know how to bathe, do nail trims etc. you name it I’m sure to know or are willing to learn more as I go! I am pretty much with my dog always. I’m not with him for 2-4 hours a day and he’s wouldn’t mind caring for more dogs. I walk my dog Moses 2 a day for 20-30 min. I give him baths and nail trims every 2 weeks. I feed him twice a day morning (1 scoop of dry) and night (1/2 can of wet).

About: Growing up with a variety of animals really gave me the compassion and love I have for animals now. Also, it gave me the skill I need to be able to take care of and provide for the different species of animals there are out there. Mostly, it was dogs and cats but I do have experience in caring for hamsters and bunnies. I love to go walking/hiking just to be outside and getting fresh air so i have no problem going on walks. I’m completely comfortable with our furry friends being on my furniture, I know not everybody is but mi casa es su casa. I am a veterinarian technician with my A.A.S. degree and I plan to open up my own business one day whether it be a dog boarding place of my own or my very own shelter/rescue.
