He doesn't spend a lot of time around other dogs and recently was attacked while walking, so I was initially worried about how he would do with their dogs, but theirs are well trained and he fit into the pack quite easily, it seems. They understood his caution, given what he had been through, and they undertook appropriate precautions when exposing him to their dogs and others. My family & I currently share our home with two dogs, a bearded dragon, a Russian tortoise, & a ball python. About: Growing up with a variety of animals really gave me the compassion and love I have for animals now. Also, it gave me the skill I need to be able to take care of and provide for the different species of animals there are out there. Mostly, it was dogs and cats but I do have experience in caring for hamsters and bunnies. I love to go walking/hiking just to be outside and getting fresh air so i have no problem going on walks. I’m completely comfortable with our furry friends being on my furniture, I know not everybody is but mi casa es su casa. I am a veterinarian technician with my A.A.S. degree and I plan to open up my own business one day whether it be a dog boarding place of my own or my very own shelter/rescue. Either way, this is my 5-10 year goal and his will help me achieve that. I work full time throughout the week. My evenings are available & so are most of my weekends. About: I have always had pets in my home my whole life both dogs and cats I am more of a dog person but I absolutely love caring for all animals and I know how difficult it can be depending on the animal my parents most recent dog was a handful he was in and out of several homes before finding his way to ours because of he’s very energetic and sometimes violent behavior but we turned him to a sweetie with time and good training. At first he was rather aggressive towards me and was very difficult to train because of how long he had gone without training which taught me a lot of tricks to deal with a difficult and aggressive dog. I love this job and I hope your pet will enjoy my company as much as I’ll enjoy theirs. I have bathed dogs helped bathe a cat with flees and I’m down to learn anything if you’ll help show me. I do this full time so I am usually always free to offer the most reliable and consistent pet care experience for your pet and I’m always available unless I’m watching other pets. We have a 1 year old mixed breed dog that is very playful and happy around pretty much everyone. We met in a park near AJ’s home and he was promptly on time and communicated well. About: We’re Pawz & Play! We offer dog & cat boarding, weekend daycare, drop in visits, dog walking, and house sitting in Winona, MN. We operate on a small-scale, only taking a maximum of 2 pups or one family’s pets at a time. Erica is an aspiring dog groomer & trainer who someday hopes to have her own facility. Ciara is working on getting her bachelors and is the primary person on drop in visits. We have two medium sized young dogs who love to play & get along great with playful pups of all ages and sizes as well as an older small dog who does great with calmer pups. All dogs are assessed for play style and comfort level before being split into play groups. One of us is home the majority of the time and we incorporate your pets into our girls’ daily routine or we can do a rotation schedule if they’re not a fan of group activities. Our fenced in back yard has a good size dog run within the fence just for pups and the rest of the yard includes the chickens & rabbits in their own runs as well as a small patio, hammocks, and garden beds. Whether in your home or ours, we are happy to serve your pets whatever food you’d like including homemade, raw, canned food, or kibble. We just ask that it be premade so we need only measure out the amount and feed your babies.

About: I love animals of all kinds! I’m a nurse looking to hang out with your pets on my days off. I have experience with every care need from early puppy socialization to end of life care. I haven’t met a dog yet I didn’t immediately become besties with, from the tiniest chihuahua to the biggest pittie or Dane. I will never turn a dog down because of their breed! I’m also happy to look after any other animals you might have, from reptiles to birds to horses. Just ask and we’ll make it work! About: I grew up on a farm and I have experience with multiple different breeds of animals. I take the time to listen to animals and their body language. I work part time. So i have plenty of extra time to spend and care for your fur baby. Im available Monday to Friday after 2pm and weekends! I have plent of yard space and easy access to walking tails and parks. I do have a dog friendly cat who can keep ur fur baby company
About: I currently have a 1 year old husky puppy who is as sweet as can be. I grew up with several Shetland sheepdogs, miniature poodles, and other small critters. I have also spent countless time volunteering at dog rescues. At these rescues, I have helped with medication administration, socialization, and worked with puppies-senior dogs. Monday through Friday any night after 5:00pm I can be available. I currently work 7:30-4:00. On the weekends, I am completely free for whatever you pets may need. In my home, my dog currently sleeps in bed with me, is free roaming throughout the day. With daily walks and trips to our dog park. In your home, I will respect whatever rules and requests you may have. I get everyone views training, socialization, and other factors differently. I will do my best to respect your needs and keep your furry one company whenever you need an extra eye.
About: I require any visiting pets to be vaccinated and on flea preventitive! I have trained many kinds of dogs for many different things! I have a service dog that I trained Bella! I also have a cat that is trained to sit, spin, and jump! I have experience with diabetic animals and with most animals in general! I am educated on animal CPR and heimlich. I'm happiest when I'm spending time with 6 dogs at a time lol it's so much fun! I don't have space to take more than one large dog or 2 small dogs at a time but someday I will! I am working on getting fencing for my yard! I only let 1 dog out at a time. I follow owners feeding schedule. I chart every feeding, drink of water that i see, and every potty break. I send updates daily and am well educated on how to calm an anxious dog!

She was willing to both pickup and dropoff, which made the whole process so much easier for our vacation. Erica sent frequent pictures and videos and kept us updated to our dog's situation. She was also open about how her pet sitting style was approached in her home and property. In addition, it was quite apparent that the dogs they sat would have plenty of outside exercise, love and attention, as well as freedom to be a dog. Lydia loved romping around in the snow, lying in front of their fire place, and interacting with their dogs. We also learned that our dog is pretty corteous to cats, but very interested. Their four acres of land and stream are a definite amenity to an active dog's lifestyle. They understood his caution, given what he had been through, and they undertook appropriate precautions when exposing him to their dogs and others. In general, it seemed like a good experience for everyone and he made a couple more dog friends! I will definitely be a return (and repeat) customer.”
