I am a current volunteer at Minneapolis Animal Care & Control and the Winona Humane Society, where I work hands on with animals of various temperaments and needs. I have been volunteering in animal shelters for approximately two years, driven purely by my love and care for animals. In addition, I have about five years of experience dog sitting and walking for friends and family, providing reliable, attentive, and compassionate care. I prioritize safety, comfort, and positive experiences for every pet entrusted to me.

I grew up with dogs and helped train them, which gave me a strong foundation in understanding animal behavior, patience, and consistency. I also have experience caring for my own kitten, which has taught me a lot about attention to detail and the different needs of cats. From feeding schedules and playtime to cleaning litter boxes and monitoring health, I know how important it is to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Taking care of my own pets has made me even more passionate about providing reliable, compassionate care to every pet I look after.

I recently couldn't make it home to feed my cat and I really appreciated that Peyton was able to help me out on VERY short notice! She was quick to respond and a good communicator. It was also a nice touch that she soaked the wet food container so it would be easier for me to deal with the next day. :)

Booked Peyton for both house sitting and drop in visits the week of 3/22/2026. She was great with taking care of my cat Turbo and providing pictures during my vacation.

I am currently a full time student at Winona State University and work part-time as the Aquatics Coordinator at the Winona Family YMCA. I am organized, reliable, and happy to work around my schedule to ensure your pets receive attentive care, playtime, and companionship.
