“Angel was amazing with my cat! She's professional, kind, and attentive. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my cat was in great hands, and I can't wait to book her again. Thank you so much, Angel!”

“Madison was friendly and professional, she was reliable, arrived on time and took good care of my Lab. She even had a dog toy that my dog is slighty obsessed with. I will book with her again.”

About: I have a genuine love for dogs and my commitment to their well-being. I make sure each walk is fun and engaging, tailored to your dogs needs and energy levels. I’m reliable and always prioritize safety, so you can have a peace of mind knowing your furry friend is in good hands. I am currently in school, although I’m out before noon!! In the afternoon or even in the evening is a great way for me to take care of your furry friends! When I take pets on walks, I make sure to bring plenty of water and some treats to keep them hydrated and happy. I always keep an eye on them to make sure they're safe and comfortable, and I choose routes that are fun and engaging, with lots of interesting smells and sights. Plus, I love giving them lots of praise and attention to make the walk enjoyable for them!
“Sunny does a great job caring for my dogs while I’m at work. She quickly replies and notifies me of any concerns. My dogs and cat seem to really enjoy her company and the love she shows them!”

“Jessica is a wonderful pet sitter. We have been using her services repeatedly and we are absolutely comfortable when she is taking care of our precious cat Bella. She’s always on time and very well organized. She sents a lot of photos and updates us on everything that is happening and takes time to make sure everything is in order before we come home. We will gladly recommend her as a pet sitter.”

“Bonnie was wonderful! She helped us out on short notice and over the holiday weekend. We were so thankful and pleased with her response time, availability, follow-up, daily checking with pictures and overall professionalism. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and our babies were well taken care of!!”

“I could not have been any happier or more excited about how wonderful Morgan was in taking care of our two rambunctious boxers! She did a great job of fielding their exuberance and loved on them for the two days we were out of town. The Rover Cards are the best as she sent updates and pictures from every visit! I will definitely be calling Morgan again...and my only concern with writing this review is that she will be too busy for us when we need her next! Thank you, Morgan!”

“Thank you so much for your help Rachel. I asked for her help giving an injection to my cat because I have needle anxiety and she was on it! She’s literally a life saver because without his medicine my baby would die.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember! Growing up, I rescued many animals and helped my grandma foster tiny kittens and puppies, which gave me hands-on experience caring for animals of different ages and needs. I have a genuine love for all animals and take their safety and well-being very seriously. I have a strong understanding of proper animal care, common household foods and substances that can be toxic to pets, and how to recognize and respond to emergency situations. I’m patient, attentive, and dedicated to making every animal feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I treat every pet as if they were my own and want every owner to feel confident knowing their babies are in good hands! I have a flexible schedule and do my best to accommodate each pet’s needs! Between my classes and nanny job, I’m able to plan ahead and work with pet owners to find times that fit both of our schedules. I’m happy to provide consistent, reliable care and make sure your cat’s routine is maintained while you’re away. Whether you need drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, or some extra love and attention for your pet, I’ll do my best to make it work! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it my priority to keep every animal safe, comfortable, and happy in their familiar environment. I follow each pet’s usual routine, including feeding, providing fresh water, exercise, playtime, cleaning up after them, and following any special care instructions their owners provide. Having grown up around and caring for many different animals, I understand that every pet has unique needs, personalities, and comfort levels. I give them plenty of love and attention while respecting their individual boundaries. I also pay close attention to their behavior and well-being, keep their spaces clean and safe, and provide updates and pictures so owners can feel at ease while they’re away. My goal is to treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure they feel loved and cared for!
About: In my 5 years of watching animals, I have found a passion in taking the best care of them and making them feel comfortable in their own homes. I have dealt with stressful dogs all the way to the outgoing kinds and know how to comfort them in anyways I can. I also have experience with training puppies and keeping up with them! Along with watching the animals, I am also there for you so if you have any plants that need watered or trash taken out I will happily do that for you! I am a Sophomore at East Carolina University and I do have classes Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday! I only have 1-2 classes a day that are not longer than an hour! My top priority is making sure they are comfortable and not stressed with their owners being gone. I ask the owners if they have any ways of calming them down and what their daily routine is. I mold my schedule to what the animals are used to so they aren’t dealing with a big change.

About: I have personally grew up with dogs and find myself very passionate about care and respect for animals! My years of internships experience at a rescue center has allowed me to learn rehab skills, spread owner-responsibility awareness and tips, and have hands-on field work with all different kinds of animals, especially dogs, and cater to all their specialized needs! I additionally have fostered a couple of dogs from my local shelter! We call them staycations. This is where, as fosters, we take a dog from out of the shelter for maybe a week or so to give them some fresh air and some at-home loving! All dogs I have fostered have been happily adopted by their forever-owners! I currently work a part time job so I evidently have plenty of time on my hands to take care of your dogs! With that being said, I don’t have a set schedule that I usually work but I only work 2-3 days a week. During the week, afternoons are best for me, and weekends I have full availability if I’m not working! Please inquire to get more details about my schedule! :) I have interned at a animal care and control center so I find myself pretty well and familiar with all kinds of personalities dogs may have! I am very attentive and well follow any set instructions given for the best care of your pup!

About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs since I was 12 years old! I’ve had experience with both mini poodles and toy poodles, and I currently have both a toy poodle and a mini poodle of my own. Having dogs throughout my life has taught me how important patience, attention, exercise, and lots of love are when caring for someone’s pet. I’m currently a college student, so my schedule varies depending on the day, but I have plenty of availability for pet sitting and dog walking. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I’m usually finished with classes around 1 PM. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I’m usually finished around 5 PM. My weekends are completely open, and I’m happy to work with your schedule whenever possible. Since I live in a dorm, I’m unable to have pets stay inside with me, but I’d be more than happy to spend the day outside with your pet, take them on walks, play with them, visit a dog park, or give them lots of attention and exercise. I’m also available for house sitting when my schedule allows! I take your pet’s safety and comfort very seriously. Since I live in a college dorm, I’m unable to provide overnight boarding in my own home, but I’m happy to provide dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting at your home. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine, make sure they get plenty of exercise and attention, and follow any specific instructions you leave for me. I’m also happy to keep you updated with pictures and messages while you’re away so you know your pet is doing well.
About: I’ve owned Labrador Retrievers and have experience caring for a variety of pets through pet sitting, including dogs, cats, and other animals. I’m comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, routines, and providing attentive, reliable care. I am student in college with flexible hours. I am free nearly every day and I am able to commute and prove quality care to all pets. I am extremely responsible and reliable. I take animals out right away and refill water and necessities. I’d love to exercise your animal and play with them until they are fully cared for and loved.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Windy Ridge
Sabrin did a great job! She sent pictures daily which was a nice touch. All 5 kitties seemed very content when we arrived back from our trip. I am sorry that I am unable to tip at this time. My husband is a military vet and we are on a very tight budget. My daughter paid for everything and thought the tip was included up front. Again, very sorry but Sabrin did a great job and would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable pet sitter.

Caelyn was great. She was very loving, caring, patient, trustworthy taking care of my two cats. They got along well. She went above and beyond spending time with them, playing with them, checking in on them. Would highly recommend her to others. She was easy and flexible to coordinate logistics with. If anyone in or around Greenville needs help with their pets, I would highly recommend her. Thanks Caelyn.

Ashley is passionate about cat sitting. She was always on time, kept the litter boxes cleaned, made sure the two were fed and played with our two kittens. She constantly interacted with the kittens giving them plenty of attention and love. This was my first time using her and plan on using her again. She sent pictures from each visit. It was great to know how good the cats were being taken care of.

Thank you Mady for taking my girls last minute. Mady has been to my house a couple of times this week and my girls love her! One of my chihuahuas is very difficult and doesn’t let anyone take her out for potty breaks. Mady earned her trust in 3 visits within the same day, and by the next day my dog was happy to go out. I will be using her pet sitting service often. Thank you for the patience Mady!

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
