“✨Michelle gets a 5🐾out of 5🐾 from our pack!!! From the minute she walked in our puppies felt at ease and loved her- including Leia-our dachshund/bishon 👑 whom had dismissed several candidates prior to Michelle. She sends updates and pictures during her visits and within the first visit they had taken to her and looked very happy with her company and care. She clearly loves animals and we are so thankful to have found her!!! Peace of mind=priceless👍”

“Caelyn was great. She was very loving, caring, patient, trustworthy taking care of my two cats. They got along well. She went above and beyond spending time with them, playing with them, checking in on them. Would highly recommend her to others. She was easy and flexible to coordinate logistics with. If anyone in or around Greenville needs help with their pets, I would highly recommend her. Thanks Caelyn.”

About: I have always had a pet growing up. I used to have cats when I was little and then eventually turned to dogs. Currently back at home I have three dogs that I love so so so much. Here in Greenville I share custody of a dog, Saint, with my boyfriend. I love to walk so that is no problem for me when it comes to walking dogs. I also worked as an assistant for almost two years where one of my main priorities was taking care of her pitty :) I currently work part time so my availability is pretty open! I spend a lot of my time outside on walks, so it only makes sense that I open the door to including pets on my walk. I do stay in an apartment so I don't have yard space for pets, but I am willing to drive to dog parks or walking trails. I also don't mind going to other peoples home to care for their animals.
About: I took care of several family dogs from the age of 10 to the age of 19. I have walked/played with/cleaned up after/fed Australian cattle dog mixes, Australian Shepherd mixes, an American Black Labrador , Shih Tzus, and Dachshunds. I'm used to both low and high energy dogs and have also worked with both ESAs and Service dogs. I work part time and my graduate classes are at night or online so my schedule is flexible during mornings, weekends, and afternoons. I can't do overnights or care in my own home due to my pets boundaries and needs. I will follow all safeguards given to me by the client and adhere to all care instructions. Based on the animals energy I will provide the proper enrichment and will always respect the animals boundaries. When I am taking care of your pet I will keep the space as picked up as I found it and will always clean up after the pet including cleaning litter boxes and making sure to pick up on dog walks and in outside play areas. Harnesses and collars will be put on as instructed and I will make sure to keep distance from other animals on walks to protect your pet.
About: I’ve been surrounding by dogs my whole life and I love animals. I have two dogs myself and I’m looking to spread my love with yours when in need. I’m currently not working, but also starting up my own hobby. This hobby does not require a lot of my time, but rather my machine once I get it printing. I have a very flexible schedule now and would like to make some money until real production starts. I have a fenced in back yard and two loving dogs. I also live in a great neighborhood for walking and if they require running, well I can do that too. My dogs are very clean and sweet. They love there mommy and I can live yours too.
“Clarisa was awesome! She gave us such a good peace of mind with all of her detailed updates and pictures/videos when watching our two cats. I gave her very detailed instructions and she followed them so well! Would 10000% book again!!!”

About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs since I was 12 years old! I’ve had experience with both mini poodles and toy poodles, and I currently have both a toy poodle and a mini poodle of my own. Having dogs throughout my life has taught me how important patience, attention, exercise, and lots of love are when caring for someone’s pet. I’m currently a college student, so my schedule varies depending on the day, but I have plenty of availability for pet sitting and dog walking. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I’m usually finished with classes around 1 PM. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I’m usually finished around 5 PM. My weekends are completely open, and I’m happy to work with your schedule whenever possible. Since I live in a dorm, I’m unable to have pets stay inside with me, but I’d be more than happy to spend the day outside with your pet, take them on walks, play with them, visit a dog park, or give them lots of attention and exercise. I’m also available for house sitting when my schedule allows! I take your pet’s safety and comfort very seriously. Since I live in a college dorm, I’m unable to provide overnight boarding in my own home, but I’m happy to provide dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting at your home. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine, make sure they get plenty of exercise and attention, and follow any specific instructions you leave for me. I’m also happy to keep you updated with pictures and messages while you’re away so you know your pet is doing well.
About: Pets are the absolute best. I’ve been a dog lover my whole life. I grew up with dogs, watched my neighbors dogs and have 2 dogs of my own. As a school teacher, I'm off for the summer, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve! Whether it's walks, playtime, cuddles, or sticking to their normal routine, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home while you're away. I know how important it is to trust someone in your home and with your beloved pet. I'll always treat your home with respect and care for your pet as if they were my own. I'll follow your pet's feeding, walking, medication, and potty routines, and I'll send photo updates after each visit so you can have peace of mind while you're away. My goal is to keep your pet happy, comfortable, and stress-free in their familiar environment.
“Jenna was great with our dogs and cat and sent lots of photos during the visits! She dropped in a few times during the day and was very communicative! Will book her again for drop ins!”

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
