“Rob was great with our girls. This was an acclimation visit to familiarize. This family is very understanding of special needs & requests. Our pups were well taken care of. We believe we have found our care team.”

“Monica and her husband were the absolute best!! During our meet and greet I immediately felt comfortable with them. I have had a previous meet and greet experience where I felt uncomfortable within a few minutes and felt pressured to choose that home. Monica let Peyton become comfortable with her and her husband before introducing their fur baby. We stayed long enough to ensure everyone would be a good fit for each other. I received videos and pictures while Peyton was there and I could tell he was receiving plenty of love and cuddles whoch was very important to me. My fur baby did not seem stressed or uncared for when I picked him up. If you want a good home for your fur baby and piece of mind while you are away, I would definitely recommend Monica. You will not regret your choice.”

“Words can’t express how impressed I am with Floras sitting skills and environment. Her family is very sweet and I can tell my cat was happy when I picked her up. Daily pics and updates from Flora were also well appreciated. The communication was great. Definitely recommend this sitter and will use again in the future!”
“Remi and Harper had a fabulous stay over the holidays! It was so comforting getting daily messages and pictures to show that my pups were in good hands while I was away! We were even able to set up a meet and greet prior to their stay to ensure all the dogs got along! I would highly recommend Jessica for any future boarding needs - I’m already looking at their availability for our trip in the spring!”

About: I’ve worked at a pet boarding and grooming facility for the last 2 years, and have done volunteering and sitting previously. I’ve cared for many dogs ranging from 8 weeks to in their late senior years. I have experience with disabled dogs as well as administering medication by mouth. I’m currently working and in school part time, so I have some extra time throughout the week and weekends! I am available any weekday except Wednesdays and Fridays. When I’m not in school or working, I would love to care for your pup! I would follow the feeding instructions, making sure your pup has food and water at all necessary times. I would make sure their space is clean, and that they are let out to use the bathroom periodically. To ensure that your pup is safe and comfortable I would love to know their typical habits and behaviors around your home.
About: I’ve been surrounding by dogs my whole life and I love animals. I have two dogs myself and I’m looking to spread my love with yours when in need. I’m currently not working, but also starting up my own hobby. This hobby does not require a lot of my time, but rather my machine once I get it printing. I have a very flexible schedule now and would like to make some money until real production starts. I have a fenced in back yard and two loving dogs. I also live in a great neighborhood for walking and if they require running, well I can do that too. My dogs are very clean and sweet. They love there mommy and I can live yours too.
“Maria was great!! Took amazing care of my dog when I was away for the summer. I highly recommend. Great service and was always sending pictures and updates on how my dog was doing!! ☺”

I have four dogs of my own and live on 7 acres in Chocowinity, giving dogs plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors, play, and get exercise. I offer a safe, comfortable, and fun environment for pets through boarding, daycare, and pet sitting. I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I’m happy to follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any special care your pet may need. I love taking dogs outside, going for walks, playing, and spending quality time with them. I also enjoy taking dogs to the park when appropriate so they can get extra exercise and stimulation. Whether your pup needs a place to stay while you’re away, some daytime company and playtime, or someone dependable to care for them in your home, I’ll treat them like one of my own. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, loved, comfortable, and well cared for while they’re with me. I know how important it is to feel confident that your pets are in good hands, and I’ll do my best to make their stay a happy one

Freddy is a godsend! He was so wonderful with our girl! He was so kind, attentive and patient with her! I highly, highly recommend him! If I could give him 10 stars out of 5 I would! Dogs know people and Roxie was so comfortable with Freddy from the first minute she met him! Thank you Freddy! 🙏🙏
Flora is a wonderful person. Max is in anxiety for our current family situation. His original owner is out of town, that's why sometimes max react when everyone go too close to him unexpectedly. Flora understand very well Max situation and take care of him with love and care. I loved her service. She is also very knowledgeable about dog. She provides update regularly about Max. Considering Max situation she still suggest me alternative way to help him. She has wonderful big back yard. I suggest her house for pet day care, boarding.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Twin Creek home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Twin Creek.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Twin Creek sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
