About: I've been around dogs my entire life and have cared for my own golden retriever, Sunny, since he was a puppy. Sunny is now 5 years old, well-behaved, and friendly with other pets. My experience includes daily walks, playtime, and creating a safe, loving environment for dogs of all temperaments. I work from home full-time, which means your pet will get plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. I walk Sunny twice daily—morning and evening—and love spending time outdoors. My schedule is flexible, so I can accommodate a variety of pet care needs, including drop-ins, walks, or overnight stays. About: When in the care of my partner and I, pets are enriched and have plenty of opportunity for activity. If your dog enjoys swimming, I can take them to a nearby creek to play. I have a large yard for playing fetch, or just hanging out, and a spunky lab mix that is happy to play tug-o-war. I've always had dogs and cats, and for a short time, pet rats (they're lovely!). My goal is for your pet to feel just as happy and secure with me as they do with you. My schedule varies since I’m in physician assistant school, but I can always make time! On weekdays, I’m available for walks/ drop-ins in the early mornings, afternoons, or evenings depending on the day. I’m also available most weekends. As the pet parent to a medical fragile dog myself, I know how hard it is to trust a stranger with the furry members of your family. I’m a lifelong dog person and a first-time Rover-er, but not new to responsible, informed care. I have hands-on experience and professional training in leash skills, fear-free methods, enrichment, and working with anxious, spicy, or high-energy pups. I work from home and have a flexible weekday schedule. I’m fully available for walks and drop-ins Monday through Friday before 4pm. I also have some evening and weekend availability (just check the calendar). Once we’ve gotten to know each other, I do offer house sitting and boarding for existing clients who need ongoing support. These days I live with a clingy rescue pit and the occasional foster dog. I volunteer regularly at RACC, walking dogs of every size, breed, and temperament—from skittish lapdogs to 100-lb giants trying to live out their sled-dogs fantasies. Some evening and weekend availability too. If possible, I'd love to meet your pup before we become best friends. Your dog’s care is always tailored to their personality, needs, and your preferences. If they thrive on routine, we’ll stick to their neighborhood route like clockwork. If they need leash practice, we’ll focus on skills. If they need more mental stimulation, I’ve got enrichment exercises, training games, and treat puzzles ready to go. If your dog needs exposure and socialization, we can head to a public park for controlled distance desensitization and positive reinforcement. And if they’ve got energy to burn, we’ll hit the trails for a hike that leaves us both happily exhausted. For drop-in visits, I can keep things chill or playful but always structured. I’m happy to work on crate manners, polite doorway exits, and other small habits that make a big difference. Or we can just hang out. Cuddles (if that’s their vibe), companionship, a good sniff around the yard, and a reminder that even when you’re away, someone still loves them a lot. Safety is always my top priority. Your dog will never be off-leash outside the home, and they’ll always be supervised, even if we’re just doing yard zoomies or sunbathing like royalty.

I'm currently in the midst of changing careers from non-profit marketing work to social work! I'm a full time student (again) and have major flexibility to take care of your loved ones! I live in a second-story apartment in Carytown with access to an unfenced backyard area that's great for quick potty breaks. For longer walks, I love exploring the walkable, dog-friendly streets of Carytown—it's one of my favorite ways to bond with pups! I'm also just a five-minute drive from Barker Field Dog Park, which is a fantastic space for safe, off-leash play if that's something your dog enjoys (with your permission, of course). At home, I prioritize making pets feel comfortable and loved, whether that means sticking to their usual routine, offering lots of snuggles, or making time for play. My two dogs are friendly and love spending time with other dogs, so if your pup is social, they’ll feel right at home.
