About: My family has had dogs since I was born, and since I was 10 I took on jobs looking after the dogs in my neighborhood. I have a lot of availability during weekdays and nights, as well as general flexibility in my schedule! I also have a car so I am able to get where I need to go in a punctual manner. I have a fenced in yard, and my house is right next to a wooded park that is great for walks. As for cats, I have a large bedroom, and well as some baby fences I could use to block doors to the outside. I also have cat toys!

About: I’ve personally have two dogs and one cat, but taken care of many more. Puppies, potty accidents, senior dogs, grouchy cats. I love them all! Looking to gain more professional experience with different animal personalities. I am a former dog foster for the Richmond SPCA and Beagles & Bentleys. My availability is mostly open during the week! For weekends, I might need request decently far an advance as I do Rover as my side job. My home has already been made pet friendly and has the space to accommodate 1-2 more pets (depending on size) as I do have two of my own. I like to get a sense of how the pet feels about his / my home to establish their level of comfortability and trust.

About: I’ve been dog-sitting for about 5 years now. I’ve mainly taken care of small to medium sized dogs but I’m open to looking after larger dogs as well. I am very reliable and have a lot of energy to keep your dog entertained throughout the day. I love going for walks and and going to dog parks if allowed by the owner. I live in an apartment and it’s dog-friend and the apartment has a dog area where they can relieve themselves. I live in a studio apartment but there’s plenty of open space where your pup can lounge around. I’m very attentive of your dogs needs, so I stay on top of taking them out for walks and making sure their water bowl is kept full and following their feeding schedule. Also open to grooming and showering your dog, especially if they are staying overnight with me. If your pup is energetic and loves to play we will be a great match!!

About: I’ve had pets nearly my whole life and have been known to struggle to walk past an animal in need. This means rescuing an injured squirrel, a Cooper’s hawk, an opossum, and more, going the extra mile even when it was deeply inconvenient for me to do so. I also grew up attending zoo camp and then volunteering at a zoo from age 5 to 14, caring for a wide range of animals. I have worked with high energy pitties, a blind and anxious German shepherd, birds, cuddly kitties, fearful kitties, diabetic kitties, rabbits, and others. I have administered shots, IVs, medications, eye drops, and more. I am persistent and typically can win over even the shyest and most anxious fur baby. I have a genuine love for caring for pets and would be honored to care for yours! I am currently carefully thinking about my next full time role and working part time. My partner is an immigrant seeking employment during a time when that is extremely difficult due to the political situation. Any supplemental income is incredibly helpful for me as we navigate. I have a reliable vehicle, plenty of time to play with your pets, and love to love on them. I have a reliable car and I keep my word. I am communicative, honest, and truly love animals. Roommates make personal boarding unsafe and unpredictable, However I have reliable transportation and will be there to take care of your pup (or kitty) right on time for walks, overnights, visits, and long term stays.

About: I am a cat mom to my son Figaro who I have to brush his teeth and trim his nails every two weeks so I am able to do that for your pet too! Growing up I had a Maltese named Angel and I was the primary caregiver for the last few years of her life so I don't mind older pets. I have experience pet sitting all types of kitties as well as chocolate labs and yorkies. I give very good tummy rubs and will help practice learning tricks. I love cats and dogs equally and will be happy to give your fur babies all the cuddles they need. I am a graduate student and my week and weekends are very flexible. My schedule is basically mine to adjust as I want with only 1 class and a few meetings on Tues-Fri. I like to take breaks in my day to walk dogs for exercise or play with cats. I am also a night owl and do not mind late night check ins if needed. I would go to my clients home because I have one cat at home now. I make sure the pets feel comfortable. I will give lots of pats and cuddles and give food and treats that are pre-approved by the pet parent.
