About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life of all sizes. I grew up with a great pyranees/ border collie and have a dog of my own who is a dachshund. I dog sat for my neighbor, friends, and relatives frequently. I also have experience in sitting for cats as well. I can also help your dog learn new tricks! I taught my dog how to sit, stay, lay down, paw, roll over, follow, and wait all within 6 months. I am currently a part-time employee and have a dog of my own, so I have plenty of time and experience in pet care to give your furbaby the care they deserve! I’m flexible to what they need. Whatever needs you have for your furbaby I can meet! My dog is very particular, so I am patient, willing and understanding to what your pet needs.
“Jenna, she went above and beyond her duties as a dog walker. She was very kind to Trevor, who is kennel anxiety dog. That has been in Hanover County animal shelter for way too long so this beautiful vibrant, sweet sweet dog they decided to euthanize so I have been walking him so that he won’t have kennel. Anxiety and Jen was a wonderful part of this. thank you so much and a shout out to Jenna”

“Kacey was great! Professional, responsible, and highly communicative. Most importantly, the dogs immediately loved her! Would definitely hire again.”

“Chynna took great care of my Junie while I was away. She followed all instructions, sent me lots of photos, and kept me informed on how Junie was doing on their walks. I will definitely be using Chynna again for any dog sitting needs!”

“Rachel was fantastic in taking care of my fur baby Nappa. He can be overly excited and pull when he walks but Rachel loved him like her own. Thank you so much for loving my boy and keeping my mind at ease while my family and I were away.”

“Kayley has been so patient and sweet to my Ellie, even when Ellie hasn’t been the sweetest to her. She makes sure the pups are as comfy and happy as can be!”

“I have an anxious rescue (Sir Kitt) and Kirby has been absolutely wonderful with her! When we started, Kitt had to be coaxed to walk. She was so scared of everyone. Recently, Kitt has come out of her chill spot when she hears Kirby come in! Kirby is wonderful with her and we will be booking again.”

“Kudos to Keith! I highly recommend him. I have an older special needs dog who still has some pep in his step and loves going for walks. I can't always get out with my pooch, but luckily Keith has stepped in to help on a regular basis. Keith has a good understanding of my dog's needs. During walks he keeps me posted with photos or a video. Upon return, he shares helpful observations about my dog's behavior. It is a comfort to know that my dog is in such capable hands!”

About: I’ve been dog-sitting for about 5 years now. I’ve mainly taken care of small to medium sized dogs but I’m open to looking after larger dogs as well. I am very reliable and have a lot of energy to keep your dog entertained throughout the day. I love going for walks and and going to dog parks if allowed by the owner. I live in an apartment and it’s dog-friend and the apartment has a dog area where they can relieve themselves. I live in a studio apartment but there’s plenty of open space where your pup can lounge around. I’m very attentive of your dogs needs, so I stay on top of taking them out for walks and making sure their water bowl is kept full and following their feeding schedule. Also open to grooming and showering your dog, especially if they are staying overnight with me. If your pup is energetic and loves to play we will be a great match!!

Washington Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
Conrad stepped in at our late notice and took fantastic care of our two dogs! They were staying with a sitter who could not walk them, and Conrad came to the rescue with walking them for a full hour every day, reliably and on-time! He communicates really well, is really responsible, and clearly has experience with dogs. One of my dogs is also dog-reactive, and Conrad knew just how to manage any reactive signs on walks and keeps distance from other animals. He listens well to instructions and is just a great dude. I’m happily looking to making him our regular go-to pet sitter and walker whenever we need support!
