About: Hello! I am new to Rover but I have been working with animals all my life from a very young age and I have been pet sitting for about 4 years. There were always pets in the home, mostly dogs and cats all my life and I have thorough experience being around animals and knowing how to take care of them. I took a major part in taking care of the puppies that my family bred most of my childhood, I have experience in working with a variety of animals such as dogs, cats, reptiles, roosters/chickens, horses, guinea pigs, etc. Besides working with my own pets I have been pet sitting for around 4 years now and have become very comfortable working with other peoples pets. I pride myself on my attention to detail and focus on making sure your pet/pets are as comfortable as possible. I am currently a student but most of my classes are online so I am very flexible and available pretty much every day of the week currently. “We were staying in an Airbnb out of state and were in need of a Pet Sitter for a family wedding and, after reading reviews, we found Carla. Carla came a few weeks before her scheduled time to stay with our golden doodle and we felt immediately at ease with her. She was easy to reach and communicative throughout the whole process. When the time came for her to watch our pup, she arrived in ample time so that we did not feel stressed about leaving on time. She immediately began playing with our dog. Throughout the stay she sent pics and we felt very at ease. Our pup was happy and had a lot of play time. Upon return, the house was clean, bed was stripped and everything was in order. If we were to return to the area, we would absolutely book Carla again in a heartbeat!”

About: I’ve never not had a pet in my house hold, owning cats, dogs, and even lizards and hamsters over the years. Growing up I also pet sat for birds, snakes, dogs, cats, and fish as well as worked on a horse farm for two summers. My own personal dog is a senior lad at the age of 14 years and have a kitten at home. Ive worked with puppies, adult dogs, and senior pups, kitten and full grown cats. I love to spend time playing and petting them (if thats what they want) and will do my best to love them a fraction of what you do to keep them happy while you’re away! I work in Portland until 4pm every week day and get back to the area around 5. I would be free to care for your pets from around 5:30pm-6:20am. I can feed, walk, brush, pet, and/or play with any of the animals you may have tailoring to whatever best suits their needs, I am an animal lover and want to best support the critters in any way I can in your absence.

About: I have had dogs and taken care of dogs and cats since childhood. In my more recent years I have dog sat for family members and neighbors. I have enjoyed being able to give peace of mind to them knowing their pets are safe, happy, and cared for. Owning a dog and cat myself I understand the stress and fear of having to leave your pets. Whether it’s work, vacation and other life events it can feel like you’re leaving a piece of your heart behind while you’re away. I strive to bridge that gap and be able to provide peace of mind. My dog is a rescue and came to me with some behavioral challenges: fear, reactivity, resource guarding and separation anxiety. Since being with me he is a thriving boy with manners and is learning new skills and tricks every week! That being said I don’t scare easily and have experience managing a variety of behaviors. I know from experience leaving a pet that has some big feelings at times can be even more challenging and thats where I come in. To offer you peace of mind knowing your dog or cat will be safe and cared for with me. I firmly believe in the saying no bad dogs and would love to get the opportunity to take one worry off your plate while you are away! I have summers off and am able to be around as much or as little as needed for your pet in the summers as that is a busy time for vacations. I do structured schedules with play, train walk and rest times with pets. I can also create scheduled enrichment times throughout our time together. I try to cater what we are doing based on needs of the dog so they are fulfilled.

About: I've been dog/cat/petsitting for the past 12 years. I started when I was 16 with my neighbor's cat, and grew from there. Over the years, I have also worked at a doggy daycare as a mischief manager, a vet's office as a tech, and a shelter as a med tech. I do have experience (4 years) of injections and administering medicine. Above all, I also just have a huge heart for animals. Plain and simple, they all deserve love and care. I work remotely as a freelancer, and so I am able to still provide full attention to your animals during the day. Working my own schedule means I mold it to your pet's schedule! About: I have experience with animals from Great Danes to Fancy rats. I have training experience as well with things such as potty training, walking etiquette, and a few show tricks. I have college classes in the afternoons but my mornings and nights are wide open on weekdays. As for weekends its just dependent on the day so I'll need advanced notice. I have a small yard, and within a quarter mile from the nearest park. I can give potty breaks ever hour if need be, and I'm great at matching an animals energy level.

About: I have worked with all kinds of animals in professional and non professional settings for years and have found that it is my passion. I am excited to work with your furry friends! I am an online college student so I have an abundance of flexibility and availability to work with animals during the work week and possible weekends. About: I have a history of pet grooming but I currently do not groom. I’ve worked in kennels, dog salons, and around dogs in general for many years. I treat all animals as if they were my own Right now I have a full time job so I can walk dogs after work and on the weekends ! I can also come to your home to dog sit / drop in/ etc. I like to stick to a dogs schedule as it stands already, plays anything else the client would like me to do. I am fine with having playtime, outside time, rest periods, walkies, etc.

About: I’ve had pet dogs and cats since I was 5 years old. I’ve always loved taking care of them, and being someone that they can rely on. Caring for animals is a big part of my life and something I hope to be forever passionate about! I am working full-time for the summer. I am a college student who will be going back to part time in the fall to finish my last year. I’m mostly free in the evenings and on odd days during the week since I work a rotating schedule. The fall will look different as I’ll be working part-time while also going to school! I’ve been handling large dogs since I was a young teenager, so I’m very comfortable with all types of breeds. I’d consider myself very gentle when it comes to animal care.
