She made sure my older dog took all of his medication and got him to eat his food (he doesn't always eat much while away). I got updates and photos/videos throughout the weekend. About: People say I am an animal whisper. Specifically pets. However, I don’t consider myself a whisperer. I call it RESPECT. I treat any animal like it’s my own (I have 5) and I get on the same level with the furry friend (both literally and intellectually). And yes, people may think I’m weird because I talk to the animals out loud but I believe animals who are living organisms (like people) get RESPECT! I currently work part-time. But that won’t stop me. I have 4 days off usually through out the week. Depending on my schedule I’m going to provide services on my days off of my part time job. If a time will not work for both you and me then I will make a priority to try and arrange a time to provide a service as soon as possible. I will walk your furry companions as long as you would like. If it’s really hot out no matter if it’s a short or long walk, I can bring a container and a thing of water as well as during the walk. I will provide rest breaks in the shade. Pet sitting I will play with them, make sure there food is always available (clients preference) and if they need to go out I’ll be happy to take them out.

My dog is often nervous/anxious, but she settled into Sam's care without a single issue. The environment (no other pets, but plenty of people and attention) was perfect for my dog. I'll be booking Sam whenever I can in the future, can't recommend her highly enough.”

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was a little kid and helped my parents at my uncle’s farm. I truly love all animals and enjoy their individual personalities. I have experience dog/house sitting dating back to 2000 in the Camden area. Since we moved last year, I’m looking to meet new clients and help you with your furry loved one in the Waterville area. I worked in animal hospitals in my early 20s so I have a great wealth of knowledge to draw from in many areas (but not exotic pets, as none of the veterinarians I worked with had that as a specialization.) I’m currently working from home doing some freelance work and have many opportunities to go for walkies. We are currently without a dog in our home, and I’m looking to get out more. Any pet I take care of is treated as if they’re a member of the family. I believe in spoiling pets with love, but keeping the boundaries of the owner so as not to undo any training. Reinforcing good behavior is always a priority.

Colleen kept us up to date on his activities and was very accommodating as we traveled back to Maine from international connections. She's easy going and sincerely has a great rapport with dogs. “Brutus had another wonderful stay with Elizabeth and came back home happy and healthy. Brutus has colitis so its important that he eats only certain foods and Elizabeth did this perfectly for us.
