About: I absolutely adore animals. I recently got my masters degree in natural resources and am now working for the state in Augusta. I grew up looking after my neighbors' dogs and cats and over the years I have looked after the pets of many of my friends. This always brought me joy and so I would love the opportunity to take care of your furry family members :) I would happily take your dog on walks and hikes, play fetch, and give them lots of love and attention. I promise to treat them as I would my own pets, which means an endless stream of love and attention. I currently workong full-time but work from home 3 days a week, so I have some flexibility in my availability for pet sitting. I recently had to say goodbye to my own sweet dog, so I am available to do drop in visits or walks, and could keep you pets at my house for overnight visits or stay at your house overnight. About: I have been taking care of cats my whole life from a young age and I have a cat of my own named Frankie who's a Maine coon. There have never not been cats in my home! I realized one of the biggest concerns for travelers was their dogs and the thought of having to use kennel services. Full care and integration into our daily routine if it works for your pet - we’re up early, and on the go - lots of socialization (or not, if that’s your pups jam!) play, enrichment time and experiences. This is my full-time commitment and passion. My background includes Grooming, Training, Seminar’s in dog behavior, pet CPR and first aid, and running a large boarding and grooming facility. I am Licensed by the State of Maine for boarding 🐾 I utilize a lot of tools to keep everyone happy, healthy, and safe - kennels, gates, double leashes, double fencing, cameras (indoor and out!) and a very specific routine that I have found works for this little home. Please be aware - dogs need to be kennel trained to board here. I DO use them at feed time, and for nap times as needed, to keep all the dogs in my care safe. I ask that you send your dogs meals pre-packed, or in a reasonable (for their stay) container. Please leave “favorites “ that cannot be replaced at home. This includes beds! I provide fresh, daily, clean toys and blankets, plus raised cot beds. Feed time is 2X per day, with 2X per day “stimulation” snacks prior to nap time. I provide all snacks, but need to know if your pup has a special diet. If your dog has separation anxiety, I really need to know. It doesn’t mean I won’t take your dog, but it DOES mean I have to structure things differently for that particular stay, and rates will be discussed. My own dog has SA, so I understand; I just need the information to plan accordingly.

About: I have been surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember. From yorkies, to our alaskan malamute, and many shelter dogs, I have seen it all. I have been working professionally with dogs for around a year now. I worked in a doggy daycare setting for 6 months, and have been working at a shelter ever since! These experiences have given me knowledge in how to better understand body language, social cues, behaviors, and fear free handling. Even before professional experience, I have been one of the primary caretakers to our family dogs, medicating, feeding, training, etc, is no foreign task to me:) I understand how stressful it is to trust a random person to take care of your animals, but I promise to care for your animal with the same patience, attention, and love, I give my own:) I currently have a completely open schedule, so I’m available most days and times! About: I’ve always grown up with dogs. Small and large I’ve worked with them. I walked dogs for my neighbors when I was in high school. I truly believe There is no greater joy than the joy brought to you by a dog. I hope Ripley and I have the privilege of spending quality time with your best friend.
