About: Professional Groomer, trainer, accepting pets in home for extended stay. Farm, fence, full play room, individualized care, puppies and aged dogs welcome! It’s a dog’s life 🐾 Full availability, 7 days a week - holidays included! Active home with quiet spaces and experienced care. Full care and integration into our daily routine if it works for your pet - we’re up early, and on the go - lots of socialization (or not, if that’s your pups jam!) play, enrichment time and experiences. This is my full-time commitment and passion. My background includes Grooming, Training, Seminar’s in dog behavior, pet CPR and first aid, and running a large boarding and grooming facility. I am Licensed by the State of Maine for boarding 🐾 I utilize a lot of tools to keep everyone happy, healthy, and safe - kennels, gates, double leashes, double fencing, cameras (indoor and out!) and a very specific routine that I have found works for this little home. Please be aware - dogs need to be kennel trained to board here. I DO use them at feed time, and for nap times as needed, to keep all the dogs in my care safe. I ask that you send your dogs meals pre-packed, or in a reasonable (for their stay) container. Please leave “favorites “ that cannot be replaced at home. This includes beds! I provide fresh, daily, clean toys and blankets, plus raised cot beds. Feed time is 2X per day, with 2X per day “stimulation” snacks prior to nap time. I provide all snacks, but need to know if your pup has a special diet. If your dog has separation anxiety, I really need to know. It doesn’t mean I won’t take your dog, but it DOES mean I have to structure things differently for that particular stay, and rates will be discussed. My own dog has SA, so I understand; I just need the information to plan accordingly.

I’m mindful of each pet’s comfort level and body language, especially when it comes to shy or energetic pets, and I adjust my approach to match what they need—whether it’s quiet company, active play, or just a little extra patience. For overnight stays, I create a peaceful and familiar atmosphere by keeping to your pet’s bedtime routine, favorite toys, and walking routes. I also provide regular updates so you know your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I'm a work at home pet mom with a large yard, lots of toys, and a calm and welcoming house. I've always had large dogs from mixed breeds to Great Danes, but love and appreciate all types of well mannered dogs. My house sits well off the road, so its quiet and I hike or trail walk almost daily. I am adept at giving medicine, cleaning wounds and dealing with incontinent dogs, but I will only board dogs who are respectful of my cats. I am currently working from home on my own schedule. Boarded dogs who enjoy car rides can come with me on errands or outings. While each day may different, my activities will be built around the needs of the animals I am caretaking, especially if separation anxiety is an issue. I will care for your animals as per your instructions and the capabilities of your pet. I do not have a fenced in yard, but have installed a run line in the past. If a dog is used to being crated, receiving treats, or sleeping on the couch - no problem. Conversely, I don't give animals people food, and if you want your pets to stay off furniture I will strictly honor that as well. My house is small but open, so it is easy to keep an eye on them.

About: Ever since the family cat had kittens when I was four years old, I have been drawn to the care of animals. Honoring the lives of pets as our friends has been a source of inspiration and therapy for myself personally. As a working artist, taking the time to care for animals has been such a privilege and the perfect change of pace while I continue to work on creative projects. I have a German Shepherd that I keep separated from the work I do with other animals. I am located at a small farmhouse in Augusta that has a huge yard with two a-joining fields. There is more than enough room to explore the surround with your pet. I am also an avid walker so exercise is big for me generally.

Im an artsy person; im in college for horticulture and I hope to work as an agricultural specialist. Veterinary assistant experience from York County Community College. About: I grew up with a yellow lab named Mo. I was an only child and he was quite truly my best friend. He passed away when I was sixteen. This past summer, my family and I got a new puppy from Midcoast Humane, his name is Sol. I don't know how I went eight years without such a buddy! Caring for a dog has been such an important part of my life, and has offered me so much fulfillment and joy. I would love the opportunity to care for your pets, and understand how important they are to your life and how important their happiness is! I currently have a flexible remote job. Although I do need to commit at least six hours Monday through Friday to my job, I have much space in between to care for, walk, play with, and adventure with your furry friend!! My weekends are completely available. Most preferabley, I would like to care for your dog in your own home. The house I live in currently does not have a fenced in area, however I would be open to talking through ways to make it work! About: I've been in contact with dogs as long as I've been walking and talking. My parents always had a pack of 4 running around the house and my brothers and I were frequently helping out with feeding, walking, etc. I used to spend a lot of my weekends with my mom’s poodle, trimming his unruly coat! I also have owned rats, fish and cats, and am comfortable caring for them, as well as birds. Just let me know if you have a smaller critter that needs some care! I have experience with farm animals such as horses and chickens, and am happy to watch goats, cows, you name it!! I work a remote job from home as a Peer Support Specialist, so while dog sitting, I can remain in your home all day to watch over your pets! I clicker train my dog Artemis and have mini training sessions everyday with her. I'm more than happy to include your dog if you let me know what you'd like to work on. I also have experience with reactive dogs, as my late mastiff mix came into my care with an extreme case of stranger reactivity that I managed. So, if your pup is timid or shy, I will for sure still take them on and give them the best experience catering to their specific fears. I know owning a reactive dog can be isolating and stressful.
