About: I've been taking care of pets for as long as I can remember. The first time I had a pet sitting job was when I was 9 and it was just a few houses down. My sister and I would walk the two dogs together but I was always in charge of cleanup! Since them I have watched dogs ranging from wiener dogs to labs and even cats and I love getting to know each animals personality! I'm currently a college student home for summer, so I'm looking to fill my summer days working with what I love most, animals! I have a flexible schedule and lots of time to devote to ensuring each pet and comfortable and happy! When I am petsitting I always ensure the animal has a fresh, clean water bowl, changing the water frequently and communicating with the pet owner the temperature and type of water their pet prefers. I make sure the pet is fed on a regular schedule for them and administer medicines with treats so the pet is not unsettled. On walks I typically walk the dogs until they go to the bathroom and then at least 1o minutes after so they don't feel rushed or like they can't go or else they will be brought inside. For cats and dogs I like to play with them and just pet them and make sure they are in good spirits and active.
