I’m am so glad we found you! My baby had so much fun with your family. She slept the whole night, which is not the usual for her. She usually wakes me up at 3/4 in the morning to play before I go to work. I would definitely recommend Michelle!

About: Looking for a calmer alternative to traditional boarding? I offer private, low-stress boarding in a quiet home environment designed for dogs who may not thrive in busy kennel settings. Whether your dog prefers a peaceful routine, needs a little extra space, or simply does better with individualized attention, my goal is to provide a safe and comfortable stay tailored to their needs. Unlike many boarding facilities, I accept only one client household at a time and also have a separate no-contact kennel available when appropriate to help dogs feel secure while maintaining safe management. I am the owner of Apex Canine Behavior & Training, am Pet First Aid & CPR certified, and have experience caring for puppies, seniors, dogs requiring medication, and those who benefit from a thoughtful, low-stress approach. Every dog is treated like an individual, and their comfort and wellbeing are always my top priorities. Dog care is my full-time profession, allowing me to provide frequent supervision, individualized attention, and a consistent daily routine. Because I accept only one client household at a time, each dog receives personalized care based on their normal schedule, including feeding, potty breaks, exercise, enrichment, medication (if needed), and plenty of downtime. My goal is to make your dog’s stay feel as comfortable and familiar as possible. Your dog’s safety and wellbeing are my highest priorities. I provide private boarding in a quiet home environment with no group boarding, helping reduce stress for dogs who may not do well in traditional kennel settings. I also have a separate no-contact kennel available when appropriate, allowing for safe management while giving dogs their own comfortable space. My kennel is equipped with 24/7 security cameras, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, air quality monitoring, and secure containment. I am Pet First Aid & CPR certified, experienced with medication administration, and every dog’s care is tailored to their individual needs and comfort level.

Hailey was fantastic with our pups. She sent us pictures and updates for them to help set our minds at ease. There was plenty of room outside for our dogs to run and play. When we picked up our dogs, they were happy and playful. They were very clearly well taken care of. We will definitely use Hailey again.

Minda was fantastic! She was so communicative, great at sending updates & pictures, and my pup came back happy, healthy, and well-fed. Minda was also very considerate about helping my pup acclimate to a new environment, which I loved because my dog gets a little nervous when she's dropped off for sitting. I will absolutely book Minda again!

This was the first time we've left Macey with someone other than family. Jane put us at ease when we came to meet her a few days before she assumed responsibility for our little girl. In addition, she provided updates and some photos so we could see that Macey adjusted to this environment. We couldn't have picked a better person to entrust with a dog that we love with all our heart. I highly recommend Jane to anyone needing to place a dog for boarding!

We left our fur baby with Megan for the weekend. We felt comfortable leaving her with Megan and we’re able to relax on our vacation knowing she was in capable hands. Megan sent us several pictures throughout the days, gave us numerous updates, took her to the dog park and even bathed her when she played in the mud! When we dropped her off she was immediately comfortable in Megan’s house and with her dogs. (Which helped us immensely!) I highly recommend Megan and would use her again for our next getaway!

About: Hey! My name is Jen. I am looking to do dog walking or drop ins for two families. I am a mental health professional and work odd hours, so I am interested in helping out a couple of families whom may need a little help with their pups- I love spending time with dogs! I have been doing this for over 17 years. I began by assisting a dog breeder of Jack Russells for a number of years, worked for a vet for a number of years, and have volunteered at a NH SPCA as a foster for their dogs. Your dogs safety and happiness are my number one priorities. I am currently looking for dogs in the concord NH area for walks, potty breaks and check-ins. I can administer medications, work on commands, and I am flexible to your schedule. Feel free to reach out with any questions :) thank you!

About: I like dogs and cats. Doesn’t matter what I watch but cats are easier for sure! I live in Weirs Beach where many peopke walk their dogs. My house is a perfect location for me to watch your pet if you go to a concert at Bank of NH Pavillion or go on the Mt Washington cruise ship or Train ride! Open for anything since I’m retired and have the time now. Prefer to watch pets in my own home but will watch in yours if your more comfortable I don’t have fenced in yard. I would need to walk dogs on leash or keep cats inside. I do have yard for dogs to wander around as long as they are tethered and I’m watching them

About: Hi my name is Sean. I recently graduated from RIT with a BFA in illustration. I love all animals and currently have a lot of flexibility to care for your pets while I am working from home. I grew up with two labradoodles and I have also cared for friends' animals while they have been away. One of my dogs has Addison's disease, so I am familiar with giving medication to pets. Spending time with animals brings me joy and does not seem like work - I enjoy playing with your animals, going on walks and I give a great belly rub! I am extremely responsible and will love your animals like my own...you might also find some sketches of your pet when you return home. I am an artist that is currently working from home in Quechee. I am extremely flexible and am available during the week and on weekends. I make my own hours so can work around your schedule. I live with my parents and two friendly labradoodles ages 8 and 12. I could board a dog in my home if he/she gets along well with other dogs and is house-trained. I prefer to care for your animals in your own home: I can do drop-in visits, walks and daytime or overnight house-sitting.

About: I’ve grown up with Siberian huskies and have a special fondness for large breed dogs. I walked dogs in my neighborhood as I grew up in Pennsylvania, and eventually made connections caring for and walking dogs all over the county. I adopted my golden retriever, Koji, in December 2024. I will treat your dog like my own, with lots of walks/hikes, time outside, pets, and snuggles. I have worked with dogs of all ages and breeds, and have experience training a family member’s dog and my own dog. I work per diem remotely and set my own schedule, so with enough notice, I have a lot of flexibility for pet care and other scheduling accommodations. I do need to work from my own home and need to be there to take care of my own dog. I will follow your instructions to make your pet feel as comfortable as possible with new people and in new environments. I know that all pets are different and I want to make sure that I am giving your pet personalized care and making a connection with both pet and owner. I will send you pictures and updates as preferred!

Very happy with first time boarding my dog with Althea. She took the time to learn about my dog’s needs and sent lots of pics so I could see my dog way enjoying herself. She spent time with my dog learning her personality and playing 1:1 with her. Also gave good feedback on her observations of my dog during her stay.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Pet Boarding in Wilmot on Rover is $72.15 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Pet Boarding easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Pet Boarding. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 123 sitters on Rover for Pet Boarding in Wilmot. About 91% of Wilmot sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in NH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
