“Faustine did an incredible job watching our high energy Aussie she made sure to send lots of cute pictures and updates and she certainly kept up with our fast paced boy! I highly recommend her for your Future trips and vacations to watch your dog!”

“This was Mabel's first stay with Diana and we are very appreciative of how everything went. She was flexible and patient with our requests, shared reassuring pictures while we were away, and Mabel seemed relaxed and happy when we picked her up. Thank you, Diana!”
“I’m am so glad we found you! My baby had so much fun with your family. She slept the whole night, which is not the usual for her. She usually wakes me up at 3/4 in the morning to play before I go to work. I would definitely recommend Michelle!”

“Jessica did great with the dogs and keeping me updated! They went on multiple hikes a day and came back to me tired. She was also very understanding and flexible surrounding pick up and drop off times”

About: Looking for a calmer alternative to traditional boarding? I offer private, low-stress boarding in a quiet home environment designed for dogs who may not thrive in busy kennel settings. Whether your dog prefers a peaceful routine, needs a little extra space, or simply does better with individualized attention, my goal is to provide a safe and comfortable stay tailored to their needs. Unlike many boarding facilities, I accept only one client household at a time and also have a separate no-contact kennel available when appropriate to help dogs feel secure while maintaining safe management. I am the owner of Apex Canine Behavior & Training, am Pet First Aid & CPR certified, and have experience caring for puppies, seniors, dogs requiring medication, and those who benefit from a thoughtful, low-stress approach. Every dog is treated like an individual, and their comfort and wellbeing are always my top priorities. Dog care is my full-time profession, allowing me to provide frequent supervision, individualized attention, and a consistent daily routine. Because I accept only one client household at a time, each dog receives personalized care based on their normal schedule, including feeding, potty breaks, exercise, enrichment, medication (if needed), and plenty of downtime. My goal is to make your dog’s stay feel as comfortable and familiar as possible. Your dog’s safety and wellbeing are my highest priorities. I provide private boarding in a quiet home environment with no group boarding, helping reduce stress for dogs who may not do well in traditional kennel settings. I also have a separate no-contact kennel available when appropriate, allowing for safe management while giving dogs their own comfortable space. My kennel is equipped with 24/7 security cameras, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, air quality monitoring, and secure containment. I am Pet First Aid & CPR certified, experienced with medication administration, and every dog’s care is tailored to their individual needs and comfort level.
“Hailey was fantastic with our pups. She sent us pictures and updates for them to help set our minds at ease. There was plenty of room outside for our dogs to run and play. When we picked up our dogs, they were happy and playful. They were very clearly well taken care of. We will definitely use Hailey again.”

“I would like to encourage everybody to let their dog with Christy. She was super nice, send me a lot of pictures of my dog daily and all her family played with my dog all day. She make me feel very comfortable and in peace to let my dog with her. She was extremely nice and I strongly recommend her. Thank you Christy”

“Minda was fantastic! She was so communicative, great at sending updates & pictures, and my pup came back happy, healthy, and well-fed. Minda was also very considerate about helping my pup acclimate to a new environment, which I loved because my dog gets a little nervous when she's dropped off for sitting. I will absolutely book Minda again!”

“Taylor took great care of our dog for 3 days. We received photo updates while our dog was in her care. Our dog left Taylor’s happy and not stressed. It was clear our dog was cared for and felt comfortable in the setting. We will absolutely use Taylor again in the future.”

“This was the first time we've left Macey with someone other than family. Jane put us at ease when we came to meet her a few days before she assumed responsibility for our little girl. In addition, she provided updates and some photos so we could see that Macey adjusted to this environment. We couldn't have picked a better person to entrust with a dog that we love with all our heart. I highly recommend Jane to anyone needing to place a dog for boarding!”

“We left our fur baby with Megan for the weekend. We felt comfortable leaving her with Megan and we’re able to relax on our vacation knowing she was in capable hands. Megan sent us several pictures throughout the days, gave us numerous updates, took her to the dog park and even bathed her when she played in the mud! When we dropped her off she was immediately comfortable in Megan’s house and with her dogs. (Which helped us immensely!) I highly recommend Megan and would use her again for our next getaway!”

About: Hi my name is Sean. I recently graduated from RIT with a BFA in illustration. I love all animals and currently have a lot of flexibility to care for your pets while I am working from home. I grew up with two labradoodles and I have also cared for friends' animals while they have been away. One of my dogs has Addison's disease, so I am familiar with giving medication to pets. Spending time with animals brings me joy and does not seem like work - I enjoy playing with your animals, going on walks and I give a great belly rub! I am extremely responsible and will love your animals like my own...you might also find some sketches of your pet when you return home. I am an artist that is currently working from home in Quechee. I am extremely flexible and am available during the week and on weekends. I make my own hours so can work around your schedule. I live with my parents and two friendly labradoodles ages 8 and 12. I could board a dog in my home if he/she gets along well with other dogs and is house-trained. I prefer to care for your animals in your own home: I can do drop-in visits, walks and daytime or overnight house-sitting.
About: I’ve grown up with Siberian huskies and have a special fondness for large breed dogs. I walked dogs in my neighborhood as I grew up in Pennsylvania, and eventually made connections caring for and walking dogs all over the county. I adopted my golden retriever, Koji, in December 2024. I have worked with dogs of all ages and breeds, and have experience training a family member’s dog and my own dog. I do need to work from my own home and need to be there to take care of my own dog. I will follow your instructions to make your pet feel as comfortable as possible with new people and in new environments. Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Wilmot
Very happy with first time boarding my dog with Althea. She took the time to learn about my dog’s needs and sent lots of pics so I could see my dog way enjoying herself. She spent time with my dog learning her personality and playing 1:1 with her. Also gave good feedback on her observations of my dog during her stay.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
