“Faustine did an incredible job watching our high energy Aussie she made sure to send lots of cute pictures and updates and she certainly kept up with our fast paced boy! I highly recommend her for your Future trips and vacations to watch your dog!”

“Lucia went above and beyond what I expected for someone looking after my dog. She is very calm and has a exceptionally clean home. I received daily pictures and updates as well. She will be only one looking after my moose for now on!”

“Our pups recently had their second overnight with Meredith. She provides very honest feedback about their stays- the fact is, our pups would rather be with us than away from us. But we know they are safe and well cared for with Meredith. She is kind and consistent with them and we know they will settle in over time. We are very happy to have Meredith care for our dogs.”

“I’m am so glad we found you! My baby had so much fun with your family. She slept the whole night, which is not the usual for her. She usually wakes me up at 3/4 in the morning to play before I go to work. I would definitely recommend Michelle!”

“Hailey was fantastic with our pups. She sent us pictures and updates for them to help set our minds at ease. There was plenty of room outside for our dogs to run and play. When we picked up our dogs, they were happy and playful. They were very clearly well taken care of. We will definitely use Hailey again.”

“Christy was awesome. Clearly the best person I could have hoped to leave Buddy with during our ski trip. She actually made a better effort to send pics and updates about my dog than I did for the parents of the 8 extra kids that spent the week skiing with us!”

“Jane is a lovely and experienced dog sitter. My little puppy was very excited and energetic to see a cat that was in Jane's home. Jane was skillful in calming down my puppy and making them get along. My puppy had a pleasant stay in Jane's home for a few days. Jane is very easy to work with too. We had some schedule changes and communicated to Jane, and she was quick in responding and working out our schedule.”

“My spouse and I recently had the pleasure of entrusting our two beloved dogs to Susan while we were on vacation. In the past, the thought of leaving our boys with someone else made us uneasy, which often deterred us from taking trips. However, from the moment we met Susan, her warm demeanor and obvious love for animals put us at ease. Susan is the quintessential "dog person." Her natural affinity for dogs, combined with her loving care, made us feel confident in leaving our pets in her hands. She updated us regularly, which eased our minds and allowed us to fully enjoy our vacation. We returned to find our dogs happy, well-cared-for, and clearly fond of Susan. We can't recommend Susan highly enough. Her exceptional care has finally given us the freedom to plan vacations without worrying about our furry family members. We look forward to entrusting our dogs to Susan's care in the future, knowing they are in the best of hands.”

“Jessica did great with the dogs and keeping me updated! They went on multiple hikes a day and came back to me tired. She was also very understanding and flexible surrounding pick up and drop off times”

“Charles took great care of Gus for the night. Was very responsive when I reached out. He took Gus on a nice sniffing adventure and let Gus cuddle with him all night. next time I am in the area I will definitely be reaching out again.”

About: I’ve grown up with Siberian huskies and have a special fondness for large breed dogs. I walked dogs in my neighborhood as I grew up in Pennsylvania, and eventually made connections caring for and walking dogs all over the county. I adopted my golden retriever, Koji, in December 2024. I will treat your dog like my own, with lots of walks/hikes, time outside, pets, and snuggles. I have worked with dogs of all ages and breeds, and have experience training a family member’s dog and my own dog. I work per diem remotely and set my own schedule, so with enough notice, I have a lot of flexibility for pet care and other scheduling accommodations. I do need to work from my own home and need to be there to take care of my own dog. I will follow your instructions to make your pet feel as comfortable as possible with new people and in new environments. I know that all pets are different and I want to make sure that I am giving your pet personalized care and making a connection with both pet and owner. I will send you pictures and updates as preferred!
About: Hi my name is Sean. I recently graduated from RIT with a BFA in illustration. I love all animals and currently have a lot of flexibility to care for your pets while I am working from home. I grew up with two labradoodles and I have also cared for friends' animals while they have been away. One of my dogs has Addison's disease, so I am familiar with giving medication to pets. Spending time with animals brings me joy and does not seem like work - I enjoy playing with your animals, going on walks and I give a great belly rub! I am extremely responsible and will love your animals like my own...you might also find some sketches of your pet when you return home. I am an artist that is currently working from home in Quechee. I am extremely flexible and am available during the week and on weekends. I make my own hours so can work around your schedule. I live with my parents and two friendly labradoodles ages 8 and 12. I could board a dog in my home if he/she gets along well with other dogs and is house-trained. I prefer to care for your animals in your own home: I can do drop-in visits, walks and daytime or overnight house-sitting.
“My Aussie had a wonderful stay and experience with Taylor. Her home is in a nice neighborhood and her fenced in yard is awesome. She is skilled in Dog Craft, and truly loves animals!”

“Heather was very quick to respond when I was looking for a dog sitter. She is very responsive and always kept me updated! My dog had a little upset stomach and she did give him some pumpkin puree :) I would definitely rebook with Heather and highly recommend!!”

About: I grew up around dogs my whole life as I have lived on a school campus! Dogs are something that I have always wanted, but never got the chance to have. The biggest thing that sets me apart is that I have plenty of love left to give to your pet! As a college student I have Friday-Sundays off therefor I have a lot of free time to play around with dogs! I also live with 7 other girls who would be more than happy to have a lil pup in town! I am willing to stay overnight at owners house if that is needed! If pets are to come to my apartment, they would have plenty of outdoor space to play around safely!
“Becky had great communication and was flexible when I needed to make a change to our reservation. More importantly, our dogs were obviously happy in her care. We would book with Becky and Ben again!”

“We left our fur baby with Megan for the weekend. We felt comfortable leaving her with Megan and we’re able to relax on our vacation knowing she was in capable hands. Megan sent us several pictures throughout the days, gave us numerous updates, took her to the dog park and even bathed her when she played in the mud! When we dropped her off she was immediately comfortable in Megan’s house and with her dogs. (Which helped us immensely!) I highly recommend Megan and would use her again for our next getaway!”

Wilmot pet parents share their Rover experiences
I have never been able to travel without my husky mix because of his high anxiety, until we met Greta! We received tons of pictures of him, napping, cuddling with the family, and going out on three amazing walks a day. It’s a beautiful quiet location and Greta is a true dog person. I’m planning all my trips around her in the future.

Althea took care of our 2 cavvies for three nights. She sent us pictures of their activities throughout their visit. We really liked that she took them on hikes and that they got to socialize with other dogs outside. We will bring them back next time we need to go out of town.
