About: I am delighted to introduce myself as the ideal caretaker for your beloved cats, dogs, horses, homes and farms. With a genuine passion for animals and a wealth of experience as a previous horse property owner and lifelong pet owner, I am committed to providing top-notch care that goes beyond the ordinary. I'll be honest, my best friend, "Max" of 13+ years passed away in December of '25. He went everywhere with me. I miss having him to just dote on him and of course his company. I also have a 17.2 hand Thoroughbred who in Florida doing USEF shows until next spring when he will come back to Texas and retire, so it's just me now, an empty nester, available to care for your dog or horses outside of my home. I do this to earn extra funds to get back to horse rescue and because I just love being with animals! Why Choose Me? Passion for Animals: My love for dogs, and horses extends beyond the ordinary – it's a calling. I have rescued several horses and dogs over the years. I'll treat each of your pets as my own - with respect, love and happiness. Extensive Experience: With years of hands-on experience with horses and dogs, I have honed my skills to meet the unique needs of each furry friend. Tailored Care Plans: I understand that every dog, and horse is unique, each with its own personality and preferences. That's why I specialize in creating customized care plans to cater to the individual needs of your cherished companions. Please let me know what your pet(s) needs are. In-Home Comfort: Recognizing the importance of familiarity for your pets, I offer in-home services that allow them to stay in their own home and comfortable surroundings. This minimizes stress and ensures a smooth and enjoyable experience for your furry family members. Since selling my horse property, I no longer provide care in my own home. Safety First: Your pets' safety is my priority. Whether it's a daily walk or in-home stay for your dog, or tending to your horse's well-being, I am attentive and make your fur baby's care my #1 priority. Reliable and Trustworthy: Punctuality, dependability, and transparency are at the core of my services. You can trust me to follow your instructions meticulously, keep you updated on your pets' well-being with photos and a daily report upon your request, and provide the care they deserve. Hand-On, Holistic Approach: Beyond the basics, I strive to create an enriching experience for your pets, incorporating playtime, and affection into their daily routine. Animals are family. By choosing me as your pet caretaker, a non-smoker, non-drug user, and empty nester, you are selecting a dedicated pet lover who not only meets the essential needs of your dogs, and horses but also goes the extra mile to ensure their happiness and well-being. I look forward to the opportunity to build a lasting relationship with both you and your cherished pets. Thanks for considering and trusting me to care for your animals and home. I am an artist and also do photography, so you are guaranteed to get some nice photographs or possibly some photographic art of your pet(s)! * References available. Re: Stay at customer's home or leave during day: Depending on distance and situation, I will work with you to provide the best care and what works best for you and your pets. Petsitting not only provides pet owners with comfort knowing their animals are not left alone while away, it also provides companionship for me as a pet sitter and caretaker. Working from home and remotely provides a unique advantage when it comes to integrating pet care into my work and leisure days. The flexibility allows for a seamless blend of work responsibilities and attentive pet care. Here's how I manage both work and care for your cats, dogs and horses: 1. Regular potty breaks. 2. Midday walks or exercise sessions. 3. Frequent cuddling, attention and care. 4. Routine feedings according to owner's provided instruction. Pets thrive on routine. I prefer to maintain regular feeding times, walks, and play sessions. This consistency helps your pets look forward to their daily activities and minimizes anxiety. While petsitting in your home and/or providing drop-in visits and walks, your pet will be my utmost concern in regards to his/her surroundings during walks, exercise, enclosed areas, etc. I do not take dogs to dog parks due to risk of injury or confrontations with other dogs.

Heather was absolutely wonderful!! We have a large, high energy dog and had never used anyone at our home to watch her and she exceeded our expectations. Our dog is kennel trained for when we are gone and Heather gave her lots of love and attention and spent a lot of time with her to keep her out of the kennel. She communicated with us every time she stopped by and provided us with updates and pictures. We cannot wait to use her again!

Kaesea is an animal lover to start with, which is important for when I hire someone to housesit and take care of our three large wonderful fur babies. They were well cared for fed, cared and loved. our most important thing is that our pups are cared for inner home and that someone stays the night with them and make sure that it’s all about them. The house was left an immaculate. She cleaned up after them and made sure that they were well cared for. I would use her again and I our most important thing is that our pups are cared for inner home and that someone stays the night with them and make sure that it’s all about them. The house was left a immaculate. She cleaned up after them and made sure that they were well cared for. I also could count on her when our flight was two hours late and we didn’t get home that evening until 11:15pm on the last day of our trip. We were gone for a total of seven days. I would highly recommend her for any of your animals that she would sit for job well done.

About: Ken and I grew up in loving homes with dogs and have had dogs all our married life. When I was growing up, we raised German Shorthair Pointers. Ken and I raised Shih Tzu's but had many other dogs along the way. We are retired and have lots of time for cuddles and kisses. Our backyard is enclosed for safe play and exercise. We have a great area to take dogs on a long or short walk. I would love to welcome your special baby(s) to join our family while you are out of town. Pictures and updates will be provided. They will have lots of love and attention, and we will make sure they feel comfortable just as if they were home. Dog sitting works very nicely into my daily routine. I do not have any job other than taking care of the dog or dog's I am sitting. I have a large grass back yard that they can run freely in and a pet they can play with. i can play games with the pet. They have free run of the house and if parents approve they can be on the furniture. They are fed separately.

Lauren is truly AMAZING. From the moment she arrived, she was so sweet, calm, and patient with our dogs. She took the time to get to know them, understood their little quirks, and made sure they felt comfortable and cared for the entire time. She took them out regularly, kept us updated, and treated them with so much kindness that it felt like they were her own. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. We will absolutely be using her again in the future.

About: I have a dog of my own, an Australian shepherd named Lady. I have taken care of a few dogs before and I quite enjoy it. I love and enjoy walking dogs. I also enjoy cats as well. I have had a cat for about 16 years. she was my very first pet ever to have. She has been with me since I was a baby. Sadly she passed in August of 2021. I can do the weekends from anytime. I can stop by after 6 o’clock to check up on your furry friends. But normally the weekends is when I’m free. I make sure that the dog or dogs are fed and taken care of course. I follow the owner's details and rules. I am very patient and outgoing and also a very active person.

Jennifer is the best sitter you can have. This was our first time using her while out of town. My dog requires meds and has severe anxiety and he was so calm and comfortable with her. She kept us updated daily with videos and pics which made us more relaxed. The puppers unexpectedly needed some stitches a few days before our trip and required some extra care and Jennifer was absolutely great about it and did all the extra needed things. We had pre visits due to his anxiety and she came to these and walked him. She walked him 2 times a day while we were gone and he loved it. My neighbors raved how great Jennifer is. I am afraid she will be booked the next time I need her because she is highly sought out. Not only did she take great care of my puppers she washed her bedding and remade the bed. She swept the floors and took out the trash. I really cannot say enough good things about her. We are so greatful we were able to find her.

I'm a Certified Vet Technician with credentials from UTA and references from two great Veterinarians in the Metroplex. I absolutely adore animals I have tendencies of rescuing strays and finding homes for them. We always welcome wagging tails and small or big paws into our home. I have experience in caring for geriatric dogs, injured or sick dogs. With anything from administering medications to bandaging and plenty of love to give. Although my main source of income is Real Estate my passion has always been in animals. I understand the frustration with boarding and leaving a pet at home. I would love to help and care for your fur babies while you are away. I’ll arrange my schedule to the appointments and clients that book me. I’m available for early morning walks to late evening drop ins, I work in Rover into my schedule. Let me know what your pet requires and I’m very flexible and understanding to help in any way. FAQs for House Sitting - Willow Park

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in Willow Park on Rover is $61.05 per night (as of September 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of September 2026, there are 1,661 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Willow Park. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Willow Park walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Willow Park maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Willow Park choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Willow Park. On Rover:

  • 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
