About: Hello! My name is Malia Bryant. I’m a second‑year law student looking for a summer side hustle that lets me spend more time with animals. I’ve been passionate about animals of all kinds and sizes for as long as I can remember, and I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’ve had my own dog for seven years and walk him every day, rain or shine. Caring for him as an adopted dog with both behavioral and health concerns has given me extensive experience with anxious, reactive, or special‑needs pets and the extra patience they sometimes require. I’m reliable, detail‑oriented, and used to balancing a demanding law school schedule with daily pet care, so you can trust that your pet’s routine will be followed closely. Whether you need regular walks, drop‑in visits, or overnight care, I’m excited to meet your animal(s) and treat them like my own. If you have any questions, special instructions, or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m happy to accommodate your pet’s specific needs. I am on summer break from law school, so I have plenty of time and a flexible schedule for walks, drop‑in visits, and pet sitting. I focus on safety, routine, and clear communication in both my home and my client’s home. I follow each pet’s feeding, walk, and play schedule, stick to owner instructions (including meds and leash rules), and keep the space clean and secure while sending regular updates.

About: Hi, I’m Megan! I’ve cared for animals my entire life, volunteered at shelters, and worked as a kennel tech and vet assistant. I’m currently studying to become a vet and have plenty of free time as I’m off for the summer before I start vet school. I’m passionate about animals and offer reliable, loving care, whether it’s walking, administering medication, or just giving your pet attention. Your pet will be in great hands! I just graduated with my Bachelors and have been accepted into veterinary school to be apart of the class of 2030! Right now I’m trying to save up money before moving in August. In your home I stick to your pet’s routine feeding, walks, and playtime, all while keeping everything tidy and sending updates to keep you in the loop.

Jaime was very understanding when he was at my house to walk my Dozer for the 1st time... seeing how I had a emergency come up and I completely forgot that he was coming to my house. I wasn't there.. but I let him in. He still just let my dozer out to potty even tho my dog was so scared and was running from him. My fault completely.. but Jaime still handled things professionally . I really appreciate you !

About: I've been taking care of animals in some capacity my entire life. I'm going to study zoology to continue this pattern, as I want to work with animals in a more professional setting and learn more about them. Animals genuinely are my purpose in life, meaning you can trust me to be caring and loving with your pets. My only true commitment is classes I'm taking at a community college. I only am taking a couple classes a semester though, meaning I have a lot of free time. I do also volunteer at an animal shelter, but I am able to choose my schedule for that, meaning it shouldn't be an issue. I love taking photos of pets and will make sure to send them to you, so you can see they're doing well. I love to play with dogs, or cuddle if they're comfortable with me. If your dog knows any tricks, I'm happy to take them through what they know to help keep their mind engaged and calm them down.

About: Hi I’m Ashley! I’m am the proud mom of two Boston Terriers Ruby & Ruger. I have grown up always having a dog in my life and know how much love and joy they can bring to their owners. It takes a lot of trust to leave your loved ones in someone else’s care so I take pride in making sure your pet is taken care of! I have been pet sitting since I was 16 and love getting to take care of new dogs and new breeds. Your pets welfare and happiness is my top priority. It’s important to me to make sure they get a good amount of exercise each day so that they are happy. I can help with crate training also. I am available Monday-Thursday for drop ins and doggy day care. I work full time during the week so I am only available on the weekends to pet sit or do drop ins, but would love to help you with your pups. Your pets safety is important to me. Dawn is the best! My two beagles love her! They are two rescues and usually very suspicious of people but Dawn, with her kindness, loving, attentive ways was able to connect with them immediately. She is reliable, trustworthy and goes above and beyond to provide excellent care to my girls. Dawn looks after my babies frequently and treats them like they're her own. I wouldn't trust anyone else to do it!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
