About: I am a school-based speech therapist by trade looking for summer and after-school opportunities caring for animals. I grew up with animals (cats, dogs, rabbits), and as an adult I have owned both a cat and a dog. I am comfortable working with special needs pets and administering meds if needed. I believe pets need stimulation and exercise to stay happy and healthy, and I am happy to help out where I can because I know how busy life can be! My availability over the summer is relatively open. I am available M-F early mornings (between 7:30 and 8:00 for drop ins) and anytime 2pm and later for both drop ins and walks. I have open availability on the weekends. I am hoping to provide mostly dog walking opportunities and pet care at the owner’s home. I will treat each of your animals as I would my own! I am a fast learner and will follow all rules and routines you have set in place for your pet.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid, and now I have my own 2 adopted mutts (and my 2 fur nephews). I grew up on a farm, so I’m pretty confident with animals, but if you have any concerns or special needs I’m happy to discuss or schedule a meet and greet! I work full time remotely, but have primary duties in the afternoon and evenings, so I’m almost always free for a midday stroll or potty break! At our house there are 4 dogs and lots of kids running in and out, but if your pup is okay with that there’s a huge back yard with a tether, or a neighborhood with sidewalks for walks if that’s more their speed. At your house, I follow your rules! I love to know your dogs favorite spots and which houses are “behind enemy lines.” I’m 6’4 and my hound is quite the rhinoceros, so I can walk the best of them!

About: Growing up, my family always had a dog in our house ever since our first furry member - a sweet German Shepherd/Lab mix named Maggie - who we often referred to as Nanna from the dog in Disney’s Peter Pan. She was the most gentle, patient, and loving dog who just loved being apart of the family, especially with us kids. She often would go into each of us children’s rooms during the night to check on us before going back to my parent’s room to sleep. After her heartbreaking passing from cancer, we would later get Bruce - a Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix - whose energy and character fit very well into our family. Bruce was a mama’s boy who loved to chew and hide his toy bones and followed my mom around like a shadow until his passing in the summer of 2024. While my earliest dog owning experience comes from the two dogs of my childhood, my own personal experience of owning, raising, training, and personally caring for a dog that relied on me to ensure all their needs are met, didn’t come until February of 2022 when my now fiancé and I would drive out to Amish country to get our Sidney boy - a border collie/blue heeler mix - when he was just 9-weeks old. Anyone who has ever owned either of these breeds knows that they are not only highly intelligent, but also very energetic and incredibly active. They are also velcro dogs, so once they choose their person, they will stick to them like glue. At that time, I was in the process of looking for a new job and staying home, so that person my dog stuck too was me. Since I was able to stay home with him for a majority of his early puppy phase, I was able to prioritize and focus on not just his house training, but his basic training such as sitting, not chewing on anything that wasn’t one of his toys, not begging for food, or to drop whatever is on his mouth with the word “drop”. The teething phase was like owning on baby piranha, but giving him a frozen washcloth and lots of chew toys seemed to do the trick. I made sure to leash-train him for walks as soon as he had all of his shots, since knowing how to walk on a leash is not something that comes naturally to dogs. While pulling is still one of my dogs habits, we’ve learned that it mostly comes from excitement and becomes less persistent after a few minutes into a walk. For reference, my dog is around 50 pounds and has that cattle dog strength, so when he locks-in and sees another dog, I’m pretty good at holding my own and redirecting. So whether your dog is a gentle giant, an energetic fur ball, or an overly excited working dog, you won’t find many jobs that are too big or small for me! I currently work from home Mondays and Wednesdays, unless I am taking time off or on vacation. If you ever need me to stop by and check on your dog at any time during those days would not be an issue. On the days I go into work, I can check on your dog to let out and feed before I go into the office (anytime before 9) and after I get off (anytime after 6). If you were a senior that needs to walk their dog, but have mobility issues, please feel free to reach out to me and we can discuss which days would work best for me to come and walk your dog. However, for dog walking services, I will not walk dogs if the temperature is over 80°F. This means that some weeks it would have to be early morning or later at night, especially during the summer time, unless your dog has shoes for the pavement. If your dog has shoes for walking in warmer weather, this can be an exemption, however, the temperature at the time of the walk may alter the duration of how long we walk in order to ensure the health and safety of your pet. Well, I am not currently offering services to watch dogs in my own home, I am available when needed to care for your animals in the comfort of your own home. Not only do I have my own cat and dog whose safety and comfort I must consider, I have found that most animals feel a lot more comfortable staying in an environment they are already used to, since not a lot of animals like change. On the days that I work from home (Mondays and Wednesdays) I can: - Stop by whenever during the day to let your dogs out. - Top off water your pet’s water, administer medication (if the medication is oral). - Walk your dog (depending on the weather and temperature). - And any other care, your pet may require. On the days that I have to go into the office, I can provide the following care: - Let your dog out before and after work. - Feed your dog after letting them out. - Feed/Check-in on your cat and make sure that have everything they need. - Walk your dog (Depending on the weather and temperature). - Give your pets some company by either playing, betting, or just sitting with them for a bit during check-ins. Whatever they are comfortable with.

About: I've walked dogs, dogs sat for several weeks, owned a dog and a cat for most of my life, and have a general love for all animals of any kind. I'd love to take care of your family members! I'm a current student at Cleveland State University, so on my commute in the mornings and in the afternoons as well as weekends, I'm available to check in on your pets. Our cat is relatively low maintenance so our routine cat-care is easy. But, I've watched dogs that had intense routines and need for interactive time via games, walks, playtime, etc, so I have experience in all types of animals and the care that they require.

This is a testimonial for my son Jacob T. I believe he would provide a safe environment and responsible care for all dogs. He’s had experience of growing up with various dogs, as well as two of his own as an adult. He is conscientious of their needs for food, water, training, exercise, play, and loving care. He has always taken care of the family standard poodles, doing an awesome job of keeping them safe and happy.

Leah is a wonderful animal lover and enjoys been around all kinds of animals. I noticed this started early when she would go read to dogs and how the animals would just look at her it a very calm way. Growing up she took care of many animals from dogs to cats and hamsters. This true love of animals flowed over into helping and a veterinary and then working at a very large boarding club for dogs where she really enjoys spending time with them. She would always come home with great stories about how the dogs were always happy to see her. Caring for animals is in her heart and always will be. She is very qualified to take care of anyones pet and I know the animals would love seeing her.

Michelle is a dedicated animal lover. She has extensive experience with in-home dog sitting. This experience involves many walks, both around the neighborhood and in nearby metroparks. She is comfortable and up to the challenge with high energy dog personalities. She has endless patience with not so motivated canines. She is affectionate and loving. She also has experience with other animals. I trust my beloved other species family members with Michelle

Kelly has provided care for our dog, Kensie, for the past 3 years through overnight stays and day-time walks. Kensie is a high-energy breed (Siberian Husky) that requires more attention and physical activity than most dogs. We are always comforted that Kensie is getting the care and attention she needs from Kelly while we are away. Kelly is professional, she takes daily photos of Kensie and sends us notes about their day. She also keeps us informed of anything happening in the house or neighborhood while we are away. I highly recommend Kelly, especially for anyone with a “Velcro dog” like us that is used to a lot of human interaction. Kelly is a trustworthy, competent, and kind individual and she is a great choice for your next dog sitter!

Christy is really good with myanxious pit bull mix who can be dog reactive. She is responsible, dependable, and communicates effectively. It is so reassuring to know Jameson is cared for so well while I’m at work.

Maddie is absolutely fantastic! My little guy can be a handful via walks, and Maddie is a pro! He actually responded with her a bit better than me. She is also a true professional, as she understood my schedule, and was very clear on her availability so we can plan accordingly. If you get Maddie to watch your dog, you will not be disappointed! She is a 💯 dog lover, and goes above and beyond!
