I work from home, so i will be around throughout the day and I have the ability to be very attentive and easily provide potty breaks when needed, so my routine does not have to change much to fit your families needs! If I am boarding / house sitting I need to be set up by 8AM and my work day is done by 5pm. Each pet is different and will have different needs. I do my best to adhere to those needs. inside the home pets are free to roam around designated areas, which are kept clean and pet friendly. I never take pets outdoors without their leash as anything could happen, we also have other pets in the area so to avoid any issues i always keep those in my care close by!

About: Hello! My name is Maria and I am very excited to meet your furry friend! I’ve raised 2 large dogs and 2 small dogs so I am comfortable with any size pet. I also worked at a doggie day care center for a year and a half where I worked with all size dogs for 8 plus hours at a time and facilitated friendly play so I am able to handle multiple dogs or cats at a time! am available for dog walking or a stop in visits. I live in the mentor area but am willing to travel as well. Please let me know if this is the type of sitter you are looking for! I work as a nurse so my schedule is pretty flexible. I care for my own pets with walks, park visits, and agility. I also enjoy caring for other dogs with walks or acting as a dog sitter. I am always cautious when taking care of pets in my home or another persons home. I understand that allowing someone into your home can be nerve racking so I am always sure to communicate as much as I can with home owners and follow their specific instructions to ensure the visit goes as smooth as possible.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since i had my first dog in the first grade. A white Samoyed. When she was 3 she has 7 puppies! I was obsessed with them. We sold 6 and kept one. So we had 2 big white Samoyed’s that I had the responsibility of raising and attending to. They were my whole world. I’m always the first to be asked to watch someone’s dog because if there’s one thing I’m passionate about, it’s loving on dogs. I now have a mini dachshund who i love so much. I have experience with puppies, big dogs, little dogs, and senior dogs. I’m able to train puppies and care for senior dogs who would need more help in their day to day activities such as meds, frequent potty breaks, and patience. I also had an internship with the lake humane society in high school and have a special place in my heart for rescue dogs/cats who could use some extra love. I am currently a stay at home mom with my 8 year old who is in school and 1 year old who both love dogs I figured i could help out some dog momma or daddies who aren’t able to be home with them all day. I am able to let your dog out every couple hours. And even take them for brief walks. We have plenty of dog toys to share, bully sticks (while supervised), treats, and extra dog bowls if needed. My husband is a realtor so is home most of the time if i am not. I crate our dog at home when we leave. I also have a camera just in case to make sure she’s okay while we’re gone. We moved so we don’t have a fenced in yard anymore. But had leads if they want to stay outside for a longer period of time. I also live next to my parents who have a fenced in yard where i could take them if you feel more comfortable with that.

I helped train/walk my neighbors therapy dog while I was in high school and I was Involved in a club at The Ohio State University called Guiding Eyes for the Blind. I trained, walked and sat dogs of ages 2 months and up that then get assigned to someone in need of help. I have also worked at a vet hospital assisting/watching the doctor during procedures, check-ups and client visits. I love working with dogs/cats and always learning new training techniques. I am enrolled full time in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at John Carroll University. I have classes 3x a week for 2.5-3 hours. This would be the only time I would need to leave your pet(s) alone. I live in a 2 story home within walking distance of a park suitable for dogs. I do not have any personal pets in my home. If you are looking for me to host, I live alone so it would just be your pet(s) and me. I will be respectful of not having guests over when I am caring for your pet(s) to ensure they’re given proper attention and feel comfortable in their environment. I have a partially fenced back yard and my front yard is not fenced.
