Kyle was amazing with our 10 month old Bernese! He is extremely patient and understanding, especially when it comes to a high energy puppy! He sends multiple updates throughout the day to make sure you know your pup is being well taken care of :) We will definitely continue to use Kyle for daycare and other puppy needs, he treats Bogey so well and is very in tune with what he may need throughout the day ◡̈

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since i had my first dog in the first grade. A white Samoyed. When she was 3 she has 7 puppies! I was obsessed with them. We sold 6 and kept one. So we had 2 big white Samoyed’s that I had the responsibility of raising and attending to. They were my whole world. I’m always the first to be asked to watch someone’s dog because if there’s one thing I’m passionate about, it’s loving on dogs. I now have a mini dachshund who i love so much. I have experience with puppies, big dogs, little dogs, and senior dogs. I’m able to train puppies and care for senior dogs who would need more help in their day to day activities such as meds, frequent potty breaks, and patience. I also had an internship with the lake humane society in high school and have a special place in my heart for rescue dogs/cats who could use some extra love. I am currently a stay at home mom with my 8 year old who is in school and 1 year old who both love dogs I figured i could help out some dog momma or daddies who aren’t able to be home with them all day. I am able to let your dog out every couple hours. And even take them for brief walks. We have plenty of dog toys to share, bully sticks (while supervised), treats, and extra dog bowls if needed. My husband is a realtor so is home most of the time if i am not. I crate our dog at home when we leave. I also have a camera just in case to make sure she’s okay while we’re gone. We moved so we don’t have a fenced in yard anymore. But had leads if they want to stay outside for a longer period of time. I also live next to my parents who have a fenced in yard where i could take them if you feel more comfortable with that.

Austin was flexible with drop-off and pick up times, and sent us updates throughout the day. We appreciate that because Rory can be shy with other dogs at first, so it was nice to have the confirmation that she was settling in and having a good time. Will be using Austin again!

About: Animal enthusiast on a mission to provide purr-fect care for your fur babies 🐾🐶✨✨ Passionate about pet sitting with a long history of creating a safe space for all. I've taken care of of fur friends for as long as I can remember and continue to do so through Breezy Pooch Care! I work from home, so i will be around throughout the day and I have the ability to be very attentive and easily provide potty breaks when needed, so my routine does not have to change much to fit your families needs! If I am boarding / house sitting I need to be set up by 8AM and my work day is done by 5pm. Each pet is different and will have different needs. I do my best to adhere to those needs. inside the home pets are free to roam around designated areas, which are kept clean and pet friendly. I never take pets outdoors without their leash as anything could happen, we also have other pets in the area so to avoid any issues i always keep those in my care close by!

About: I have found a love of dog care and enrichment while training my Cockalier pup in scent work, dock diving, and tricks! My dog and I love going on daily walks and playing frisbee in the yard, and it would be my pleasure to host your pup! Currently WFH with flexible morning, lunchtime, and evening schedule, so I have plenty of time to play with your pup and get them the exercise and enrichment they need! I have a pet-friendly home and a large yard (although it is not fenced) in a safe neighborhood. I am close to many metroparks and walking trails for daily walks.

I know my fur baby is safe, loved, and cared for with Cheryl. She is very thoughtful and sends beautiful pictures and updates of my baby Owen. She’s detailed orientated and safety is priority for her. I love that I can go to work with a peace of mind knowing he’s having so much fun! He was so excited to be dropped off today. I’m so grateful I found her.

About: Hi, I'm Daniel! I'm excited to care for your dog. I offer boarding, and house sitting, and I tailor every stay to your pet's normal routine. That means feeding on their schedule, daily walks (the longer the better!), plenty of playtime and cuddles, potty breaks as needed, and photo updates so you always know how they're doing. I've cared for dogs my whole life, from raising my childhood dogs as puppies through their senior years to most recently caring for my shelter boy for eight years until I said goodbye to him. In his later years he had heart issues, so I have hands-on experience giving both oral medication and topical treatments, and I'm comfortable watching over senior dogs who need extra attention. Nothing brought me more joy than the time I spent with him, and I'll treat your dog with that same love and care. I work from home with a flexible schedule, so your dog is never alone for long stretches. I have a large private yard for play and a walkable neighborhood with sidewalks for daily strolls. I'll stick to their routine so they feel secure the whole time. Because I work from home and make my own schedule, pet care fits naturally into my whole day rather than being squeezed around it. I take regular breaks for walks, playtime, and potty trips, and there’s almost always someone around to offer attention and companionship. My flexible schedule means we can stick to your dog’s normal routine for feeding, walks, and rest, and give extra care when a pet needs it. I follow your dog’s normal routine for feeding, walks, and rest so they feel secure. In our home they’ll enjoy a private yard, a walkable neighborhood, and constant company. I never take dogs out without a leash and collar, and unless otherwise told, I'll make sure to keep your dog away from others.

Albert ans Stacy's doggy Day Care was fantastic. like a lot of doggy moms I was nervous about leaving my puppy at daycare, but that was all washed away when I first dropped him off and he was so happy to see Albert then all of his pictures showed him having so much fun and making his way in the pack. I definitely will be taking him back because of the great care he received!

About: I have watched my cousin's shi tzu many times for extended periods of time. It has went well every time. Also I have over 15 years of having a pet in my home. Walking dogs and taking care of them is something that I have a lot of experience in. I have a very flexible schedule as an independent contractor so i can be available at any time. Whenever I watch my cousin's dog, it becomes a full time endeavor. I take pride in taking care of the things in my environment whether it is lawn care, businesses, car, or my hobbies. I walk them regularly. I make sure the pets are fed on schedule. I pay attention to the pet's communication signals, and I am a caring person towards them.

Aaziya was warm and friendly and easy to work with. She introduced Molly one by one to her other dogs and then took her for a walk. When Molly seemed bothered by the crowd, she let her stay in a quieter spot with "dog music." This was a short stay, about 6 hours, while I visited Cleveland Clinic. I would leave Molly with Aaziya again.

About: As a lifelong animal lover I have cared for dogs, cats and even rodents! For the past decade plus I had the honor and privilege to have cared for 2 dogs who lived fun and fulfilling lives to senior age. I am experienced with dogs who deal with reactivity, chronic illnesses, and mobility issues. I have acquired some basic training skills over the years including e-collar training. Please do not hesitate to send a message with details about your dog's specific needs. Together we can create the best care plan possible for your fluffy family members! I work remotely full time from home with a flexible schedule. Throughout my work day I diligently walk, water, feed, and play with any animals under my care. Pet needs can sometimes be unpredictable. My services can be made available to those in need of short-notice pet care. For those in need of pet boarding and short-term pet sitting I have a large fenced yard with plenty of toys, access to potty areas, and open access into my home. There is plenty of space for your dog to be comfortable and receive appropriate mental stimulation. Crate trained dogs are welcome though the majority of my experience is with non-crate trained dogs. I make a point to walk and play with your dog as much as necessary!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of August 2026, there are 456 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Waite Hill. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Waite Hill commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 456 sitters in Waite Hill, 89% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
