“I have a skittish Sheltie who does not warm up to people easily. Zach shows great experience working with dogs and has gotten our dog to interact with him where others have not. I appreciate his dedication to taking care of animals and it was evidenced by the relevant questions he asked in our initial interview. So happy to have someone who I can trust my dogs with!”

About: There's nothing better than meeting a cat or dog for the first time as a stranger and getting to become their buddy. I have no problem taking things slow with cats and dogs who are slow to trust and reading their body language to see if they want pets or they want to be left alone. In the past few years I have taken care of several of my friends' pets when they go out of town. I took care of my friend's six cats at his house over a weekend which included a lot of litter scooping. I cared for my friend's senior chiweenie at my home for a weekend which included taking many potty breaks. I cared for a friend's energetic puppy and young cat for about a week in their home and gave the puppy a lot of daily exercise by playing fetch in a nearby park. I'm available to pet sit and house sit on weekdays and weekends. I can stay overnight to care for your cats, dogs, and house as needed. I can go on walks with your dog for exercise or for frequent bathroom breaks. I can feed your pets at regular meal times and play with them.
“I highly reccomend Brett! I got very sick and was in a pretty desperate situation with my newly rescued, very large pitt mix. I contacted Brett and he got in touch with me right away. He came at the drop of a hat a few days when Ash really need a walk. He even came from farther than he routinely helps people. Very reliable, punctual and kind. Was easily able to handle my 85 lb pitt mix. (With bad manners...lol) I'm very grateful for the help he gave me. Give him a call!”

“Amazing! Very flexible and patient. She is willing to work with your schedule. She is knowledgeable. She knows what she is doing especially with dogs that are wary of strangers. Also, she responds quickly and provided updates which put me at ease.”

“Summer was friendly & took to Kona right away. She provides great detailed reports of their walks & of course I love the photos. Would definitely recommend Summer to walk your dog.”

“Helena has been our steadfast furry friend walker for years and she has been fabulous! Communicative, flexible, kind and more. Helena comes highly recommended by my family!”
“Madisyn has been taking care of our dog Leo for several months. As witnessed from the photos she sends, he LOVES her! I come home to a contented and happy pet! Madisyn is also very respectful of our house and leaves it as she found it. We will continue entrusting Leo's care with her for months to come!”

About: I have extensive experience in pet care, including puppy training, senior pet care, administering medications, and providing personalized attention to ensure your pets feel safe and loved. Pet care fits into my daily routine quite easily. My class schedule from 1-3 PM gives me flexibility in the mornings and evenings to care for pets. I typically have the morning free to take dogs for walks, feed pets, and give them some playtime or attention. After class, I can offer pet sitting or check-ins in the late afternoon and evening, and I’m available for overnight stays too if needed. Since I live in Elma, I’m located close enough to Olympia to commute for pet care gigs there as well. Monday to Friday: • Morning: Flexible pet care (feeding, walks, etc.) before class, 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM • Class: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM (Elma) • After Class: Pet care (checking in on pets, feeding, or cleaning) from 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM • Evening: 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM (Additional pet care or evening checks, if needed) Saturday & Sunday: • Flexible availability for pet care throughout the day depending on how much time is needed for pets (morning check-ins, afternoon care, and evening care). For pets in my own home, I ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment with plenty of space for pets to roam and relax. I provide regular feeding, walks, and playtime, and I’m also attentive to their needs, whether that means extra cuddles or quiet time. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their specific instructions to maintain consistency in the pet’s routine. I make sure their space is secure, clean, and safe. I offer walks, play sessions, and feedings, and if the pet requires any medication or special care, I handle that as well. I strive to keep their home as clean as I found it, including changing litter boxes, cleaning up after walks, and ensuring the pet is comfortable while their owner is away. Communication with the owner is key, so I provide updates and pictures to keep them informed.
“Nicholas has done a fabulous job of walking Lana! Hes easy to meet and communicate with. He was immediately loved by my dog and did a great job working with her while I'm out at work. After a couple days working with him I decided he would be a great fit to walk her daily while I'm at work. I would recommend Nicholas to anyone looking for pet care while away as he has the pets best interest in mind.”

“We love working with Maggie! She has been so good with our very large puppy and so communicative with us. We really appreciate her notes, questions, and observations of our puppy after walks. Highly recommend!”

About: Im Ana, lover of all pets, young and old, big and small. We can do walks, hikes, swimming, even to a play day at the park. I’m able to give your dog/cat all the attention needed, and they would never be unattended. I can take dogs to dog park or the nearest park to make sure they get the most of the visit. As a stay-at-home mom (SAHM) with a flexible schedule, Pet care fits into my daily routine with feeding, walks, playtime, and ensuring their overall well-being. Be sure that if you decide on me I will go above and beyond as that is my style in life and with animals and people.
About: I have been around dogs my whole life! Our family has had beagles ever since I was born and I always got along with all my friend's dogs. Growing up this way taught me a lot and fostered my love for our little buddies. Although I am new to Rover, I am not new to caring for pets! I have taken care of many neighbor's pets over the years. It is always fun to make a new friend for a bit. I know leaving your pet with someone else can be a bit uncomfortable, so I am happy to meet with you and your pet first before you decide! Your comfort is just as important as your pets, I will definitely stay in contact with you while you are away. I have a pretty open schedule right now, even open for holidays! My schedule is currently wide open. I can do weekends and later in the day, as well as major holidays! Just let me know, I look forward to talking with you! Their comfortability is my priority. I can be as patient or playful as your pet is comfortable with. I do my best to watch their body language when I'm with animals!
About: My dog care experience spans all ages and breeds. I know puppies are more work, but I enjoy working with them on leash and obedience training to maintain good habits while their people are away. I have experience with giving daily medications and have cared for senior dogs, one who needed daily blood sugar testing and insulin shots. I started pet sitting for clients when I was house cleaning during the time I was in grad school. Because I was already working in their homes and had biweekly interactions with their pets, it was an easy transition to pet care. It was also during this time that a couple of professors inquired about pet sitting. I was a backup for one of thier regular sitters and the other, I'm still their regular sitter 7+ years later. I care for your pets the same way you would. They like to sleep in the bed with me? Cool. They need extra outside play time or walks to keep their anxiety low because you're gone? Done. I am very intuitive to reading their energy and do everything I can to meet their needs. Do you have some anxiety about being away and want pictures daily? Got it covered. My experience with house cleaning also menas I take care of the spaces I am staying so I am happy to water house plants and take care of gardens if needed.

Sophie is such a natural --at caring for dogs as well as people. When I had a sudden death in my family, she stepped up to cover every day I needed, with kind words, extra help and collaboration when we required it. She is now close friends with my poodle, and a warm, reliable friend to me. My dog learns everyday from Sophia!

Lauren was wonderful with our dog Millie. We had her come a couple times a week prior to our trip to get to know Millie and it worked out great. Lauren communicated very well. She was on time for every walk and followed instructions as there were a couple changes along the way. Gave daily reports and pics which helped. Thank you Lauren for being so great with our fur baby
