I have been a member of the veterinary field for the past 15 years. I have worked in several clinic settings and have years of hands on experience. I am a certified veterinary assistant but worked most years when you didn’t need a technician license so my skill set is more geared towards that experience level, which is more advanced. I have had many animals over the years and cared for a variety of my own pets as well as other peoples pets, ranging from dogs and cats to pocket pets, avians and even some exotics and some farm animals. I have experience feeding, walking, medicating, bathing and overall general care of animals of multiple variety. I have a college background in animal science, as well as taking fear free training courses in addition to stress/behavior sensitivity training sessions with behaviorists I have met over the years. I feel pets bring so much joy and love to enrich our lives that we should try to strive to give them the same high quality love and care in return. I hold myself to a high standard of care and I aim to provide the highest quality care for any animal I meet or attend to.
