I have been a member of the veterinary field for the past 15 years. I have worked in several clinic settings and have years of hands on experience. I am a certified veterinary assistant but worked most years when you didn’t need a technician license so my skill set is more geared towards that experience level, which is more advanced. I have had many animals over the years and cared for a variety of my own pets as well as other peoples pets, ranging from dogs and cats to pocket pets, avians and even some exotics and some farm animals. I have experience feeding, walking, medicating, bathing and overall general care of animals of multiple variety. I have a college background in animal science, as well as taking fear free training courses in addition to stress/behavior sensitivity training sessions with behaviorists I have met over the years. I feel pets bring so much joy and love to enrich our lives that we should try to strive to give them the same high quality love and care in return. I hold myself to a high standard of care and I aim to provide the highest quality care for any animal I meet or attend to.

This was first time using Rover. Helena was wonderful! She took the time with my very timid cats. Went above and beyond what i had asked of her. Anything that seemed off or not quite right with pets or surroundings while I was gone she let me know which I greatly appreciated. Helena will definitely be my go to sitter!
Helena is always reliable and it's peace of mind knowing my two are looked after when I'm away. And they really like her, even my shy one!
Helena took great care of my 2 cats while I was out of country. Even got the shy one to come out for belly rubs!

Schedule
Walking dogs and caring for pets with home visits is currently all I do for employment so I have open availability during my days and evenings.

- Please let me know if your dog has any specific disabilities, exercise limitations or specific play time activities they enjoy. I like to know specific commands, signals you use with your pet as to keep consistency for their routine. Please let me know if your pet has any sensitivities or food/environmental allergies. As well as any additional information you feel I need to know such as certain breeds, size or gender of dog your pet doesn’t get along with.
