“Ari has been walking our dog on a weekly basis for the past six months. He is very dependable, professional, and trustworthy. We highly recommend him. You AND your dog will be more than happy with the service.”

“I LOVE Helena! I'm new to the area and needed a last minute dog walker. She did a quick meet and greet that day and then was available for the next day. I got tons of pictures and updates and knew my pups were in great hands! Will definitely use her again!”

“Thank you for being so great with Jet!! We really appreciate you. Johanna is an amazing listener and asks great questions to really understand your dog and provide the best care possible. Really love the attention to detail. Thank you, Johanna!!”

“Mariela is wonderful! She clearly cares about our dog, made sure to note commands we are using, and checked in with us, providing thorough, and at times hilarious, updates about our pup! My dog was really relaxed when I got home, and I could tell he had great walks all week. I would recommend Mariela to anyone in need of care for their dog friends!”
“I highly reccomend Brett! I got very sick and was in a pretty desperate situation with my newly rescued, very large pitt mix. I contacted Brett and he got in touch with me right away. He came at the drop of a hat a few days when Ash really need a walk. He even came from farther than he routinely helps people. Very reliable, punctual and kind. Was easily able to handle my 85 lb pitt mix. (With bad manners...lol) I'm very grateful for the help he gave me. Give him a call!”

About: There's nothing better than meeting a cat or dog for the first time as a stranger and getting to become their buddy. I have no problem taking things slow with cats and dogs who are slow to trust and reading their body language to see if they want pets or they want to be left alone. In the past few years I have taken care of several of my friends' pets when they go out of town. I took care of my friend's six cats at his house over a weekend which included a lot of litter scooping. I cared for my friend's senior chiweenie at my home for a weekend which included taking many potty breaks. I cared for a friend's energetic puppy and young cat for about a week in their home and gave the puppy a lot of daily exercise by playing fetch in a nearby park. I'm available to pet sit and house sit on weekdays and weekends. I can stay overnight to care for your cats, dogs, and house as needed. I can go on walks with your dog for exercise or for frequent bathroom breaks. I can feed your pets at regular meal times and play with them.
About: I have years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats, starting from a young age. I volunteer at an animal shelter and regularly work with animals of all sizes and temperaments, including shy, energetic, and senior pets. I’m reliable, calm, and focused on providing safe, attentive care tailored to each pet’s needs. I have a completely open schedule. I can provide care for as long as needed and am open to longer stays, as well as short drop-ins. I take pride in learning each pets wants and needs. My shelter experience has taught me how to calmly handle any situation thrown my way. I treat every pet with patience and kindness, while still maintaining safety and security for the pet.
“Kacie was a true treasure, she was always been on time, totally reliable. Being a medical traveler with random shifts it isn’t easy to find someone that is willing to do different hours and days. The dogs love her and I will continue using her services as long as I am in this area.”

About: My dog care experience spans all ages and breeds. I know puppies are more work, but I enjoy working with them on leash and obedience training to maintain good habits while their people are away. I have experience with giving daily medications and have cared for senior dogs, one who needed daily blood sugar testing and insulin shots. I started pet sitting for clients when I was house cleaning during the time I was in grad school. Because I was already working in their homes and had biweekly interactions with their pets, it was an easy transition to pet care. It was also during this time that a couple of professors inquired about pet sitting. I was a backup for one of thier regular sitters and the other, I'm still their regular sitter 7+ years later. I care for your pets the same way you would. They like to sleep in the bed with me? Cool. They need extra outside play time or walks to keep their anxiety low because you're gone? Done. I am very intuitive to reading their energy and do everything I can to meet their needs. Do you have some anxiety about being away and want pictures daily? Got it covered. My experience with house cleaning also menas I take care of the spaces I am staying so I am happy to water house plants and take care of gardens if needed.
“Maria is especially good at coaxing our dog out on walks when the pup doesn't want to go. We also appreciate that she submits Rover cards for each visit and leaves the house exactly as she found it. We feel so much better about being at work all day knowing Maria is spending time with our dog.”

About: I have trained my own heeler puppy since she was 10 weeks old. As well as helped raise another cattle dog until he was 8yo and have cared for and loved many different animals over the years I'm working part time and make up my own schedule. So I will usually have plenty of time for giving animals lots of attention and love. I have my own very sweet 2yo heeler that has been friendly with all dogs. And a sizeable backyard for supervised playtime. I value patience and calmness making the most out of positive reinforcement to promote good behavior.
About: Im Ana, lover of all pets, young and old, big and small. We can do walks, hikes, swimming, even to a play day at the park. I’m able to give your dog/cat all the attention needed, and they would never be unattended. I can take dogs to dog park or the nearest park to make sure they get the most of the visit. As a stay-at-home mom (SAHM) with a flexible schedule, Pet care fits into my daily routine with feeding, walks, playtime, and ensuring their overall well-being. Be sure that if you decide on me I will go above and beyond as that is my style in life and with animals and people.
“Aaliyah is the most responsible and kindest person. I feel so fortunate to have her caring for my Bella. She has excellent judgment and listens to the details of all instructions provided. She has great follow-through. I am so happy to have her caring for Bella.”

About: I have always lived with and cared for cats and dogs my whole life, but I have also have several positions over the past 15 years caring for various other animals. My first professional animal caregiving experience was at Pioneer Park Nature Center in Lincoln, NE. There, I provided enrichment and care to a wild variety of animals, including owls, hawks, vultures, snakes, turtles, and salamanders. I have also lived on farms where I cared for dogs, rabbits, goats, sheep, ducks, and chickens. In California, I volunteered for 2 years at a wildlife hospital where I cared mainly for songbirds. There, I learned how to administer medication and provide foster care for baby squirrels and raccoons. The care of animals has always been central to my personal, professional, and even my academic life. I love all animals, but I am by far a cat person. I grew up with five cats and two dogs. Currently, I have a sweet old man cat named Little One. I have a lot of availability because I work seasonal, conducting bird surveys for a non-profit in Idaho in the spring and summer. I am happy to do evening walks, overnights, holidays, and weekends. I am a responsible, respectful adult who is happy to care for your pet at your home, as my living situation is not conducive to boarding animals.
“Katherine is wonderful. She learned our regular walking and training routine and followed through. She was able to introduce Mya successfully to the dog park. Katherine was consistent and on time per our arrangements. Highly recommended.”

Eastside dog parents share their Rover experiences
Sophie is such a natural --at caring for dogs as well as people. When I had a sudden death in my family, she stepped up to cover every day I needed, with kind words, extra help and collaboration when we required it. She is now close friends with my poodle, and a warm, reliable friend to me. My dog learns everyday from Sophia!
