One of our dogs is scared of any dog bigger than her but Mochi gave her space and was gentle during our meet and greet. About: I grew up loving and caring for animals. I had dogs, cats, and even parrots growing up. I am certified in Pet First Aid and CPR and have experience pet sitting for various friends and family. I used to volunteer with the Humane Society where I walked dogs and helped work play groups which helped the dogs gain social skills and helped them to get adopted. I currently volunteer with a statewide animal rescue organization doing technical animal rescues which include rescuing dogs, cats, birds, horses, and, on occasion, certain exotic animals. Our most common rescues include dogs that fall down cliffs and horses that are cast in their stalls and can't get up or are otherwise stuck and require assistance getting back up. I love getting to work with all sorts of animals and have learned a lot from the other volunteers which include EMTs, Firefighters, and Veterinarians. I work remotely from home so my schedule is very flexible and I'll have plenty of time to look after your beloved pets! I can easily stop by and check on them at your home as often as you'd like. I also love being outside so going on multiple walks a day would be a joy for me. I have years of experience with dogs and I also had cats growing up too. I do not currently have any pets living with me so your pet with have my undivided love and attention. I am able to maintain any schedules you keep for your pets such as when to feed them and any medications they might need to take. I'm certified in Pet First Aid/CPR and work with animals regularly due to my work in animal rescue so you can rest assured that your furbabies will be in good hands!

About: I've had two dogs as pets, one for 15 years and another lived until 11. I miss the companionship and would love to walk a few dogs in the neighborhood during work breaks. I work full-time locally and would love to break up my day with check-ins or dog walks. My schedule is flexible, allowing me to plan ahead for check-in, play, or for longer walks (up to an hour and a half). I have lived in Olympia since 2013. I am very comfortable working with dogs and have a soft spot for senior dogs or those with special needs. My last dog had degenerative myelopathy and enjoyed modified walks and exercise until the end. My hope is to have a few dogs during my work week to connect with and take care of, ideally up to two hours between 11-4, M-F.

“Lisa was great! We had a bit of difficulty getting together for a meet and great due to both our schedules but once we got over that she was amazing! Checked in with me daily and sent pictures of our guy! I would highly recommend her and will be using her in the future!”
“Our worried whippets had a wonderful first stay with Margaret! Our girls usually don't eat much/if at all when staying with a dog sitter because they get separation anxiety being away from their family but they ate with Margaret which told me everything. Our girls were happy, safe, and comfortable. Margaret's other dog Mochi was a sweet heart too who was patient with our nervous pups. One of our dogs is scared of any dog bigger than her but Mochi gave her space and was gentle during our meet and greet. The pictures I received showed me how relaxed the pups were, which is exactly what they needed. We have definitely found a go-to dog sitter :).”

“We’ve never boarded our two little dogs before and we were terribly worried about trusting them with someone or that they would be okay. Oh man, we had nothing to worry about. I think they want to go back! Darby made us feel assured with pictures and reports of our babies not missing us one bit. They had an adventure and were more entertained at her place than at home. They lounged on her couch and slept with her (just like at home). They watched chickens and horses (more interesting than our house). I felt 110% assured they were safe and well cared for. It was wonderful to have no worries. Plus…she picked them up and delivered them back to us. Perfect experience. ❤️”
