About: Cats have been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember. I've helped rescue nine cats and raised seven from kittens to adulthood, giving me extensive hands-on experience with feeding, litter box maintenance, socialization, and understanding feline behavior. I also have experience administering various types of medications and am comfortable carefully following treatment instructions to ensure pets receive the care they need. Through years of caring for cats with different personalities, ages, and needs, I've learned how to build trust, provide a calm and safe environment, and adapt my care to each cat individually. I genuinely enjoy spending time with cats and am committed to making them feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for while their owners are away.
“Melanie was very professional and communicative. She did a thorough pre-pet sitting meeting where she clearly demonstrated her understanding of caring for animals. I had to change some timing of my pets care and she was very flexible. My cat needs special medicine that Melanie was able to administer without issue.”

“Jed was absolute wonderful. For our first time using Rover, Jed sure made sure to make a great impression. He went more than above and beyond in taking care of our FOUR cats. Definitely recommend and will book again.”

About: I provide dedicated dog-only daycare with personalized care tailored to each dog’s energy and routine. I specialize in senior dog care — gentle walks, mobility support, medication administration, and low-impact enrichment. Dogs enjoy daily exercise, supervised play, puzzle toys, and cozy home comfort. I send prompt photo updates and detailed notes, and offer flexible scheduling to fit owners’ needs. I offer dog-only daycare for small dogs (under 25 lbs). Available Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, Friday 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, and weekends 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Daily routine includes morning greeting and potty break, a morning walk or play session, mid-day rest with enrichment toys, an afternoon walk/play session, feeding/medication as needed, and a final calm wind-down before pickup. Regular photo updates and notes are sent after each visit. I care for dogs in my home in a calm, dog-only daycare environment (no dog sitting in clients' homes). My household includes an easygoing 11-year-old pug, Milo, and two friendly cats, Jewel (7) and Oliver (1); all are well-socialized and tolerant of visiting small dogs. I accept only small dogs under 25 lbs with friendly, social temperaments to ensure safe, relaxed interactions. In-home routine and care: - Introductions: Gradual, supervised meet-and-greet on arrival to assess comfort and body language. - Supervision: Constant, close supervision during play with separation options (gates/rooms/crates) if any stress appears. - Exercise & enrichment: Leashed walks, short play sessions, and puzzle toys tailored to each dog’s energy level. - Rest & space: Multiple cozy resting areas and quiet time for seniors or shy dogs. Feeding & meds: Individual feeding by schedule; medication administered as directed with written instructions. - Hygiene & safety: Clean, dog-proofed spaces; fresh water always available; immediate cleanup of accidents. - Communication: Photo updates and a brief report after each day covering potty, play, meals, behavior, and any concerns. I prioritize calm, supervised socialization and a stress-free routine to make visiting dogs feel safe and happy alongside Milo, Jewel, and Oliver.
“I really appreciate Darby's stance on dominance upon arrival, she deals with no bull! And I felt my pup was secure during her daily visits at Darbys home, with walks and suitable interaction with other pups at her home, I had no complaints. My pup was fed her meals as requested and Darby went the extent to clean the containers I brougjt homemade meals in for feeding, so I hadnt needed to worry about that after a long day! I respect Darby's stance even if off stanish to start.”
“Harley was a little nervous to be left here since he's a little dog and Kacie has a big energetic dog, but at the end of the day, I knew Harley adapted and had a really good time. Kacie gave ample updates so that I didn't worry about my little guy.”

“My Annie just *loves* Sonia and her awesome back yard! Sonia is so kind and loving with the dogs.... a gentle spirit... that makes it so easy to leave our pet with her knowing she will be loved, played with, given the time and attention she needs. It is so comforting and a huge peace of mind, leaving Annie with Sonia. I have no worries in doing so. And the pictures throughout the day are such an added bonus! I would totally recommend Sonia to anyone looking for daycare needs for their precious pup!”

“Dani had a fantastic day with Rachel! She passed out HARD on the drive home 😂 She loves playing and peanut butter kongs!! I ran out of kibble but Rachel saved the day with breakfast!!”

About: When I was little and people asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I always said 'dog walker' — and now I finally get to live that dream! This summer I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your pets. I have experience with both small and large dogs, as well as cats, and I treat every animal like my own. This summer I'm home in Olympia taking a college course, so my days are flexible and my focus is simple — hitting the books and spoiling some fur babies! “Alison is our favorite dog sitter. She is very responsible, great with communication, really takes the time to understand our dog’s needs. She works from home but always takes time to take our dog out for walks or play with her. You can really tell she loves dogs. We couldn’t recommend her more.”

“We were very happy with our dogs care with Pamela. Our dog got the attention and activity with other dogs that he needed while we were gone for a day. And he was tired and happy when we picked him up 😀 It was nice to receive pictures thruout the day too! Will definately use Pamela's services again for our pup!”

About: I have been taking care of animals my whole life. I have a genuine love for being near animals and taking care of them because they brighten my day. I am currently in college I want to try to make pet sitting a part time job so I can save up for my future. The apartment comples I live in has a dog park where a lot of dogs go and have fun, if there is any type of schedule by the owner/owners I would follow it. I usually try to relax on my free time, reading books and enjoying art, my hobbies give me time to take care of and play with the animals that I care for. The doors are locked unless I or someone with a key unlocks them, i make sure that the dogs have a leash on before I open the door and that there are no cats near the door to run out.
“Lauren was great with our little guy! This was our little guy’s first time doing doggy daycare. She made sure to make us feel comfortable and keep us up to date on his day by sending pictures and updates of what he was doing. Love that she focuses on one client at a time. Definitely recommend!”

“Madison was SO great with our slightly anxious dog Griffy! She showed up on time, was responsive to messages, sent plenty of pictures and updates and best of all, our dog loved her and came home tired and happy while I was out of town. We'll be booking Madison again without a second thought!”

“Helena takes the best care of my dog! She always makes time for her in her schedule. I always look forward to the updates she sends me after her visit”

“I highly reccomend Brett! I got very sick and was in a pretty desperate situation with my newly rescued, very large pitt mix. I contacted Brett and he got in touch with me right away. He came at the drop of a hat a few days when Ash really need a walk. He even came from farther than he routinely helps people. Very reliable, punctual and kind. Was easily able to handle my 85 lb pitt mix. (With bad manners...lol) I'm very grateful for the help he gave me. Give him a call!”

About: I've had two dogs as pets, one for 15 years and another lived until 11. I miss the companionship and would love to walk a few dogs in the neighborhood during work breaks. I work full-time locally and would love to break up my day with check-ins or dog walks. My schedule is flexible, allowing me to plan ahead for check-in, play, or for longer walks (up to an hour and a half). I have lived in Olympia since 2013. I am very comfortable working with dogs and have a soft spot for senior dogs or those with special needs. My last dog had degenerative myelopathy and enjoyed modified walks and exercise until the end. My hope is to have a few dogs during my work week to connect with and take care of, ideally up to two hours between 11-4, M-F.
About: I started dog sitting when I was 14 years old for friends and family. I have always had at least two dogs in my life. Nothing makes me happier than a happy pet. I am an experienced pet sitter with plenty of experience walking dogs as well. I would love the opportunity to meet you and your furry friend. I have full flexibility as this is my only job. My availability should be completely open to whatever helps you and your fur baby’s needs. I want every pet to be as happy as possible. I will take care of/love your dogs as they are my own. Making sure they are able to exert their energy while also getting the proper love is always my top priority. Will be sure to update you as much as possible with some pictures as well.
About: Iv always grown up around animals especially dogs. From a family setting to being just me and my dog in college. I’m a current service member so I have access on JBLM as well. I only have my one pup and getting her a fun friend for a few days is fun for us both. I’m currently off work all summer so I’m usually taking my dog on walks 2+ times a day and just getting out to enjoy the PNW sun. Super careful at first and then loosen up when I learn how they want to play and interact. Some dogs want go play 24/7 and some just like to be a potato. Both are great to me
About: I've been a pet lover since I was a kid. I started with frogs, lizards and snakes, and graduated to cats and dogs. Until I was able to have dogs of my own, I spent over 10 years pet-sitting for friends and family, volunteering in animal shelters, and have even worked in 2 seperate doggy daycares. My MO is always long walks and lots of attention. I have 2 dogs of my own, a cumulative 17 years of pet raising experience. I have experience caring for sick pets and administering medication both orally and subcutaneously. I've had my pups since they were young and would consider them very well trained. If you're looking to work on certain behaviors, I can absolutely work on that during their stay. I have a fenced yard, a safe neighborhood for long walks, and for longer stays, expect your dog to enjoy a nice hike! I mostly work from home, so for daycare your dog(s) would never be alone and would have access to my fully fenced backyard whenever they want. During the week, I can do a long walk during my lunch break, and another after work. Weekends I tend to go hiking, so if your pup enjoys nature, they will for sure have a great time. Due to my variable work schedule, I cannot accommodate recurring appointments. My yard is fully fenced, and I have 2 friendly dogs. Safety is paramount, so dogs would be supervised while in the yard together. If your dog requires a crate, I have both a plastic and soft sided kennel for indoors.
“Kacie was a true treasure, she was always been on time, totally reliable. Being a medical traveler with random shifts it isn’t easy to find someone that is willing to do different hours and days. The dogs love her and I will continue using her services as long as I am in this area.”

“Maria is especially good at coaxing our dog out on walks when the pup doesn't want to go. We also appreciate that she submits Rover cards for each visit and leaves the house exactly as she found it. We feel so much better about being at work all day knowing Maria is spending time with our dog.”

“Erika and Maxwell are just the best! They were so sweet to our two dogs during the meet and greet, so we knew it was going to be a great fit. Our dogs can be a lot to walk because they are big and prey driven, but Maxwell and Erika were up to the challenge. We came back home to two very tired and happy girls. “I couldn’t possibly speak more highly of my experience with Darby and all of the effort, extra care, patience, and attention she put into caring for my brand new 1.5 year old husky rescue dog. Not only did she help me urgently but she took the time to ask me appropriate questions and listen to anything I felt was important regarding the dogs behavioral needs and flaws. From being a picky eater, mostly untrained, hyper, suffering from separation anxiety, and needing guidance to play with other dogs Darby was prepared, knowledgeable, and kind handling it all. She sent great updates with pictures included during our stay that helped bring a sense of relief to our first time using extended stay on Rover. We will be seeking out Darby’s services again in the near future for my two adult GSD mixes because I have full confidence and trust in her abilities. Finding good hearted genuine people can be quite difficult and I am so thankful we met!”
