About: I've lived my whole life around pets, specifically cats and dogs. My family and friends alike all relied on me for pet sitting care which included regular dog walking and extended, overnight stays. I'm currently not working and only going to school. When I do get a job, it will only be part-time and I'll update my schedule accordingly. As of right now, I have ample time for frequent check-in's and overnight stays, especially in Yamhill County. I unfortunately do not offer pet care at my personal home, but am willing to stay overnight at client's homes. I believe in leaving places better than I found them, AKA no trace left behind!

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs, from Mini Alaskan Eskimos to German Shepherds. I grew up around Golden Retrievers. I also have a lot of experience with cats. I also like to send updates and photos so you feel comfortable knowing how your pet is doing while you’re away. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible and help them feel secure in their own space. About: Being raised on a small farm, there have always been cats & dogs around to share in the ups & downs of life. I love leaning into each individual's personality and working with positive reenforcement to catch the animals doing good behavior! I have experience training/working with dogs of all ages. Sometimes our furry friends need extra care. I am experienced in oral medicine administration, wound care, ear & eye treatments (if need be)! I am available for pet care on a daily basis. I care for my cats & dog daily. If ever I need backup support, I have a network of folks willing to lend a hand. When pet sitting, I follow the instructions given by the owner regarding when to feed, how much food, how often they need to go outside. Beyond that, I typically tidy up the space every evening, sweeping/vacuuming, refreshing waters, etc. I try to develop a routine so that the animals know what to expect and can relax into a sense of order. I generally find ways that each animal likes to play and find games that are fun and rewarding.

About: I've been an animal lover as long as I can remember. When I was 9 years old, my Dad got me my first Golden Retriever for Valentine's Day 1998. Her name was Star. I wanted a Golden because I fell in love with Shadow from "Homeward Bound". Star was my best friend, and we trained together in Canine Good Citizenry and agility. She could jump through hula hoops, over my arm, and she knew all sorts of tricks. I also love horses and used to spend summers and spring breaks on my cousin's farm in Apopka, Florida where she was the Barn Manager for a gal who rode in the Irish Olympics for the Equestrian Team. I had my own horse when I was younger, but we sadly had to sell her when my mother passed away when I was 9 years old. I've had dogs and cats off and on my entire life, but sadly, I just recently moved to Oregon and do not have any pets of my own right now for a few reasons: The first is that I'm working diligently to get established in Oregon and currently have a Mon-Thursday schedule with the City of Salem that requires me to be away from home for over 10 hours a day. Second, my roommate has a sick and aging cat who is not doing well, and we do not want to stress him out by adding pets to the house right now. Hopefully, my roommate will be able to reconsider when things change, but for now, Bok Choy (and his comfort) is our main priority at my house. Third, I'm hoping to move my Dad out to Oregon within the next 3 years, but for now, he is living alone as a retiree in Georgia, where I grew up. He is very attached to our dog Hank, and even though I'm definitely Hank's favorite person, I couldn't stand the thought of separating those two because I felt like my Dad needs Hank more than I do as Hank is his reason to get up in the morning! I miss Hank more than words can express, but I think we made the right call because Hank does not like being alone, and Dad can accommodate this as he is retired whereas I am in the main career years. I have previous dog sitting experience, but sadly, my identity was hacked, and I lost all of my photos on my Facebook account and lost many of my contacts through my old email address that I lost access to. I have also done amateur dog training and hope to get a professional certification in dog training within the next 12 months. I am happy to house sit during my work week if you only have cats that need tending after office hours. I won't be accepting house sitting for dogs unless there is an understanding of my work schedule and the dog has access to a doggy door and a yard or puppy pads are used during the day. I would highly recommend finding a sitter who can be with your dog during the business day instead of requesting me if you have dogs and need assistance during my work week (Mon-Thurs). This is a Side Hustle for me, but it also the more meaningful of my jobs because I love animals more than anything else in this world, and being around them is good for my mental health. I currently work Monday-Thursday until 4:30PM so it will be difficult for me to provide overnight dog sitting until Thursday after 5 PM unless your dog has access to a doggy door or puppy pads. I would highly recommend finding a sitter who does this full time if you need assistance during business hours Monday-Thursday. When I am at your house, your pet is my priority. If they need exercise or stimulation, we will make that happen. I will almost feel guilty for getting paid for it because it will literally be my pleasure. I will ask you to leave detailed instructions that will make my life easier and expect you to extend trust to me to do my job well. I understand it is difficult and that trust is earned and not freely given, but we need to have a clear discussion before you leave about what your expectations are so I can decide If I can meet those in a way that will not cause me undue anxiety. If you need someone after 5PM Mon-Thursday or anytime on the weekends, I am your sitter!

About: I live in Salem but drive up to Portland several times a week. So If you live in the Portland or Salem area or anywhere in between, I am happy to help you with your pet sitting needs. I grew up with cats, dogs, and chickens. My earliest pet care was at the age of 10 taking care of my neighbors dogs and cats while they were gone. In my adult life, I've had one cat and 4 dogs. My current dog is a Standard Poodle named Percy. He's a huge love! I know your pets are your heart, too. I strive to give your pets my best love and care while you're gone, just like I would want someone to give Percy! I currently work from home, so I can pop in or stay over easily. I would hope that your pet is able to walk with Percy, because he would hate to be left out of the fun. Each pet is unique and will be respected. Grouchy kitty under the bed?? I’ll say hello extra sweet and then leave them be. Tigger-like active puppy? Let’s throw some balls in the yard! The pet that thinks my lap is theirs? Good snuggles and lots of sweet talk, for sure! About: Since 2021 I’ve fostered 2 cats and 2 dogs and have found them each their perfect forever homes. I love animals and love making sure that they’re cared for and taken care of. Trails, parks, and beaches, oh my! Oh the places that your little furry friend and I will go 🐶🐾🦮 As a veteran enrolled in law school full time, I understand the importance of time management and responsibility. Most of my availability will be during the week after class and in between studying, with more time typically opening up on the weekends. I am unable to care for pets in my apartment complex but I will make sure that your pet continues to feel right at home in their own environment. I’ll cater my care to any dietary or medical treatments and medications and will ensure that they are properly exercised.

I also have a sweet, energized kitty that will keep your fur baby company! If your pet is uncomfortable around other pets, I have a pet gate and an extra bedroom to keep Sushi away. Otherwise if I am your house I will accommodate to any of your rules or needs.

About: I have extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats. I personally cared for my Shiba Inu for three years, including daily feeding, walking, playtime, grooming, and keeping a consistent routine. I also provided in-home care for a kitten for two months, making sure she was fed on schedule, had a clean litter box, received plenty of playtime and attention, and felt comfortable and safe in a new environment. I have also cared for a friend’s Golden Retriever for a month while they were traveling abroad. I handled his daily walks, feeding, playtime, and general care, while giving him plenty of companionship and attention. I work at a clinic on weekends, but I don’t have a regular job during the rest of the week. This gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of free time to care for pets. I’m available during most weekdays and can easily adjust my schedule to accommodate each pet’s routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship. I provide a calm, clean, and safe environment for pets, whether they stay in my home or I care for them in their own home. I don’t smoke, drink alcohol, or use drugs, and I’m respectful of the home and the owner’s routines and rules. I genuinely enjoy animals, reading, and going for walks, so I’m happy to spend plenty of time with pets throughout the day, especially if they enjoy companionship and interaction. “Wow. Jade went above and beyond for my cat. I told Jade before she watched my cat, Sister, that I was nervous because she’s such an anxious cat and I didn’t want things to be too difficult. Fret not. I come home to see my cat out in the living room- basking in the sun, not a care in the world. She wasn’t hiding like she usually does when new people are around, no, she was purring and relaxed. When I went to pet Sister, I made a crazy discovery. Her nails? Trimmed. Her hair? Washed. Not only that, I had told Jade not to worry about the litter box since I wouldn’t be gone for long. And what did Jade do? She deep cleaned it. Deep cleaned my cat’s litter box just because. I mean come on. Talk about a cat sitter! I could not recommend this girl more. She’s thoughtful, she’s kind, she’s an animal whisperer. Just when you think things couldn’t be better, Jade says just wait. 5 stars and a happy cat waiting for Jade’s return.”
